I can’t say enough great things about the Carie in concierge and Selene in activities. The concierge is always kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful. The activities assistant brings so much joy and enthusiasm to every event ” you can tell they genuinely care. Together, they create such a warm and inviting environment. We’re so grateful for everything they do!

Although I didn’t have any family members living at Dale Commons, I worked with them through an outside agency and we shared several mutual residents. Through that experience, I got to see firsthand how the staff treats the people in their care. The team was always kind, responsive, and truly seemed to care about the residents’ well-being. Anytime we needed to coordinate care or communicate about a resident, they were helpful and easy to work with. It was clear they were committed to making sure residents felt safe, comfortable, and supported. The environment at Dale is warm and inviting. I often saw residents enjoying activities and spending time together. It feels like a place where people are not just looked after, but genuinely cared for. From a professional standpoint, I’ve been impressed and feel confident recommending this community to anyone looking for a quality assisted living.

Most people are very nice and helpful. However the food needs A LOT of work. I was told they are able to accommodate my special dietary needs, sever lactose intolerance, but was told by kitchen twice that they don’t have to accommodate me only if they feel like it and want to be nice. I only eat at the dinner hour and selection for dinner is poor, better at lunch,but I have appointments during day(gym). Also was told no rate increase for a year but after 6 weeks they all of sudden developed a new base rate and our rate went up a couple Gunther after a year another rate increase. Of Dale commons want to take the next step they need to improve the food sectionn. Dale Commons come in do better I know you can.

My mom has lived at Dale Commons for 13 months and is very content and calls it home. There’s no pressure from the staff to do any of the activities she doesn’t want to do; that was a concern of ours since mom is not very social. When she wants to join an activity there are many to choose from. She likes to play games, go on day trips, and listen to the entertainment the facility has on Fridays! The staff is by far the best! You walk in and get a smile and a Hello! They are always helpful to answer any question I might have. Every staff member I’ve come across has been caring and nice. I only have good things to say about them! They have become friends. Mom has made some really nice friends while eating in the dining room. She loves dessert and her friends tease her about it. It’s great to see her smile and laugh with others. I think back when she lived in a house all alone, her life was very empty; she has friends now. Priceless! Since my mom is doing so well here it makes my life less stressful. I don’t have reasons to worry about her because I trust the staff with her well-being. That’s tremendous!

Dale Commons! Beautiful, feels like home with a great community of seniors who get the opportunity to fellowship and build new relationships! It’s the only community that has a fitness instructor who comes in! Social Dining is amazing and food is delicious and it’s in a perfect location in Modesto! You can’t go wrong! Professional! Easy to work with and makes your loved ones feel right at home!

I couldn’t have found a better home for Dad than at Dale Commons. I toured every facility in the local area and Dale Commons was the superior choice for our family. The facility grounds are beautiful and spacious, the dining room has a full menu selection similar to a restaurant, and the staff are the most personable and caring healthcare workers I’ve encountered. Michelle Gonzalez was the most professional, friendly and hospitable assisted living Director I spent time with in my search for the right home for my father. And make sure you try her famous cookies, no joke.. they’re the best cookies I’ve ever had! I continue to be impressed with Dale Commons after 4 months of residency and my Dad is loving life in this community and actively working out in the facility gym with the on-site personal trainer Crystal. When you walk into the main lobby of Dale Commons, it feels like a resort with uplifting vibes. The staff knows every patient by name and treats everyone with the utmost of respect. The other facilities that I interviewed in town left me with a depressed feeling during my visits, but not Dale Commons. Even the residents are all cheerful & friendly, and there is always engaging activities for Dad to join in on. I never write reviews but I truly couldn’t be more impressed with Dale Commons and highly recommend placing your elder loved ones in this community when the time comes. You will not find a cleaner and more welcoming facility in the Central Valley with highly competitive rates that we’re far better than anywhere else quoted me. It’s never easy to make this kind of move for your loved one, but Dale Commons made this the most pleasant experience I could have imagined. 10/10!

My mom resided at Dale Commons for over 6 years. She had a comfortable life there, was well-cared for and made friends with other residents and staff. I felt reassured that she had quality care the entire time and witnessed nothing but a friendly, clean, organized facility with the most incredible staff that gave my mom wonderful care. Dale Commons has a one of kind atmosphere. The minute you walk in to be greeted by the amazing front desk staff. Staff from dining and care team all with smiles and sweet hellos. The whole team is so welcoming and make it enjoyable to be around.

I can't say enough positive things regarding my experience with Dale Commons. My job entails visiting and working directly with many facilities in this area, and Larry and his staff are comfortably some of the easiest people I've had the pleasure of working with. They are courteous, attentive, and welcoming. The grounds and structures are well maintained, and their residents seem happy and well cared for. I wouldn't hesitate to place a loved one at Dale Commons.
