Aegis at Shadowridge delivers both care and understanding to our assisted living and memory care residents.
The residents staying with us love the support and help they get while also enjoying their privacy. Seniors have their choice of studio, 1 or 2 bedroom units. Apartments with private baths and kitchenettes are also available. The staff is some of the best in Oceanside, they're always available to help with any level of services our residents need. We can assist with medical reminders to designing exercise programs and scheduling entertainment events. We designed the dining area at Aegis at Shadowridge to be a cozy, home style setting for our residents and family members. Our specialty is customized menus that provide delicious, home cooked meals that meet the needs of all residents.

Aegis is an outstanding community! Charlie is an exceptional leader and their community takes a higher acuity of care than most assisted living communities. Lisa is an excellent nurse and leader in their community...along with Dustin and Celia! They also provide excellent care as a staff and I've witnessed first-hand how well they communicate with the families of residents. If you are looking for assisted living in North County and Vista alike, be sure to drop by and tour Aegis!

I am an employee at shadowridge and so far I love it here everyone is so nice loving and caring. Working here is amazing from caregiving to having fun with activitys. Aegis is a great place for love ones and for employment.

My mother has been at Aegis Shadowridge for 3 years, in their memory care unit. I couldnt ask for a better place for her to reside. The staff is the most caring and loving group of people you could ever ask for. Especially during the pandemic when all Assisted Living facilities were shut down to outside visitors, I never once had a moments worry because I knew she was in the best possible hands. Aegis Shadowridge are dedicated employees who love what they do and treat each resident as a family member. My family and I only want the best for my mom in her final years and thats what weve found in Aegis!

Aegis Living Shadowridge has proven throughout 2020 to be the most outstanding long-term residential care home I have ever encountered. The staff and management really care about the residents and have filled in with love in place of family members during the COVID-19 pandemic. They have been the lifeline to our loved ones living at Aegis ... protecting them from the virus, putting forth effort far above and beyond the call of duty during this challenging time. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Aegis, Shadowridge was a fun place to live for residents AND a fun place to visit for family members. The food is great, numerous activities such as yoga exercise classes, bus tours, walks in the fabulous gardens, daily entertainment, hair salon, manicurist, and much more. Currently, in the midst of this pandemic, there are no words to express my gratitude to the management, staff, and especially the caregivers at Aegis, Shadowridge for their excellence and professionalism in finding ways to keep the residents happy and well during these trying times. They are all heroes in the truest sense of kindness and self- sacrifice. My hat is off to them. Thank you Aegis for taking such good care of my mom.

My mom works there and shes considered the best worker at Aegis at Shadowridge. Introduce yourself or your loved one to her and Ill almost guarantee that youll like her. Shes a hard worker, very caring and gets the job done.

The facility is nice and my dad likes his nurses. The only complaint I have is not receiving call backs when I leave messages for the head nurse regarding dads health. Its happened three times now.

My mother needed palliative care during her final weeks and the staff at Aegis worked with us to get her settled. All of her caregivers were excellent and very caring. My brother and I could not ask for better care. Any concern was addressed immediately. It is far from a typical assisted living facility. It looks like a hotel and a very well maintained and CLEAN hotel. Our only regret was not being able to talk our mom into moving there earlier in her life. My brother, Will and I are eternally grateful for the care and compassionate help your staff gave to my mom.

This facility is fantastic. The entire place is warm and inviting. The staff is friendly, caring and always interested in how all the residents are doing. The know everyone by name, and make a point to say hello. It is such a wonderful place for a person to live out their senior years.

We moved my 99 y.o. Mom here in April 2017. We could not be happier w, staff, activities, care and all around cleanliness and upkeep of this remarkable place. We couldnt have made a better choice for her. Even though she was very reluctant to leave her home she has made new friends and participates in lots of activities and outings.
