My grandma has lived here for 3 years I come by twice weekly and the staff is always so friendly the bistro is always stocked for the residents the lobby is well designed and clean. They make sure my grandma has everything she needs!

I have found the perfect home for me within 3 miles of where I have lived in Irvine for 35 years. The staff is very courteous and professional. They are honest and always are ready when I need them. They have a gourmet chef which was a major need as I have a very special diet and they are excellent. Great social events, exercises and movies. All my doctors are at UCI and they drive me to all my local appointments. I recently diagnosed myself with Parkinsons Disease. At age 77 great care is clearly slowing its progression. Fortunately the move was so easy because my family, Atria, and friends were marvelous. Also we have a boxer dog and she loves being here too. I now call my self a recovering trial attorney after a lengthy great career.

Atria has been my peaceful, happy home to me and my wife for over 6 years. We have a beautiful suite that overlooks the creek, were we watch nature in a peaceful, tranquility from our balcony.The dedicated caring staff, the delicious cuisine, engaging in social events and activities including musical entertainment, Bingo, happy hour, are a few reasons we have enjoyed our life here; and making many new friends. We feel very safe, secure and cared for knowing if i am in a time of need, Atria supportive staff is there for me and my wife 24-7. I would highly recommend you or a loved one to move in.

I liked Atria Golden Creek. I found the staff to be very pleasant and accommodating. It was far more on the cruise ship on land model. I felt like they would be very accommodating, but it was like so over the top cost wise, and there wasn’t real sense of home like atmosphere. It’s very clean with large size units.

Recently I visited Golden Creek and was impressed by their Bistro. How wonderful to have a cup of coffee, latte or sandwich anytime during the day. The food is wonderful and a wonderful selection. The community has great employees and everyone is always happy to see you.

Atria Golden Creek is only two blocks from my sister's house, which was a huge consideration. They have a lot of indoor activities, yoga, exercise classes, and art classes. They have a physical therapist, so she can go to the gym and get her physical therapy. They have an occupational therapist that comes in twice a week who also works with her. They have doctors come and visit, and her psychiatrist and her geriatric specialist can see her there. Outdoor activities include field trips, and she can go on walks along the riverbank and around the lake. The staff has been very compassionate and warm and seemed to have a very thorough understanding of my mother and her medical and psychological issues right now. They have been very good about communicating and keeping up with things, managing her medications and managing her doctor's appointments. I've been very pleased. They have an assisted living program there, but for somebody who is relatively new to their dementia, it's a good place for them to go. The people have some level of independence that they encourage.

As my wife and I have raised concerns about various issues pertaining to my mother's care, Atria has gone above and beyond to address our concerns. Their service is consistently excellent. The staff was very helpful. They gave us a tour. It was a very nice big facility. We looked at a model room, and it was very well presented and very beautiful. We saw the dining room and saw the people being seated. It was like a nice restaurant. The only activity we observed in Atria was a church service. When we looked at the memory unit, it was quite different from the assisted living area, but all of them had adequate security as far as caring for the residents.

Jayshri Luni she is very quiet and business like, does everything quickly and thoroughly, is a very good helper.Cindy Magana and Nicole Brady are so much fun to be around; they have so much fun with the residents it makes it so enjoyable to be around them both.Flordeliza Liza Colosco she is a very small person but is anxious to do everything and more, she is so sweet and greatful. As others have stated before me, it is very difficult to single people out for praise at this facility. My mother Karen has been living at Atria Golden Creek for about a year and a half now. At first she was reluctant about leaving the comfort of her own home and living in a community environment like Atria. After trying it for three months she has never regretted making the decision to move here. What I like most about the Atria Golden Creek employees is they all work together to get the job done even if it isnt their specific job. I am not able to pick just one or two people to applaud. My wife and I visit my mother daily around 4pm and share stories with other residents of the days activities. I would like to recognize the following people for their going above and beyond what I would expect from them in caring for my mother. First shout out goes to Laura Ayala. Laura is the primary caregiver for my mother during the day. My mother always says Laura is her favorite. Another caregiver that deserves recognition is her nighttime caregiver Nany Griesinger. Nany is always keeping us aware of anything mom needs to make her stay more comfortable. Nicole Brady for her dedication to keeping all the residents involved in activities. My mom is legally blind and very hard of hearing. Her favorite game every day is Bingo. I have been there watching several times without Nicole knowing and I was very impressed with the time and care she gives everyone to make sure they are involved with the games and activities. Parniyan Reshad for her attention to detail while working at the front reception desk until recently when she was given a promotion and reassignment. Even though Parniyan is not working the front desk anymore she still can be seen throughout the community helping wherever she can. Since my wife and I visit on a daily basis around 4pm we spend a lot of time in the Bistro area playing cards and visiting with my mom. Over the past year and a half there have been several employees that have worked in the Bistro but recently the employee that stands out working there is Israel Yanez. Israel is always working with a smile and always attending to whatever anyone wants. Israel is mature beyond his years and is a real asset to the community. Rolando Galara gets my vote for his making all residents feel like the bell of the ball when he dances with them on Fridays. What great moves. How could I end this without recognizing Andrew for overseeing the wonderful meals that are prepared there. Thank you Tracy Williams for taking care of maintenance at Golden Creek. Thank you Phill Barklow for making the environment at Golden Creek a pleasant place to work. A Bigger Thank You to those employees not mentioned by name but who are obviously responsible for making Atria Golden Creek what it is today.

I just wanted to recognize the wonderful staff at Atria Golden Creek. We feel very blessed to have such a nice facility for Dad to call home. This is a great community with people for Dad to talk to. He loves the food (Thank you Andrew) and the activities arranged by Nicole. Able and Mo have been great making sure that Dad's personal needs are taken care of. Nany and Annahi always make sure he gets his medications on time and call whenever there are any issues. Myra makes sure everything is coordinated and Phil has been there to help us resolve issues.

Atria Golden Creek is an incredible place! I am a very particular person when it comes to evaluating the quality of care in residential settings because of my prior employment for over 20 years in the field of social work. When my mother had a stroke over two years ago, it was necessary to seek alternative living arrangements as she was no longer considered safe to be living on her own. When looking at various living options, Atria Golden Creek was "it" as soon as we toured the place...To this day, neither Mom nor I have ever questioned that decision. I can never reach her by phone during the day as she's always downstairs playing something or other...Bingo, Uno, Horse-racing, or participating in the numerous games or exercise activities offered throughout each day. The food served is also great...My mother has actually gained weight since moving there, and I can rest assured she's always eating nutritious and tasteful meals. Mom has frequently said that she feels respected, safe and well cared for by all of the staff members, and that "Everyone calls me by name!" (I think that's a very positive endorsement as my mother does not yet require the need for paid assistance.) I know there are many staff members to recognize as going above and beyond, but I'd like to offer a special thanks to Nicole, Cindy, Myra, Chef Andrew, Parniyan and Chantel.

Every one at Golden Creek welcomes me when I visit the facility. They greet me with warm smiles and are always helpful. I would particularly like to mention about Parnian at the front desk and Chanel Hallman in the dinning room. I can see that they genuinely care about the residents and visitors like myself. I can rely on them that always things I ask are taken care of for sure. I am also very thankful to Scott the driver. When I was hospitalized about two months last year, he juggled his busy daily schedules to bring from time to time my husband to the hospital where I was staying. My mother, Mae Pleasant, has had a wonderful, caring experience at Golden Creek. She thoroughly enjoys the clean, up to date facilities and furnishings along with the outstanding food provided by Andrew and his staff. Although many of the caregivers and staff are excellent, she speaks most often about Parniyan at the front desk, Nicole-activities, and caregivers Camilia and Abel. As a family we could not have found a better place for Mom to be safe and comfortable.

Atria Golden Creek had a resort look. It had a memory care area and it looked like it was well set-up for that. I really liked that it had memory care although it was more expensive. My mom could stay there and if she stayed then I wouldn't need to hire a personal caregiver, I do not have to worry about her wandering off. The facility and rooms were nice. They seemed to have good personnel. I heard they had a very well-praised chef and they had a nice little dining room.

Atria Golden Creek is a great facility. There are a variety of floor plans available. My grandparents chose the one with one bedroom. This allows them to have their own privacy and host guests at the same time. The move from my house to the assisted-living facility was an easy transition because the place came fully furnished. The unit is very comfortable and has lots of amenities. There is a full kitchen, so grandma can cook if she wants to. It also has a heating and cooling system so that the temperature can be changed to something that is comfortable. In addition, there is a 24-hour emergency button that can be pushed if my grandparents really need help with something.Aside from the unit, the Atria Golden Creek has a good community feel. There are many conveniences that you would find in a regular town, things such as a movie theatre and a barber shop. There is also never a lack for things to do; guests can attend exercise classes, social nights that might involve movies or board games, and there's also a lot of open, serene space for chatting and relaxing. When one gets hungry, there is a cafeteria available where most residents eat. The chef is able to make customized meals to fit the dietary restrictions of my grandparents. If my grandparents need to leave, there is free public transportation to local shops in the neighborhood. Overall, this selection is a good and affordable way to take care of my grandparents.
