We moved our mother here after touring their beautiful facility and seeing so many good reviews. Our mother is very very particular about her food, and we hear rave reviews from her about the food! Gourmet meals, not just everyday average food, and with lots of choices daily. The staff is very professional and takes very good care of our mother. One caretaker gives my mother massages and even trims her nails. My mother just adores her.Also the managers are awesome and go the extra mile to avoid Covid infections there. We hear from them via e-mail multiple times weekly with updates on what they are doing to keep our mother and other residents safe. I can see it is not easy, but I doubt anyone does it better.If you want a resort type atmosphere and excellent care and great food, my sister and I believe it is the best of the best.

My 100 year old father has been living in the memory care section of Atria hacienda for almost 1 year. Staff is extremely kind to him and with hospice nurse helping with his meds and showering Im pleased with his care. My only other comment would be communication, as my phone or text messages are not always returned promptly.

Several years ago, we were searching for a safe, happy and healthy place for my mother to move into and we had the good fortune of finding the Atria Hacienda in Palm Desert.Our initial contact was with the Sales Director Brad Harker, an incredibly gracious and honest man, and from those early moments touring the facility and speaking with Brad, we had the feeling that this Atria would be a really good choice.Well, my mom recently celebrated her four-year anniversary of living there and things continually have gotten better! Yes, Brad is still there, thank goodness, but most importantly last year a new Executive Director, Robert Barton, came on board, and he has helped to make a good place to live, into a great place!Robert is wonderful. My mom and I have personally experienced his ability to provide creative solutions, his personal integrity and his warm heart. I know Robert treats everyone that lives and works there with respect and dignity. His leadership has raised the level of quality at the Atria Hacienda to a new high and its abundantly clear that a significant amount of time has been spent continuing to educate and inspire the staff to do their best and to strive for excellence. And I must say that the staff is, THE VERY BEST!! know there are many possible choices out there for senior living, but youll be making a big mistake if you dont check out the Atria Hacienda in Palm Desert. Were so happy we did because it changed my mothers life for the better and ours as well.

Atria Hacienda has been a great home for my Grandma. She has been at Atria for over 5 years and seen a lot of transition in those years. I feel so fortunate, that she has been able to progress through her care levels here. Two years ago, she fell, broke a hip. We thought we would loose her. She had pretty much given up.She got released from a skilled nursing facility. Got back to her apartment at Atria and has thrived, both physically and mentally. My visits twice a week are not the reason why. The entire staff (Caregivers, food service, cleaning staff, managing director of memory care and facility management) are amazing and they are making the difference. I can see her face recognize and light up, when we interact with the staff membershroughout the entire facilityThe real reason for this post is to say THANK YOU to the Atria Staff!They have taken such good care of my Grandma during this Covid nightmare. I work with the general public everyday. It is difficult and painful to know your loved one is safer cared for away from you, than near you, because of your constant exposure. So THANK YOU to each of you!!Only reason not 5 stars, bring back orange sherbet everyday in the dining room and Grille

Im a current resident living here for the past 4 years and I have to say this a great place to live in the area. What sets this place apart from others is the employees who are polite and friendly; they know all of our names and treat us like family. Ive made some great friendships with other independent residents who live here as well. We stay active by participating in the fun activities including various card games and entertainment the community puts such as the recent Casino Night.

Atria Hacienda was a large community, and it felt more like a hotel. We visited the whole place and I was treated very well. They had a movie theater. The building was totally updated. They're very amicable. It had a Western look with Mexican style tile. Its appearance was more of a desert. They had bougainvillea, palm trees, nice landscaping, morning glories, and flowers all around. The dining room was nice.

I would give Atria Hacienda a 5. They had three dining areas, tablecloth linens, a salad bar, excellent choices, and good food, and there is a café that is separate from the dining. It is the best in the area.

It really is beautiful and groomed well with nice rooms and grounds accented with flowers and desert flora.It is centralized near hwy 111 shops and El Paseo restaurant and boutique district. A quiet and peaceful place back far enough from Monterey to avoid any traffic sound but across it is the Westfield mall. Definitely should be considered for a prime residential facility.

What I like about Atria Hacienda are the people that are there and the people that take care of you. The rooms are very wonderful. You have choices of sizes that you want or need, so you make the choices according to what you can afford. The rooms are very nice. They’re exactly what I want. The food was excellent. I was given choices and options. Every time I come into town, I have been invited to go at lunch or dinner or whatever I want. The dining area is very nice. There’s 2 of them. There’s a dining area and a grill kind of. They have more activities than I can ever do in my lifetime.

Atria is probably one of the best of its kind, and I’m extremely happy with it. The care of the staff was absolutely wonderful. Mary is the person in charge of memory care, and there couldn’t be a better person. She is helpful, kind, and always ready and able to do anything she can to make my husband, and I am comfortable and satisfied. He’s only been there a week and a half, and I’m extremely happy. It couldn’t be a better situation.

I dont even know how to start, but to say as a 37 year caregiver experience, who provides services to all kinds of mental ilnness, cancer, all sorts of surgeries, cuadreplegic, heart attack, stroke and those who only need companiship clients. I am CERTAIN 100% ATRIA is the best facility I have ever encounter in all my caregiving years. I have provided services to other clients who have and live in other facilitiesm in the Coachella Valley, that are fancier, or others not so fancy, but the care and maintance, very dissapointed, and very poor quality. My dissapointment starts when I see some negligence to meet cetain clients needs or to keep meals applealing, delicious, and nutritious.During my time here in ATRIA, my obserbation has been totally positive. Staff members really care for each clients, treat clients with respect, dignity and totally integrity. I have observed, housekeepers, other staff members, and administrative personal have a personal contact with each client. Even though they know my client has a caregiver, they still come to the room and check on my client, Always making sure bed is done, medecine is administered on a timely manner, that client its ok. In addition they come to his room if cliet doesnt show up for a meal, or making sure client its in good alrightIm also impress with kitchen staff. Every single kitchen staff member is professional, humble, and compassionate, regardless of client mental or physical, background or ethnicity status. The, interaction and communication with each client is very impressive. Thirty seven years of caregiving says a lot and expresing myself this way about Atria is the least thing I can do. My mom lives there she absolutely loves the place. She plays bingo she plays cards she loves the food and I've been told by other people that it's the best food in the Palm Springs / Palm Desert area . Price wise it's not the most expensive but it's not the least expensive. My mom has a one bedroom and pays over $5000 but when you look at all the benefits of being there; full-time care, an internal help paging system, assisted-living if necessary. With all of the benefits it's really a good deal . I wish it was in San Diego where I live but you can't have everything .

My mother lived at The Atria Hacienda for about two years. first in assisted living and then in Lifestyles. She was well cared for and liked the beautiful ambiance. The food is pretty good too, giving a choice of a dining room or The Bistro. The have many activities and other entertainment such as singers, and musical groups who come in and perform, which she especially liked.another popular thing is "The Movie Theater" where every day there are two showings of movies accompanied by popcorn.The staff in Lifestyles is exceptional and the Lifestyles director, Doreen, is amazing.All in all, it is a nice bright, airy p;lace with good management and a caring staff.Annie CholakianDaughter of a resident

I have nothing but great things to say about the staff at Atria! From the first tour to moving in, moving out, and everything in between, the staff was compassionate, responsive, and committed to providing excellent care for my stepfather. After living in the Life Guidance Center for one month, my stepfather said, "If I can't be home, this is the best place to be!" Whenever I visited him, he was happy and content. He joined in the group activities, I believe, because the caregivers gave special attention to him (and every other person) to make him feel loved and appreciated. My stepfather was at Atria for a brief respite care, but our family would have no reservations about having him live there indefinitely, if that became necessary. THANK YOU to all of the wonderful staff for making this difficult journey easier for my stepfather and his family! God bless you!

The tour we had at Atria Hacienda was just wonderful. They answered all of our questions and were really good and accommodating. The one person who gave us the tour was so helpful and spent a lot of time with us. It was such a good experience. The rooms were a good size. The lady showed us the library and the other rooms where they do their activities. The food was great, and the dining area was nice. I liked the whole place because it was so family-oriented. The staff talked to the residents.

We visited Atria Hacienda. The staff was very lovely, nice, helpful, and not pushy, but they do call me all of the time. The room would have been fine for my neighbor, and she could afford it. They have a theater, movie room, and a lot of activities. We had lunch there, and the food was very good.

We are moving to Atria Hacienda. Their rooms have a top burner, a refrigerator, and a microwave. We want somewhere to fix breakfast but then eat the rest of the meals in the dining room. The dining room looked very pleasant. They had a nice menu, and you can eat anytime of the day you want. I was very pleased that Atria Hacienda could work with me quite a bit. It was the most expensive one, so I don’t like the price, but they have done a lot for me. It has been a very pleasant experience.

My parents are going to Atria Hacienda. We toured the facility, and it is absolutely beautiful. The people are nice and lovely. I feel very comfortable with my parents being there for the winter. They have a lovely dining, common, outside, and pool areas. The staff, of course, is absolutely attentive. It is really worth a five-star rating. They have a two-bedroom apartment that is lovely. It does not feel institutional at all.

I visited Atria Hacienda. It is the top-of-the-line. Out of the four that I have gone to, it is my favorite because of their flexibility. They have a dining room that is open. You can go in whenever you want to get food. You do not have to show up at noon for lunch or be cut off at 1 or 1:30, so I like that flexibility. The location is excellent. It is across the street from our regional mall and so there is many places you could walk to. Also they have early-morning walking in the mall when the weather is bad. They have two separate restaurants and very good and very nice rooms for the library and theater seating for movies. It is top-of-the-line, but it is also the most expensive. One bedroom is ranging around $4,400 to $4,600.
