My mom has been living at Atria Golden Creek for several years now, and our family is really grateful we found this place. Before she moved in, we looked at quite a few communities around Orange County, but Golden Creek stood out right away. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive. They really treat the residents like family, and you can see that in the way they talk to everyone and check in on them. Every time I visit my mom, the atmosphere feels warm and positive. There are also a lot of activities going on all the time. My mom stays busy with events, social gatherings, and outings, which has made a big difference for her. She’s made friends and always seems to have something fun to look forward to. Another thing we noticed right away is how clean and well kept everything is. The community is comfortable, welcoming, and honestly doesn’t feel like a facility. It really feels like home for her, and that gives our family a lot of peace of mind.

My mother has been a resident for over one year and she is actively enjoying her life at 103. She enjoys selecting from the activities to join her new friends exercising, playing cards, bingo, and movies. The residents are usually active seniors, but some are able bodied adults who enjoy the delicious food available during dining hours in the restaurant or from the bistro throughout the day. My favorite is grilled salmon with pesto sauce. The residents and staff are very friendly and helped my mother feel at home. Much thanks to the staff at Atria Golden Creek in Irvine for their care and excellent service.

I just wanted to recognize the wonderful staff at Atria Golden Creek. We feel very blessed to have such a nice facility for Dad to call home. This is a great community with people for Dad to talk to. He loves the food (Thank you Andrew) and the activities arranged by Nicole. Able and Mo have been great making sure that Dad's personal needs are taken care of. Nany and Annahi always make sure he gets his medications on time and call whenever there are any issues. Myra makes sure everything is coordinated and Phil has been there to help us resolve issues.

As others have stated before me, it is very difficult to single people out for praise at this facility. My mother Karen has been living at Atria Golden Creek for about a year and a half now. At first she was reluctant about leaving the comfort of her own home and living in a community environment like Atria. After trying it for three months she has never regretted making the decision to move here. What I like most about the Atria Golden Creek employees is they all work together to get the job done even if it isn't their specific job. I am not able to pick just one or two people to applaud. My wife and I visit my mother daily around 4pm and share stories with other residents of the days activities. I would like to recognize the following people for their going above and beyond what I would expect from them in caring for my mother. First "shout out" goes to Laura Ayala. Laura is the primary caregiver for my mother during the day. My mother always says Laura is her favorite. Another caregiver that deserves recognition is her nighttime caregiver Nany Griesinger. Nany is always keeping us aware of anything mom needs to make her stay more comfortable. Nicole Brady for her dedication to keeping all the residents involved in activities. My mom is legally blind and very hard of hearing. Her favorite game every day is Bingo. I have been there watching several times without Nicole knowing and I was very impressed with the time and care she gives everyone to make sure they are involved with the games and activities. Parniyan Reshad for her attention to detail while working at the front reception desk until recently when she was given a promotion and reassignment. Even though Parniyan is not working the front desk anymore she still can be seen throughout the community helping wherever she can. Since my wife and I visit on a daily basis around 4pm we spend a lot of time in the Bistro area playing cards and visiting with my mom. Over the past year and a half there have been several employees that have worked in the Bistro but recently the employee that stands out working there is Israel Yanez. Israel is always working with a smile and always attending to whatever anyone wants. Israel is mature beyond his years and is a real asset to the community. Rolando Galara gets my vote for his making all residents feel like the bell of the ball when he dances with them on Fridays. What great moves. How could I end this without recognizing Andrew for overseeing the wonderful meals that are prepared there. Thank you Tracy Williams for taking care of maintenance at Golden Creek. Thank you Phill Barklow for making the environment at Golden Creek a pleasant place to work. A Bigger Thank You to those employees not mentioned by name but who are obviously responsible for making Atria Golden Creek what it is today.

Atria Golden Creek is an incredible place! I am a very particular person when it comes to evaluating the quality of care in residential settings because of my prior employment for over 20 years in the field of social work. When my mother had a stroke over two years ago, it was necessary to seek alternative living arrangements as she was no longer considered safe to be living on her own. When looking at various living options, Atria Golden Creek was "it" as soon as we toured the place...To this day, neither Mom nor I have ever questioned that decision. I can never reach her by phone during the day as she's always downstairs playing something or other...Bingo, Uno, Horse-racing, or participating in the numerous games or exercise activities offered throughout each day. The food served is also great...My mother has actually gained weight since moving there, and I can rest assured she's always eating nutritious and tasteful meals. Mom has frequently said that she feels respected, safe and well cared for by all of the staff members, and that "Everyone calls me by name!" (I think that's a very positive endorsement as my mother does not yet require the need for paid assistance.) I know there are many staff members to recognize as going above and beyond, but I'd like to offer a special thanks to Nicole, Cindy, Myra, Chef Andrew, Parniyan and Chantel.
