Works very well with challenging behaviors. Shannon always responds quickly to questions and concerns. Attend the monthly support group even if your relative isn’t living there-it’s very supportive and educational.

I have been an industry partner with this facility for 5+ years. I have referred many families of memory impaired loved ones to this community and will continue to do so. The greatest part of working with this community is the support they offer back to the community for non-residents. If you are unaware, they offer an Education and Connection group every second Wednesday of the month that is free and open to the public. If you have a loved one who has a memory impairment I strongly recommend reaching out to this community to get more details.

Am very happy with the continuing care my brother is receiving. The staff is well trained in interacting with dementia patients at all levels. Management is proactive in responding to questions/concerns and maintains an open line of communication with family. They do a remarkable job in often trying situations.

As it turns out, our loved one was only at Desert Hills for a short time before passing, but I want to share what a positive experience it was to work with everyone at Desert Hills. They did a terrific job of helping us get my father in law set up in his room and then took excellent care of him during a difficult time. Because of some special circumstances (behavior and dementia), we were refused care by a different nursing home. Desert Hills jumped in on short notice and made it all work out. Thanks to all!

My dad was admitted to this facility after being denied twice because of his aggressive behavior due to the dementia. They were able to redirect his behavior and did an awesome job with for the 2 years he was there. He just passed in March and they were very caring and loving and i give them high praises for the work they do.

A very special place for your loved ones suffering from dementia and Alzheimers. The staff is awesome and it is a very modern and clean facility, and prepares excellent food. Many activities for clients to participate in and planned get togethers for family. You can be rest assured that your loved ones are being well taken care of. I highly recommend Desert Hills Memory Care Center to anyone in need and I will greatly miss the staff as I have grown to love them all very much.

Not sure why someone who didnt get a job should be posting a review . If you look, those are the only bad reviews! You didnt get the job for a reason! The staff at Desert Hills is AMAZING. Im glad they go through such a rigorous interview process! I cannot say enough about the care and compassion ALL of the staff has for not only the residents, but the family as well!! Brittany, Breanna, Jane, Chantel, you are shining stars! Thank you for making this transition the best it could be in such a difficult time for our family. You can tell you love what you do. ♡ I am so very grateful!

I dont write reviews very often, but I could not be more happy with the care my loved one receives at Desert Hills. Anyone who has cared for someone with Dementia will understand the extreme amount of stress involved. Desert Hills has completely removed that stress for me. I never have to worry if my loved one is being well cared for, or if Im going to receive a late night call about something she did that puts her place there in jeopardy. Id give them ten stars if I could.

Desert hills is a wonderful community who specializes in the different behaviors often displayed by residents with dementia. Our community has a great partnership with them and absolutely adore the management team!

My husband has been well cared for at Desert Hills Memory Care in Hemet for a year and a half. The staff seems to respect the residents and they do their best to keep our loved ones safe, clean and active to the best of their abilities. Families are offered educational and social opportunities. I very much appreciate Desert Hills.

Desert Hills was where I chose to place my mother, after having a bad experience at another facility. Mom was not easy to care for, however, their staff is highly trained in all areas of dementia and did a wonderful job in caring for mom during her 2+ years at Desert Hills. Not only did they care for mom, but for our family as well. I attended their educational Support Group meetings which helped me understand more about the disease.
