I’m a new resident here and so far I have not seen or found anything unusual or negative. The admitting process was very smooth the administrator personally handled my intake which was very thoughtful as it took longer than anticipated to travel to get here. The food is good and actually has flavor, the rooms are clean and comfortable with your own bathroom in each room / wheelchair accessibility available They have plenty of activities and free WiFi though depending on what room you’re in determines signal quality. I’m going to try and find a solution to this issue besides eating up my own data every day. The caregivers and other staff really seem to care. Of course time will reveal everything,but so far I feel I made a great choice when choosing GlenPark@ LB. I truly believe that it’s a great place to bring a family member who needs more care than you know how to give. Plenty of activities everyday and field trips around town. As I get to know the staff better I will give them their props in my next review maybe after 90 days This review has not been updated in a while as I’m going on 2 years living here in July; truth be told, my decision to move to Glen Park was one of the best life decisions I have ever made. Yes there are occasional hiccups in the day to day operations but it can all be worked out as long as the resident realizes they are getting much more considering all the services that are received. If you want to set up a family member here to live you would be making a good decision. Trust and believe that I would have found some other place to live if I wasn’t getting so much out of every dollar spent here at Glen Park Long Beach

I would give a 0 if I could. I have been promised by many employees over the years they would notify me if my father is sent to the hospital and they NEVER call me. He was sent this morning It is midnight and the only reason I found out he was sent is because the hospital finally called me. My father is almost 90 if he passes my fear is one day he will pass away and I won't find out. I live in another state they know that but still dont think I should be notified. Recently a new employee called me and asked me aout my experiences with the facility she even asked me if I get notified when my father ends up in the hospital I told her you guys never call she promised it wouldnt happen again. WTH I guess her word means nothing

I would like to express my gratitude for this facility. Staff are competent, and have quality, and unique plans for providing health care plan to their patients. They are approachable and hospitable. In the facility, they have a clean and comfortable room. Overall, I would highly recommend Glen Park Senior Living in Long beach. Because they value their patient and take good care of their patient like their own family.

This place is very pleasant. They were very professional and caring to my family member as well as my family. I believe they provide much needed care to those that can't take care of themselves. I would certainly trust them to take care of loved ones in the future

When I last visited my loved one the staff was very kind to me and others. The place was clean and cheerful. Its not always easy to care for a senior who may be a little confused or unable to care about the rules and especially during the last 2 years.(ie sterile policy) These people are doing Gods work (The staff)

Just about one or two times a month I swing by to visit my family member. Love this place. Its clam and relaxing great vibe. Love the staff to. Nice and friendly always.
