Has alot of potential but staff doesn't seem to be knowledgeable on dementia or alzheimers. When we pay rent we have yo pay an additional 30$ out of pocket for cashiers checks because that's all they accept. Cleanliness is an issue. Upper staff likes to say thier staff is amazing but isn't present enough to really know. Tried saying that my one grandparent is throwing food in the floor and he isn't, his hands are numb and he drops things cause he has worked his entire life and has a couple brain surgeries. Alit of time residents wonder without supervision around and that is nice sometimes but not with memory care residents or fall risks. Wants to complain that we bring in non diabetic snacks when they don't even care enough to check the blood sugar and then they complain at us. Had thier personal bed frame/mattress, nesquick items and walker misplaced. Only 2 things were recovered, I had worked as a nurse for years and know how to care for memory care residents because that's what I specialized in. They are way under staffed to be handling a place of this size. The aids are nice, well most of them. Will update with further information as things go on.

My mother was placed very efficiently in a nice sized and bright room. Freedom hospice supported her care seamlessly with Staff personnel. Off to a good start!

Roseleaf Oroville is perfect for my 100 year old friend. After less than 2 months she quietly confided that "I'm happy here." That testimony was and is the best news. The residents have made her a part of the 'family'. The staff cherish her. She knows she's safe and cared for. I have had so much communication with Ashlyn in the front office. I have her number on speed dial and absolutely always am comforted and more than happy with her efficiency. Brittany in housekeeping is wonderful. Thank you to all the staff at Roseville Oroville!

Could not find a better and caring place for my brother.All the staff are friendly and go the extra mile to me as his provider and him as a resident. Great ease of mind knowing he is well taken care of.

My sister and I visited Rose Leaf In June of 23. We had the wonderful pleasure to end our tour w their Med Director, Diane Bingham, who got us started on the right path w her wisdom as to how to proceed! Our other sister w A TBI. And now dementia needed Memory care! They were not accepting medi-cal patient so that was out for our sister! Dinae guided us to change Drs! It was her recommendation for Hardeep Mundh! We changed to he and his wife, they were Johnny on the spot to get things done! Just what her Beh psych had been requesting her then Dr, to do which was to order A neuro psychological eval of her! We changed her Dr to Pa Hardeep Mundh and his wife Camille at Feather River Health solutions in Live Oak June 23! Impressive couple tons of knowledge serving the much help needed faction of our society w/incognition! He had all the answers hit her approved for her UCDAVIS MED VENTRR 11/21/23 w Dr Jaclyn Fox! Her finds confirmed our sister’s decline in functional abilities rec long term mem care for her! We were introduced to The ALw applied for our sister they were unable to accept her as they did not offer the program! In Aug 24 our sister went to Oro Hosp ER for eval, as a result of needing help, they kept her for a few days seeking placement unsuccessfully, she was coinky dinky she went to Rose Leaf and has flourished and is so happy there! I have worked w Ashlyn who is phenomenal and now my sis is leaving for Her ALW residence, they don’t want her to leave as she is loving it there! They are on turn loving her, w their tender, kind loving care, plus the two way joy that is prevalent since her placement there on Wed 8-14 she is responding to their entire program love the staff and activities! I hate to have to pull her out of the fav but do not take medi cal! I met w Diane today to thank her as she started us on this year long successful journey! I asked that if they are EVER approved for ALW to now put her at the top of their list as I would return her here to this wonderful caring, loving, staff and and phenomenal place for our sister! Hope it happens soon! Thanks to each and every person who has made this temp placement be the best I have seen! Hope she has the chance to return as she has lived here in Oroville mostly Thermalito for 79 years want her to return home to RosecLeaf!

Roseleaf is a wonderful place with excellent staff! Brenda Williams, the Marketing Director, played a huge part in my decision to place my 77-year old brother John. Brenda shared everything and more about Roseleaf, both in Oroville and Chico. I would not have looked the direction I did, but Brenda gave us her time and worked at getting to know John and what his needs were. I am so pleased with my decision. My brother has found his forever home. Thank you Brenda Williams. You’re the very best!

My brother I law has been there for almost two years he is very happy there and we are happy with the care he is getting. Jim will be 95 the 27 of Feb.and everything always looks nice and everyone is nice and Friendly. I would recommend Larkspur Lodge to anyone who could afford it.
