I brought my 91 year old mom from Northern California a year ago to live at my home until I was no longer able to care for her and her rapidly declining Alzheimers disease. Being a perfectionist, I did a most thorough research on assisted living facilities in the Los Angeles area. When I walked into the Peach House the Van Nuys home, I knew I found exactly what I was looking for, a place I myself would reside in, it was Nirvana! Later as I toured the other Grant Serenity homes I realized that they were all alike. I feel blessed that I found Nvard and the way she passionately cares for each of her clients. My moms medical needs were always attended to with urgency, respectful consideration of her wishes and excellence in judgement. I always felt secure that all of my moms physical and emotional needs were taken care of in a most professional and compassionate way.In addition, all of the homes are immaculate, both inside and out with the gardens full of blooming plants, flowers and fruit trees. The walls are adorned with beautiful art work and there is a genuine feeling of warmth and coziness. The kitchen is overflowing with fresh fruit and vegetables and the food served is delicious. My mom loved soups and was served her favorite ones daily, all home cooked. When she got to the stage when she had difficulty swallowing, the staff would sit there for hours with utmost patience and love feeding her and encouraging her to eat. All the staff was so tuned to my moms needs. They played music and danced with her, they role played during her delusions and pretended that this was her home and they were her guests. They held her and hugged her when she needed to be consoled, they slept on the sofa in her room when she was scared to be alone. They laughed with her and cried with her and later with me, when I needed to be cared for emotionally. I am an only child and the only family my mom had. The staff was her family and when it was time for her to die, we all sat together, cried together, told stories of her life and held one another tight. Truly, I dont know how I would have gone through these last stages of my moms life without Nvard and her angels, her staff. I love them all and my heart is full of love, peace and gratitude to this amazing group of people. They are my family and will forever stay in my heart alongside the precious memories of my mom.

The new Burbank home is wonderful! Its just down the street from me, and I love going down there to visit my mother.Nvard, the owner, is wonderful, and the attention she gives her homes and her great handpicked caregivers is so reassuring for our family. We are so grateful for all of them and the care and love they have for our mom and all of the other residents.We are so grateful to know Nvard, and are so lucky our mother lives in one of her homes.

We could not have found a better place for my mother than Grant Serenity Home in Van Nuys. Nvard and her staff are simply the best. The kindness, caring and compassion are beyond anything I could have imagined for my mother at this stage of her life.n her last 16 months, my mother had become completely dependent and Nvard and her careful choices of care givers lavished my mother with support, respect and love. This home has a beautiful garden which we spent many hours enjoying. My mother particularly appreciated the delicious home cooked meals. And Nvards meticulous attention to cleanliness and details made us feel very safe in these times of CovidI cannot recommend Grant Serenity Homes more heartily.

Excellent care in a loving environment. Rose, the owner, is hands-on and goes above and beyond for her residents. Caregivers are caring, compassionate, and very attentive. The residence is clean, beautifully decorated, and feels like a home. Highly recommend!

Grants Serenity Homes is dedicated to solving challenges related to one of our cherished loved one as we navigate through the phases of elderly care. My Dad is lovingly embraced by Rose and her caregivers who go above and beyond to ensure he is valued, respected and treated with compassionate dignity. Rose the owner runs an extremely well managed staff and she is actively involved in the care of my Dad. Our family feels welcome, comfortable and involved in all facets of my Dads care. Rose understands what my Dad requires emotionally, physically and mentally and she puts allot of time and energy into helping him achieve his capabilities. The home is always clean and their meals are delicious!

My father was at the Van Nuys facility recently and the care he received was wonderful! Rose is a hands on owner, knowledgeable and very compassionate, both to her residents and their families. Her staff is great and we couldnt have asked for better care for my father. When it was clear my father was dying, they went out of their way to ensure his comfort and various family members comfort during the whole process.facility is beautiful, clean, and very open and airy, with lovely artwork throughout. Lots of parking onsite as well.
