I recently had a hospital stay and, when it came time for rehab, the hospital recommended Vasona Creek Health Center. I looked at a few different options in the area, but Vasona Creek seemed like the best fit. Looking back, I’m glad I chose them. The transition from the hospital to Vasona Creek was smooth and well coordinated. It was clear that the hospital team and Vasona Creek communicated well with each other, which made the process much less stressful.... What impressed me most was the quality of care and the overall environment. The rooms and common areas are clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The rehab department is excellent, and the therapists genuinely cared about helping me regain my strength and independence. What really makes Vasona Creek stand out, though, is the people. Every day I was treated with kindness, respect, and patience. I would especially like to recognize Diane, Henry, and Hue for always going above and beyond. Nurse Christine was wonderful and provided exceptional care, and I definitely can't forget Rudy, who always brought a positive attitude and made my days brighter. I also want to thank Mark and Omar from administration. It meant a lot that they took the time to check in on me regularly and make sure everything was going well. Those small gestures made me feel valued as a person, not just another patient. Recovering after a hospital stay isn't easy, but the team at Vasona Creek made the experience as comfortable and positive as possible. If you or a loved one need skilled nursing or rehabilitation services, I would absolutely recommend Vasona Creek Health Center!

Despite being to many other centers, vasona stood out the most to us and my father. My father was very happy with his stay and the staff and nurses showed so much care for him.

I am currently a patient here and good and bad 1. Food is bad most of time you can’t tell what it is 2. Nurses are scares. A few goods one on top of everything especially with meds then they bring in contracted nurses who take forever not sure why they don’t have all the meds already sorted and a 2nd nurse would be of great help 3 they are never on time with meals 4. PT and OT are great I actually enjoyed my times with them At this time I have no weight bearing but I so want out out of here asap At least so I can get my meds on time Not the best not the worse Claudia and Ms Joy great people

My Father is a current patient at Vasona Creek and I’m making a heartfelt review about the admissions director Omar Rumero. I heard how he talks to other patients and he is very kind and passionate about his job. I appreciate all the good services and discussions that we’ve had, he has done an excellent job! I also want to highlight how full of life the facility is with engaging activities and a top quality rehab team. I have visited a nearby skilled nursing facility and I wasn’t impressed - Very disappointing with ridiculous fees for a private room. Choose Vasona for all your skilled nursing needs. A plus: Omar and the team worked very well with the hospital and the whole process was just wonderful!

Once you get to know the lvn's and nurses they treat you really good and the physical therapy and occupation therapy are great and the memory care is amazing for only having one person who does it for all the patients that need it the place is always clean and I appreciate my stay to recover after surgery and I almost didn't make it out of surgery so I needed to learn everything again last but not least the activity team is amazing from bingo to chair yoga and arts and crafts plus games I would like to say thank you Vasona creek Healthcare

I recommend Vasona! I took my dad here after he had a fall and hurt his hip. The staff were super friendly and nice, but most of all, my dad was more than happy with the service and attention they provided for him.

I’m so thankful for the care my dad received at Vasona Creek after his stroke. The therapists were fantastic, working with him patiently and organizing his recovery plan to help him regain his strength and confidence. The nursing staff was truly wonderful”kind and attentive, making sure he was comfortable and well-cared for throughout his stay. The facility was clean and welcoming, which made a big difference. The CNAs were all attentive and available when needed. I highly recommend Vasona Creek to anyone needing rehabilitation services. They really made a positive impact on my dad's recovery!

The level of service here is phenomenal. Every member of staff genuinely cares about the people living here, and take care of each individual -- like my uncle -- with so much attention to detail and care. Would definitely recommend, very organized and efficient while still operating with empathy and real human compassion. My uncle has never been on a better track. 5/5 🙂

In reading some of the negative reviews, I have to say I’m a little confused. My mom was admitted just last week, and I’ve been visiting every evening during the weekdays. In all that time, I haven’t seen a single unfriendly face or unkind gesture. My mom who is very vocal when something isn’t right hasn’t had a single complaint. From what I’ve seen, the staff have been caring, attentive, and welcoming.

Not a good rehab facility. Great patient bed care, we commend the nurses and CNAs and their services. Unfortunately, rehab for my Mom who had a right hip replacement was almost non existent for the 7 weeks she was there. Her surgeon was shocked and very disappointed my Mom can't even stand on her own much less walk, the very reason why she was sent to the facility after discharge from GoodSam.

I had the pleasure of entrusting my mother to the nursing care home for two weeks, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. Kumar, a caring and professional employee, went above and beyond to ensure my mother's well-being. His kindness and dedication truly made a difference. The facility provided top-notch care, creating a safe and nurturing environment. I highly recommend this nursing care home, especially with individuals like Kumar on staff.

Clean facility with more than enough staff to take care of the residents/patients. This place is well maintained and has no urine smell and seems to be getting a refresh on decor and paint. Everyone is friendly and diligently working. I just wish there was a patio with sun to sit outside like other places. Thankfully this is for a short rehab visit. Given the limited choices under Kaiser, this is a very good place. 4.5 stars for the facility and 5 stars for the care. I just wish the common areas were bigger.

My mother was recently hospitalized for a fall and needed rehab following her hip replacement. I personally wanted to thank Neha and the CNA's for checking in frequently on me and my mom. The Staff are hardworking and dedicated to making sure my family was well taken care of. If you are looking for a rehab center that cares this is the place.
