On behalf of our entire family, we can't thank the team at Pacifica enough. It's always worrisome to move a loved one into a care facility. My mom, Nancy, was a tough sell, but without the move, she was living alone and dementia was setting in. This place gave her a sense of community, friendships, good meals, activities, transportation, and the most caring staff we've ever encountered. Not only was the staff wonderful but even those living there take pride in the place and make others feel welcomed. There is a vibe of happiness with the members. Overall, It significantly improved her quality of living and, to be honest, extended her life as well. We visited often and saw firsthand how close the staff had become with her. They became a part of her life, not just a service group. Jackie, one of the leaders there, worked closely with us as my mom's condition declined. She ensured my mom's safety during her dementia while maintaining the comfort of her routine. In her final days, the whole team came together. They provided special meals, bed care, bathroom assistance, and frequent check-ins, even just to see how we were doing. They came in and out of the room every couple of hours, as needed, in those last few days. If you are considering placing a loved one here, you are doing them a huge favor by choosing this facility. Consider yourself fortunate to have found it, as you're making an excellent decision on their behalf.

Five stars all the way! We moved my mother from the Vi in La Jolla after 24 years there…at 101 years of age! The warm, welcoming staff, the amazing architecture within, the great and varying menu made the transition easy. Celia is now 102, quite happy in her surroundings and I have the comfort of that plus a communicative staff and great administration to work with. My in-laws moved in two months ago, and everything has been top notch. The staff is very caring and compassionate. There have been a few special events during our time here, including a Casino Night, a Summer Luau, and a day at the beach. For the beach outing, Jackie woke up very early to stake out a prime spot on the beach. The residents were transported via shuttle bus and were greeted by the staff who had set up tents, chairs, music, and a BBQ so the residents could enjoy some fun in the sun along with grilled hamburgers and hot dogs. Virgina even had some of the residents dancing. Miro, the activity director, is full of energy and her enthusiasm is infectious. She is always thinking of creative little events for the residents, including Spirit Days, Grandparents Day, Karaoke. Cheyenne is very considerate and once asked to speak with us just to make sure she was being culturally sensitive to my in-laws ethnic background. Overall, our experience has been wonderful.

Marvelous staff who became like family for my Mother-in-law Jo Ann who moved into her apartment when this facility was brand new about 5 years ago! Dining room experience is always pleasant and cheery even holiday events with staff dressed up making this a fun dining experience! Plenty of entertainment as well as activities, chair yoga became Jo Anns favorite! Over time as Jo Ann became less able to care for herself the lovely staff helped her dress daily in her favorite 'matchy matchy' way. Pacifica did increase her level of care as Jo Ann gracefully aged and reached 90, when one morning late in July staff found she had passed gracefully in her sleep we, all her family were notified personally by the director, Jackie Banks. I cannot thank you enough Jackie as Jo Ann always felt LOVED by you and your staff!

I recently moved into Pacifica Oceanside and have been here for a month with my wife. I had to have a fast move from skilled nursing and the marketing and management team made it all possible for my wife and I. The care team has been so attentive and amazing since day 1. I always love visiting Pacifica Oceanside. It just feels like home to me. The grounds are always kept up and cleaned. Chef Rudys Food has always been amazing and the ED Jackie always makes herself available to families and staff. As someone who also works in the industry, throughout the United States, I can honestly say I'd move my own parents there when they are ready! Take a tour with Cheyenne who has been there since the building opened. The Memory Care Director has also been with the company for years. There is definitely a sense of pride in that building as it should be!

I have visited this property on many occasions, as I have worked on this property installing new carpets in the rooms. Every time I walk into the main entry, the concierge is very welcoming. All the employees and even the residents are quick to greet me and say hello. There is such a warm and inviting vibe here that makes me excited to get to work on this property whenever the chance presents itself. I have worked on many other communities before, but Pacifica Oceanside is my absolute favorite.

We moved my father in earlier this month and so far so good. Everyone at Pacifica has been accommodating and welcoming. It took my father six months to realize he needed the extra support. Pacifica has given him a boost that he needs. They've had two special events for dining which have impressed me in two weeks. Cinco de Mayo and Mother's Day dinner. The employees all put effort to making the residents feel special. Cheyenne took her time helping us with our lease and ensuring the doctors and nurses did their job expeditiously to get my father in. We'll continue to work with them when or if problems arise. I've spoken with many residents about how they feel regarding Pacifica Oceanside and not one had anything bad to report. Pacifica Oceanside has a few residents that have been there since day 1 and those residents also told me they are happy to be there. I love the vibe and Mediterranean feel, welcoming and inviting. Thanks team for helping me sleep a little better knowing my dad is looked after.

Pacifica Senior Living in Oceanside is the best choice we made for our mother, when we moved her from independent living in Los Angeles to assisted living in San Diego, in June 2023. At the time of her move, we were unfamiliar with assisted living communities in the area, and by chance we came upon Pacifica. The exterior and interior of Pacifica looks like a Mediterranean villa, and the grounds are spectacular, and a delight to experience. My mom loves sitting outdoors on the grand, beautifully landscaped patio. The management at Pacifica is exceptional, and I have the highest respect for Jackie Banks, the Executive Director. Jackie is professional, knowledgeable, approachable, and compassionate; she understands the needs of the residents, and their respective families. My experience with Kristel Johnson, the Director of Resident Services, has been equally rewarding. The med tech department is skilled and committed, as are the care workers. The employees in every department at Pacifica are exceptional. My mom has been treated with loving kindness, and respect, essentially from strangers who I now address by names, and whom I regard as extended family. Residents cannot go hungry at Pacifica and honestly, they have a gourmet menu to choose from daily for all three meals. Pacifica hosts terrific holiday events, which include music and delectable food. Happy hour is usually on a Thursday, and wine and music are included. There are lots of in house activities to entertain residents, and outings too. The upstairs library is one of my favorite hangouts. Thank you Pacifica of Oceanside for your outstanding commitment. I am grateful to have my mom reside at such a special place.

I am a musician who has performed many times at Pacifica Oceanside and have worked at many senior communitites for many years. I was booked by the activity director, Jiovani, to perform an event on December 4th, 2023. Since then, Jiovani has moved on and now we are not getting paid for that event. We have never had trouble getting paid in the past but now it is nearly 5 months later and we have not gotten paid yet. I have reached out at least a dozen times only to get a run around from one department to another. I don't understand a company like this refusing to pay it's vendors. It's completely unexceptable!!

I’ve been working with a private company and was stationed here at pacific senior care! I’ve been here for 5 months I work 1 on 1 with a patient. My patient loves to attend the activities they are so creative and the daily exercises they are very entertaining for her. I absolutely love working with Suzanne. Her work ethic is absolutely amazing she goes above and beyond with her activities. My patient loves playing crossword puzzles and Suzanne makes it a fun challenge for her an others! My patient loves to paint she has so much fun with the others. With Suzanne’s energetic attitude she always puts a smile on my patient and others, she’s very caring and always helps other patients even when no one else is looking. Suzanne takes a lot of pride into her work and she absolutely cares for the patients! She is a wonderful person to work with!

It became clear after several accidents, falls and wandering incidents it was unfortunately time to find a safe place for our mother to live. Alzheimer’s is such an awful unfair disease. We were fortunate to have found a new safe loving home for Mom at Pacifica Oceanside memory care center. Her days are full of joy and exceptional care at this most difficult stage in her life. I have been working here at Pacifica for 6 months now as a Activity Assistant and I have to say that I absolutely love it. I love the atmosphere its so warm and cozy. Especially if you get a spot by the fireplace. The employees are great to work with, but most of all I enjoy the residents that I get to entertain throughout the day. The Activity Director Jiovani is alway making sure that I have everything I need for my activities here at Legacies. The residents are always pleased with the fun Happy hours and music. I also want to give a shout out to Michelle for the amazing job she does running Legacies. Recently came by on a tour of the complex with my grandmother and was pleasantly surprised by how well it went. Weve visited a few other places previously but werent really sold on them. Also sold on the fact that the tour was a safe as it could be during this time of craziness because of COVID. The staff at Pacifica Oceanside were really, as cliche as it might sound, welcoming. Throughout the whole tour, any question we had was answered and we honestly had a great time. They didnt talk down to my grandmother like some other places had and listened to all her concerns, especially the ones about COVID. My grandmother is kinda picky but she adored the complex and we both left feeling confident in this being a place where itd be safe and enjoyable to live in.

My husband and I visited Pacifica and we were greeted by a warm and friendly staff. Ms Zayra Carracco guided us through what the facility has to offer and we were impressed. Not only is it a beautiful place, its a great location to a shopping center and easy assess the freeway. We have visited other places but this one stands out. Its truly lovely and the staff are kind. I look forward to another tour when covid, hopefully, is over. Thank you everyone at Pacifica.

The place is super beautiful and after going on a tour with my grandmother, I can honestly say that the staff were more pleasant than we thought they would be. They were quick to answer any questions my grandmother had and were just easy to talk with. They followed COVID regulations and broke down information about their complex in an easy to understand manner.

I have been working here at Pacifica for 6 months now as a Activity Assistant and I have to say that I absolutely love it. I love the atmosphere its so warm and cozy. Especially if you get a spot by the fireplace. The employees are great to work with, but most of all I enjoy the residents that I get to entertain throughout the day. The Activity Director Jiovani is alway making sure that I have everything I need for my activities here at Legacies. The residents are always pleased with the fun Happy hours and music. I also want to give a shout out to Michelle for the amazing job she does running Legacies. I havent been here long, but everyone feels like family and the whole management team at Pacifica welcomed me with open arms.

The facility is fairly new so its nice. The staff is really nice. Weve had a couple incidences where the ball was dropped on changes in med orders that were not promptly followed up on. Their food leaves a lot to be desired though. If I had realized how lacking they were in the kitchen, I would not have given my stamp of approval for dad to move in.

Not being capable of adding to, or adjusting, any technical matters with the computer, printer, etc., I asked our maintenance director, Jesse Beas, to insert ink cartridges in my printer. He did it, quickly, with a pleasant attitude and made me feel confident that I can rely on the services presented to me, as a resident at Pacifica Sr. Living, Oceanside.
