This facility is a little older. They do not have 24 hour security so do not choose if your family member may wander around late nights. But a good facility overall.

Hacienda Grande was a really nice place, but it was too small. The building was fine, but it didn't have enough residents there. Everybody was fine and very friendly. There was a little room where they were having their coffee clutch, but there were only three people in there with their caregiver. The grounds were fine, and the location was fine. I take public transportation, but I didn't have any problem. Another thing I didn't care for was that it was on a hill. It was very clean.

My Mom just moved into Hacienda Grande four days ago. Although a huge adjustment in her life, I think her new residence will work fine for her. The administrator in charge, Marianne Hodel, is super - professional, experienced, and very available whenever I have a question. The staff is friendly and cheerful; my only complaint might be that some of them speak English in very heavy accents that are not always understandable for my mother. The facility is secure, offers several amenities for a variety of the residents' conditions, and the atmosphere is pleasant. For us, the location could not be more ideal. We are very happy with our choice.

My cousin has been in Hacienda Grande for four months now. We chose it because of its cleanliness, its proximity to his family, and the services that he needs. It is appropriate in size, and they provide a full menu of services. He is an alcoholic, and they don't have happy hour. I think the food is adequate. They have daily activities in terms of coffee and games. They have road trips to shopping and restaurants. They are very consistent on that. I haven't had a meal, but probably it can a little better. I don't hear my cousin jumping up and down about it either, because he is anxious to go out. However, their management of medication is outstanding, and he is happy there.
