This has turned out to be a wonderful move for my dad. There are many activities and he can be as busy as he wants. It is lovely to have his apartment tidied up every day. We were cautious about moving dad but this has turned out to be wonderful for him. I swear it seems like every staff member knows him and both staff and other tenants are extremely friendly and helpful. I am recommending Bethel to all my friends who have elderly parents.

The care our Dad received from the staff at Bethel was incredible. He lived there the last 5 years of his life and passed away at the young age of 99 1/2. We are so thankful for their heart-felt assistance in all areas of his life.

Bethel has brought us peace of mind knowing our loved one is safe and cared for. From my very first visit to see the facilities to this day 7 months later, we have been treated with respect and have seen the professional, compassionate care of all the staff towards the residents. Elizabeth Azlin was extremely informative and helpful from the beginning in walking us through this new experience and made the move-in transition smooth and as easy as it could be. Our family member is in the Memory Unit where Maria has been my go to person for every question and concern. Her calm attentive demeanor contributes to the sense of peace and reassurance that our loved one is in the right place. I have come to consider much of the staff as friends. I am often in and out and see all that they do to care for the residents and know how uniquely challenging their jobs can be. They handle it with grace and positivity and I cannot say enough how much I appreciate them. I highly recommend Bethel as a home for family members requiring this type of care.

I recently placed my mom in the independent side of Bethel. She loves the residents and the staff! Getting her at Bethel was an easy process. Residents and staff welcomed her with love and compassion. The landscaping is beautiful and provides a safe and scenic place to walk. The activity room and dining room overlook the landscaping and pool which makes it very inviting. I enjoy living at Bethel Retirement. I've made many new friends and enjoy all of the Activities. I have a 1 bedroom and I got to bring my cat Sammy with me. The staff is nice and help me when I need it. The grounds are beautiful and I love going for walks around the campus and they have a huge pool that I plan to go in this summer. Overall I love it here!

I have had several occasions to have personal interaction with Bethel Retirement Community over the years. I have had family members and friends that have lived here and loved Bethel. I recently have had a very close and dear friend move into Bethel. The attention, kindness and respect that she has received by Elizabeth Azlin has been a huge comfort to me as I am not able to be there to help her with this transition. Elizabeth has really gone the extra mile to make sure my friend is feeling comfortable and safe and welcomed into her new community. I have experienced this kind of close Family environment every time I have had any involvement with Bethel Retirement Community . I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a loving, caring and respectful community.

Bethel Retirement Community was the perfect choice for our parents. They were at the stage of their lives where they needed more help and Bethel and the caregivers provided that in a professional and very caring way. Our parents loved living at Bethel. We appreciated the entire team at Bethel in the way they responded when needed, cared for our parents, and worked with us as the family. Everyone was so helpful. This included reception, maintenance, dining staff, the medical tech staff, the caregivers and especially the Executive Director of Assisted Living, Sara Poulos. Sara was amazing. She kept the family in the loop on things that needed attention or a decision, she was always understanding, comforting and caring when it came to working with our parents and their needs as those changed over time. As it happened, our parents ended up spending the last year of their lives at Bethel. We were so grateful for everyone there and the attention they brought to caring for our parents. As they reached the end and we brought in hospice, everyone at Bethel worked together to make it a seamless transition. Sara was so helpful in coordinating things, working with us and showing us such consideration and care at a very emotional time. Even after our parents passing, Sara and everyone at Bethel, including the Public Relations Director Elizabeth Azlin, continued to work with us and help in so many ways to make things as smooth and trouble-free as possible. I can't say enough good things about our experience with Executive Director Sara and all the personnel at Bethel Retirement Community. Thank you so much!

hi, after calling 53 retirement facilities making a spreadsheet of our wishes and asking many questions our 3 daughters narrowed their choices down to 4 places. our oldest daughter and husband walked into bethel retirement community and they called the rest of the family the message was: WE FOUND MOM AND DADS HOME a week later we checked it out. people we met said we would like it here and we do.no meals to cook no dishes to wash. what blew me away they get the laundry 2 hours later its washed and folded. super helpful friendly staff. i don't know where they find so many friendly caring people if you are mobile the morning exercise will keep you this way. there are stores to walk to.scenic drives,lots of fun activities i even go to painting on saturdays.the food is first class.lots of happy and smiling people we love it here david and renate betanc

This past year during the Covid-19 Pandemic, I had the most wonderful experience of being a pen pal to several residents of the Bethel Retirement Community in Modesto. What a rewarding and delightful experience it was to get to know these two seniors through our weekly letters back and forth. It became apparent to me early on that this place they called "home" was a wonderful community of loving people both residents and staff. Both of my pen pals knew each of the staff by name, and when they described their daily activities and events, it was clear that everyone who worked there was involved and truly interested in their residents. One of my pen pals was a bit of a foodie and she described many of the delicious meals they enjoyed, and it sounded like a gourmet restaurant! If you are looking for a senior community for a loved one where they will be loved and treated like family, you should really check out Bethel!
