Hi there! Time for a review of “The Park Modesto!” I can’t say enough good things about the independent living situation our 91 year old dad has.. The staff, Jennifer, Sherry, Kayla, Peter Collette and Cheryl immediately come to mind along with everyone is fantastic as well! The food at the Montecelo and Bistro is right up there with any restaurant in the area.. and at a much cheaper price! It’s all included in the monthly cost! I get invited by the residents to play card games with them.. especially the Friday night games they play.. it’s funny, some call me kid and I’m 60! Boy are they funny! The best part is the residents all know each other through the many / daily activities at the park! They take care of each other and welcome in anybody new! The staff sets that tone by how well they treat people! I can’t say how many times times I’ve heard.. “we’re all in the same situation, so make the best if it! Much of that comes from the entire staff who just “makes it happen” for the residents!! The cost.. I figured out my parents monthly bills before we put dad out there! After adding in utilities, taxes, insurance, food and all of those other costs, it was only a few hundred dollars more.. knowing he’s taken care of, gets great food and is having a great time with great people is well worth putting him what’s easily considered the best independent living in the valley! I've lived at The Park at Modesto for two and a half years The staff and all the residents are family to me. I love all the avtivites; dining and outtungs! So happy to be here

At The Park in Modesto I have developed a strong sense of community with Staff and residents. Fundamental to this experience is the understanding and caring from the Koelsch staff of the needs of a senior. Their daily greeting, friendly smiles and remembrance all contribute to building a sense of community. Here at the Park where there are plenty of activities and services we feel engaged and secure. I highly recommend the Park as well as other Koelsch communities.

This place is amazing! My mom was really sad to leave her home and we weren’t sure if we were making the right decision but now after living here for 4 months she has no desire to go back! The employees and residents are the kindest people I have ever met and the food is amazing. It’s like a cruise ship on land! When I walk in to visit, it feels like Cheers where everybody know your name. I can’t say enough about the Park!

My mom loves living in her luxury apartment at The Park! She’s living there in a 2 bedroom plus den with 2 bathrooms since August, 2021. The staff takes amazing care of her, especially Jennifer! She helped my mom find the perfect apartment to live in. The food is delicious at the dining room and at The Bistro. And her apartment gets cleaned for her weekly! She’s safe, too. From start to finish, an amazing experience! Due to home repair, we took up temporary residence at The Park - what a treat! The staff is welcoming & accommodating; the facility is beautiful and well-kept and our apartment was homey and comfortable. I cannot say enough about the awesome amenities and the professionalism of the organization and staff - we plan to make this our retirement home when the times comes!

My father was one of the very first residents at the Park, and he absolutely loves it! It’s like resort living - beautiful grounds and facility, with many amenities for residents to keep active, and a very attentive staff. He has recommended the Park to several people at his former senior residence, and they also have moved to the Park. My father has made a lot of new friends, and has even taken up bridge! The Park has been the best place for my father!

I have looked at several Koelsch Communities and I can truly say that The Park in Modesto does not disappoint. The facility itself is beautiful and inviting, but most important the staff were exceptional. They were not only knowledgeable and helpful, they CARED about MY needs. It was also evident that they loved their jobs and were sincere in their actions. I would not hesitate to put my family member in their hands.

We moved our mom in a couple months ago to be closer to us still have her independence. She has met some wonderful friends started playing bridge again after many years. She says, it feels like shes on a cruise ship! The attention to detail the wonderful staff, always being so helpful to her us as we are experiencing all the amenities you have to offer! Job well done!

My Mom just moved in to the Park. The facility is lovely, the attention to details puts this residence in the top tier! We were lucky to have dinner in the dinning room 3 times, exquiste flavors and beautiful presentation, service was spot on, attentive without hovering. The staff is friendly and helpful. But the residence was chosen because of the security and safety offered the residents, the 2 BEST things about The Park! WELL DONE!!
