I personally have 2 personal friends who reside at Brookedale loma linda and also visit frequently. The life enrichment director makes sure there is always an activity for the residents. His happy hour is always enjoyable, entertaining for residents. He goes above and beyond with his presentation in decorating the lobby for special events. I speak to many residents there and all I hear is positive feedback. He has a positive attitude and energetic.

We have my Mother in law there at Brookdale Loma Linda she’s been there 18 months, first she was In good health, then she got ill and now she is getting good care now. Brookdale is a good facility . The faculty there is very good, very caring .

OUTSTANDING! I have lived at this location for just over three years, and there is not a day that goes by that I don’t feel this has been one of the best decisions I have ever made! As with any business, the first impression generally sets the standard for how that business operates. During my initial visit to this location, I looked for certain signs that would let me know whether this was the right place for me. What I found when I entered the building was an organization with employees who greeted me as if they had known me for years. I also noticed that the residents I passed by were being treated with the same level of acceptance and appreciation. When I met a few employees throughout the building, I saw that they were smiling and socializing with each other as well as with the residents. A positive environment like that was a sign to me that this was the place I had been looking for”a place I could truly call home. When I finally decided that this was the right place for me, part of that decision came from meeting with the person in charge of the property. The person I met with was MARITZA LUJAN. I distinctly remember her entering the room where I was waiting, and she had the biggest smile while making direct eye contact. Those two qualities let me know that I had not only found the right place, but that she was also a strong leader. Her leadership helped explain why the employees I had encountered displayed those same qualities. My mom is very happy here. She is very well attended. She eats great with many menu choices and gets her apartment cleaned and laundry done weekly. She is independent, but can press the button on her neck for anything she needs and someone will come to her apartment to help her. She has the privacy of staying in her apartment when she wants to, or can join in with group activities every day of the week. She exercises with a group every morning and enjoys the companionship of the other residents. I have the luxury to come in and see her whenever I want and all of the employees are very friendly and welcoming.

I have lived at Brookdale for a year and a half. So far I have enjoyed living here with all the exceptional activities. I especially like taking care of the raised tomatoes bed out on our patio. There are also morning chair excersize activities, dances, harp entertainment as well singing. One of the most enjoyable activities is doing a monthly lunch outing. The staff makes living here a real joy.

This place is so amazing. The facility and staff are wonderful. I helped my aunt get into this facility in the beginning of January and we couldn’t be more pleased and grateful. The food is delicious and nutritious. The staff always goes above and beyond. We chose this location for many reasons but the location being so close to the Loma Linda medical facilities was a huge bonus.

Since [name removed] took over, at Brookdale, thefts have gone up, and she won't allow police to be called. She also shares YOUR MEDICAL INFORMATION, against HIPPA laws, with a resident. The food is also awful, except when 1 chef cooks. The Food Director is all ego, and NOT A GOOD COOK at all. Many, many people gave moved out because of her ineptitude! She even called services BECAUSE I SOLD MY CAR, to a young man who used to work there.

I have been searching for a home to place my grandfather in and absolutely overwhelmed at all the options. It's my first time having to deal with this so I was unclear on how everything worked. I made a phone call to Brookdale and spoke to a wonderful lady named Amber on the phone who was incredibly informative. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with her while she explained to me the benefits, amenities, and logistics of how everything worked for this community. Unlike the other phone calls I had placed to other places this one was incredibly genuine. I booked an appointment and can't wait to come and check this place out next week!

If your reading this, then you are looking for a place for loved one regarding Asissted Living, etc. When I first walked in, it has a very, very home feeling. The staff are all very friendly and I could see that the residents were being taken care of with love and caring. You will not be disappointed. When I've left messages the staff returns my call immediately. My Dad enjoyed the food. They had a menu at every table.i looked no further after touring Brookdale Loma Linda. They have great activities everyday. Please go and check them out.

Quality had fallen. Understaffed and over worked. Food is awful! Not according to ANY DIETARY needs. Press emergency pendant and wait MORE than 45 minutes for assistance. Two years were better all around.

I enjoy living here. I have made friends with many residents and staff. Both are kind and helpful. I enjoy many of the daily events such as the art classes, craft classes, the flex your brain group and crossword jams. The only thing I would change is more variety and more choices in the lunch and dinner menus

I have lived here for 3 1/2 years and have had a pleasant experience with the wonderful staff especially my nurse AJ . At first I was hesitant to Move from home but after my family’s motivation I tried it out and I am it so glad I did. The meals and daily help are very important to me . The employees go above and beyond to help me with my daily needs and wants . The location is great , everything is nearby and the views are nice . Transportation provided makes life easier .

I know the resident programs assistant Celina loves her job. She is friendly and helpful. She loves to organize activities. He prescience makes this place a diamond. Such employees are precious. They help make this establishment a joy for the residents and visitors alike. Kudos to the management for employing staff with hearts that are full of love for what they do.

Brookdale staff was wonderful when having to choose placing our loved one in their community. They were great and very helpful. The entire staff is great they assist each patient and treat them with respect. I would recommend them to any of my friends and family. They also made my family member comfortable and welcome which made the transition easier. My family member does love the place.

My 92 year old mother has now been at Brookdale for a little over 2 weeks and we are all very pleased, especially mom. I get enthusiastic calls from her regularly about all of the new things she’s tried or in which she has participated; 1st it was the food (very good and she enjoys the restaurant-style service), then numerous activities (some socials, brain teasers, international interests), but the real kicker was her first shower with help; she was a bit nervous anticipating this as she is normally a very private person. Well, she called me later that morning, I just had the most marvelous shower I’ve had in years! I got my hair washed, my back washed, and my feet washed; then she wrapped me in a big towel and patted me dry. My hat’s off to Brookdale for making her transition such a positive experience.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. However, the Dining room leaves a lot to be desired. Portion control is sloppy, presentation of the portions are inconsistent and the items on the menu and what is served or available do not always agree.

My mom has been there for almost three weeks so far. And I will say- So far, So good. It is clean... smells good. There are activities for the residents including exercise and outings. The staff has been - if not perfect- pretty good! They have been mostly responsive to everything we have asked for.. There are lots of opportunities for the residents to participate in what is going on from Menu chat with the head chef to craft and hobby times. Lovely library and computer room upstairs..
