On occasion, when I'm not able to be home and act as a care taker for my mom, we've hired Comfort Keepers to stand in. Each time we've had a good experience. My mother could not have had a more favorable experience with Comfort Keepers in Newport Beach, California this month, September 2021. I would say this agency is outstanding on all levels. Mom needed assistance with outpatient cataract surgery, which was more than just a friend or neighbor driving for one day. She lives in California and my sister and I are out-of-state. We were grateful to learn of Comfort Keepers. The management team sent a representative to meet my mother, Marcia Judson, several weeks ahead of her surgeries, all details were reviewed from driving to medication, food preparation and anything else she might have needed at home. This established Mom as a client of Comfort Keepers so when we need help again, she can call and set it up because she is already registered. Tracy drove her to her surgery and follow up office-visit the next day. Could not have been more prompt, professional and pleasant. She also drove her the following week for surgery. Sharissa took her for the next-day follow-up appointment. We had a total of four days over a week-long period and feel very fortunate. I know we will be using the agency many times again. My mother was lucky to work with Tracy Courtney and Sharissa Garcia of Comfort Keepers of Orange County, California.

When my elderly mother was discharged from the hospital, we needed care quickly, and Comfort Keepers came through. Sharissa of the Orange office called me back quickly, even though it was a Sunday afternoon, and was able to make arrangements with seasoned caregivers on short notice. It was nice to know someone would be with my mom for her first days and nights on her own. The caregivers who were scheduled arrived promptly and were very helpful with a variety of assistance, from bathing to changing clocks after daylight savings! I would recommend Comfort Keepers of Orange, and will call them again should the need arise.

My mother was diagnosed with dementia this past year. I have had three different highly rated caregiving agencies come to help care for my mother and was extremely disappointed with all of them except Comfort Keepers of Orange County. I found Comfort Keepers through a mailer from my mothers HMO, Kaiser Permanente. Comfort Keepers is professional, reliable and has a great website to keep up with my moms care and caregiver scheduling. Other companies I used often had caregivers that did not show up for their shifts, the agencies sent inaccurate bills, or the caregivers asked my mom if she wanted to hire them under the table! It was so frustrating because I was a busy professional who really needed help and didnt have time to keep monitoring the caregivers. Comfort Keepers was a huge relief to find. We have been with them for 4 months and the staff have been amazing. The caregiver was perfectly matched with my mom by the intake coordinator. My mother has been happy and I notice she has more motivation because she cant wait to see her caregiver and go do things. The caregiver helps my mom with small chores in the house and errands. She is attentive and will cheerfully chat with my mom for hours when that is what my mom wants to do for that day. The caregiver is always on time and the agency will contact me in plenty of time if there are any scheduling changes. I am less stressed knowing my mom is well cared for by Comfort Keepers and it gives me the break I need. I highly recommend this agency.

Its often tricky to find someone with whom your elderly parent can be comfortable - especially when it comes to such intimate tasks as showering and personal hygiene. We met with Krista from Comfort Keepers and told her our needs, and the next week she introduced Jamie who immediately just fit. Jamie is kind, gentle, caring with just the right amount of strictness and playfulness. She is the perfect fit for us - (Krista! How did you know?) We love Jamie and after over a year with us, she has become one of the family. Thank goodness we found Comfort Keepers!

Comfort keepers were great with my mother, and mom like the ladies that came to her place. They always left notes for me, they were very attentive towards my mothers needs. The Katella branch were so sweet in answering all questions we had as a family, communication was perfect. Sorry to say my mother had pasted, I would recommend this branch to anyone, the care they gave was excellent. I am very glad that I found them in this time that are elders want to stay home in their surrounds as much as possible.
