Overall, it’s the owner, causing the issues… only fixing things to the bare minimum so that he passes HUD’s code enforcement. Plus people parking in areas they’re not allowed to park and thinking they themselves have every right to do so, from IHSS workers to entitled old people and rude family that comes to visit. People who live here always have to park on the other side of the complex and double park to unload quickly. If a simple parking arrangement was designed and enforced it would be better and improve people’s morale here. Also the maintenance men here are extremely half fast and fix things to the bare minimum… there’s not enough maintenance workers here to fix all that needs to fixed so tenants go without maintenance issues being resolved. Honestly until things are implemented and changed properly this will change from a 3 out of 5 rating.

The manager here has eliminated all “fun, social” activities. The community room was closed during COVID and she refuses to open it, for our daily use, the way it was before COVID. She removed patio tables from yard, so folks have no place to gather for social activities. She has eliminated Thanksgiving and Christmas and 4th of July pot luck dinners. Can’t freely browse the library we used to have. She is rude to everyone who lives here, and many are afraid of her. She is known to lie to residents about rules, and has lied to her supervisor. She is rude to new residents who ask questions. Has sent out notice to not knock on her office door, but to call for appointment. Finally, many apartments here have had leaking roofs, (ceilings) for years, with no successful repairs. From this manager’s track record for 5 years, a person could easily conclude that she dislikes Seniors, and had no respect for them. She obviously feel entitled to treat everyone she comes in contact with rudely and with disdain.
