Having a loved one with Alzheimers is an extremely difficult, stressful and a sad time for all involved. My mother was diagnosed several years ago. Finding her good care was indeed very difficult. We moved her to Crestavilla Memory Care two months ago and I am grateful. Norma and her staff are wonderful. It is clear that Norma cares very much about her job, staff and residents. She has been absolutely wonderful! She truly cares for my mother, her happiness, and our family as a whole. Her and her staff are professional, patient, and caretaking. We appreciate and value everything Norma and the staff do on a daily basis. Thank you very much for making a difficult journey a better one. Blessings to you all.

Crestavilla is by far the best place in orange county for memory care. It is a beautiful facility with good excellent amenities and food. My mother had lived here for her last years and the entire staff was excellent. Norma Martinez, who heads memory care, has been responsive, responsible, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. She made sure my mother lived the absolute best last years possible. Thank you Norma and Crestavilla.

Both of my grandparents stayed at Crestavilla the past 2 years and I can't speak highly enough about this community!! Our family is so grateful they were able to be at such a wonderful facility in their final years. The staff, ambiance, dining, decor, location is all top notch. I want to specifically mention the manager Gundula. She went above and beyond in every way possible and made our experience that much more special. My sisters, parents and I researched so many different Memory Care facilities all over Orange County. My parents were resistant to move out of their home and were very particular because they didn't want to move to a place that looked like a hospital or institution. Every place they toured, they said it wasn't for them. When they toured Crestavilla, my parents finally felt happy with the setting. My father called Crestavilla "The Club" because it is like a resort. It is beautiful! My mother and father moved in January 2020. My father passed away a year later and my mother is still a resident to this day in 2023. We are so pleased with the care she is receiving.The staff is so friendly, the meals are wonderful, and the activities and excursions are entertaining. Norma, the new director of Memory Care is very knowledgeable and has increased the quality of care the residents receive. One of the main reasons we chose Crestavilla and why it appealed to my parents is its "non-clinical" setting. This is not a skilled nursing facility (SNF), though they provide excellent care for my mother who is now in hospice as her dementia has progressed. When we have taken her out to our homes for family parties or special occasions, she is eager to return to her "home". That is testimony that she is happy and feels safe where she is at!

I can't say enough amazing things about Crestavilla, from the ambiance, the food, and the activities, but the best part about Crestavilla is the amazing staff. I always feel welcome when I arrive by the valet then the front desk staff, the food staff, medication team, maintenance team, and the director go above and beyond to make sure my dad is well taken care of. I will always be grateful to Crestavilla for bringing life back into my father. After just a few months at Crestavilla my dad started living again and enjoying life. Thank you crestavilla. My husband and I are both retired physicians, and I am writing this review in hopes of helping others to get the same outstanding care that we have received from Crestavilla memory care unit. I was no longer able to take care of my husband who has Alzheimer's disease with inability to perform many basic functions. I was reluctant to contact facilities because of the many problems that so many of them have. I feel so fortunate to have found Crestavilla. Our experience there has been so comforting, compassionate, and helpful. Norma, the Director of the unit, is involved at a personal level with all residents and employees. She made the admissions process simple, found moving help, ordered necessary supplies, etc. She is always available with her door open to solve problems, answer questions, and provide support. She is an extremely competent Director. All of the staff are compassionate and competent. They are skilled, hard-working, and their care is from the heart The activities Director is lively, creative and involved. There are activities, entertainment, exercise class, and yoga available throughout the days as well as outings each week. The food is excellent with personal attention to each resident's special-needs. The atmosphere is positive and supportive like a large family. Guests and family are welcome and there are so many amenities at Crestavilla like restaurants with gourmet food, a movie theater, Pool, a game room, a cafe, a Monarch butterfly hatchery, a putting green, and other things that make it fun for family to visit. Medical care is readily available, which allows problems to be caught early and treated. For example, my husband had a pneumonia, and urinary tract infection, which were treated right away. The unit is very careful about preventing bedsores and pressure point problems. Crestsvilla administrative staff provided a delightful welcoming party and we used them to host a very successful birthday party for my husband's 94th birthday with gourmet food, balloons, etc. I am very grateful for all that Crestavilla has done for us and I hope that this review will help guide you to the care you need.

I love working at Crestavilla its a great work place and it gives me the opportunity to create and serve high-end meals to our dear residents.We create menus based on seisons, resident requests and often residents family recipes. We use fresh and high quality ingredients in our day to day meals. Everything is made to order, no bulk cafeteria style food is served at Crestavilla.Personally I love the fact that I have the freedom to write customized menus and to unleash my creativity inorder to serve the best meals to our residents and their families.Im the Executive Chef at Crestavilla and I could not be happier with the work place I am at.

As a guest at many events over the past several months at Crestavilla, I see that the residents are actively engaged and having fun. It is a pleasure to bring my clients to this signature community, where I know they will have a better quality of life and treated with such kindness, dignity, and respect. The staff is uncommonly warm and welcoming, always smiling and accommodating for their treasured residents. It is obvious to me they love their position in this community and work tirelessly to make their people feel at home. It would impossible to be grumpy and live in an environment like this! My aunt and I were delighted when we discovered the new assisted living facility, Crestavilla. When we toured, we honestly thought it was too good to be true! The property is above and beyond anything we have seen, 5 star. The furnishings, decor and art are beautiful, right down to the incredible fresh flower arrangements. The rooftop has a beautiful view of Laguna Niguel and offers several activities including gardening, star gazing and bird watching.The staff is professional, friendly and most important, know the residents by name and treat them with dignity and genuine concern about their well being. I have been treated with kindness and feel welcome when I come to visit. The food is delicious and fresh and I look joining my aunt for a meal when I visit instead of going out.My aunt has been living at Crestavilla since July and is thriving! Shesmaking friends and loves the abundance of quality musical entertainment and activities they offer. She loves the theatre and promises to start water aerobics soon. I rarely write reviews, but Crestavilla has gone above and beyond and deserves recognition!

We found this place for Mom & Dad after it became too hard for them to climb stairs in their house. I have to say it was a stroke of luck and good fortune. The staff is extremely professional, courteous, and caring. They make you feel comfortable about your decision to place family at Crestavilla. True to their word, we can be the kids and they are the caregivers. The facility is outstanding and the activities and amenities are diverse and top-of-the-line. We have no qualms about the care our parents receive and we can see it in their faces and hear it in their voices.Crestavillas response to COVID-19 has been nothing short of outstanding. While its difficult to only talk on the phone, we know they are safe from the virus. The precautions and protocols that have been implemented have kept all the residents safe and healthy.Crestavilla is a great community and we are thankful the Mom & Dad can reside there, knowing they are safe and well cared for around the clock.

Just about two years ago I came to tour the community. My daughter and I met with Caitrin who guided the tour and invited us to lunch. This was my first contact with Crestvilla. She was delightful and knowledgeable and professional. She learned that I liked hershey kisses and border collies and arranged a bucket of kisses and photo of a border collie to be placed in the room she exhibited. We were very impressed and I considered the likelihood of residency as I matured.Early this summer as I sought to leave Palm Springs heat, I made contact again to determine if I could spend the summer. She gleefully indicated yes.My next contact was Sandi for contract signing and she was likewise charming and knowledgeable and also most professional. I have encountered her many times while at Crestavilla and always sensed the caring and warmth she exhibits. I must say that I am most impressed with the team who work here.

My sisters and I are so happy with our choice to place our parents in Crestavilla. Both of them have dementia (Mom has FTD and dad, Alzheimers). Since they were not able to stay home anymore we spent a lot of time researching senior living facilities in the OC area. Since the first day in January 2020, we believe they are in the best hands possible. Crestavillas staff is amazing. Gundula is a Godsend and is available 247. Their in-house doctor visits them every Friday. The care staff is compassionate and patient. The food and beverages are top notch. The architecture and interior design of the buildings makes us proud to show where are parents are now living.Of course COVID hit in mid-March and the facility had to pivot to keep all residents safe. They have been wonderful making concessions and organizing FaceTime calls and window visits. Although we are saddened that our parents cant leave the facility on excursions like before, they have really made it extra special for them by hosting educational happy hours and exotic meals as if they were traveling all the sandy beaches on earth. We look forward to the day we can return to a new normal, but we feel secure in knowing our parents are being loved and cared for.

If you have a family member who needs a home away from home then Crestavilla is the place to be.My parents have been there for nine months and every staff member treats them like they are their parents.The atmosphere is cheerful and the happy hours are second to none. Francis is very creative in organizing special events for the residents. The attendance is fantastic and the audience walks away with a feeling of happiness.The nursing staff and caregivers make me comfortable knowing that my parents are in good hands Brian Keys the Executive Director and Deborah Suarez ,Assistant Director,I call them the dynamic duo, run a great ship and are always willing to listen to suggestions from the residents ,staff ,and family members.ou never have to worry about your loved ones going hungry.They have a diverse menu and the food is flavorful and well prepared .Last but not least,when you walk into the building the front desk staff is the best in the business making you feel welcome and trying to assist you in whatever way they can.Ive toured alot of assisted living places with my parents and not one comes close toCrestavilla.You wont be disappointed.Bernie S.
