My grandmother has been in this facility for a little over a week now and I could not be happier. Everyone here is so attentive and friendly! The support that she has been receiving from the team here is incredible. We have seen such an improvement in her abilities and her skills are improving every single day. They are incredibly clean and all the nurses and therapist are amazing. She says everyone has been so gentle and kind to her. We highly recommend this nursing home.

My mom is currently at Grand Terrace. The nurses,doctors, and administrative team have provided excellent service. They are compassionate, empathetic and caring. I live in SC and I was so worried that I could not be there with my mom but Stephanie, Ana, Bernardo, Alyssa, Hugo, and Kevin have put those worries to rest. The therapists (Gabriel) work with my mom and encourage her. She has fun because they use play therapy activities Their exceptional dispositions, professionalism, and great bedside manner has helped our family rest easier. Thank you for all that you do everyday!

My grandpa was admitted here and the staff has been so helpful throughout the whole process. The nurses do a great job taking care of him and the CNAs always make sure he’s comfortable and doing well. He’s been here for about a month and ever since he started working with the physical and occupational therapist i’ve noticed major improvements! The nurses help answer any questions i have about his care and they’re super friendly!!

After a nasty fall I was sent here for rehab. I was very impressed with the therapists and also most of the staff assigned to answer my call button--two remarkable groups. I was a burden for the kitchen, being Celiac (gluten is poisonous to me) and also a vegetarian who eats fish occasionally. My meals had a remarkable sameness to them--eg fish twice a day!--and sometimes I was sent food that was not gluten-free. They need to be better trained in responding to such dietary issues. I removed one star for this reason. My Medicare covered all costs.

Hello e out th in GoogleLand Orlando Diaz here!! Thats. the greeting i use for my Instagram/ Facebook videos. Today I'm just a Son who has been caring for his 86yr old mother with 2 fractured hips n a broken arm . Since February 2nd to March 23rd my mother suffered 5 traumas with 5 fractures total. I had to decide which Nursing facility to place her" Grand terrace Health care Center " as soon as i walked in i experienced a sanitary lit up facility where care givers were tending to there clients / our elderly loved ones after looking up 2 other facilities there was no question GTHCC Was.the place for my Mom where extensive time my Family & I will be bringing her home today were so Grateful to the all the Staff of Nurses CNA's House keeping , Management , Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and everyone i missed this is a "Place of Healing" i cannot thank them enough but here it goes Gracias’™ to Jamelia Sara Rika Wendy Angie T Trina Nayeli Robbie Victor Max Alex Tiffany Lawrence C,J Eric Chandis Amelia Luci Junnie Nadia Dominique Erica Hugo Thankyou so much .So if u find yourself in the same situation don't hesitate Grand Terrace Health care Center is the place’’’™™™

My brother was in this care facility for almost a full year. At first I was a little unsure how it was going to be but the care he has received has been top notch. Lawrence who is the physical therapist is awesome and became a good friend. I cannot say enough about him. All the staff from the CNA's to the other facility workers are just the best. When I picked up my brother to take him home, many including myself had tears in our eyes saying goodbye. All the nurses and staff are excellent and really do care. Thank you to Henny, Miriam, Edwin, Wanda, Lawrence, Jay, Jazz, Nadia, Erica and so many others. Blessings to you all.

Not good care especially in the evenings no one comes for several hours when you have to go to the bathroom. Physical therapy is good though. Too many doctors that handle the patients here taking people off of meds they’ve been on for years. Not sure they have a complete medical history or if they even read it. Try calling the phone number it rings and rings and rings no one answers.

Really wish that I could give at least 3 stars for the many wonderful cnas and good lvn’s for the most part but if you end up on the wrong side of one or two of the lvns, you’re history for that shift and each shift after. They will put you at the end of the medication delivery and (won’t see) the new order for different meds that the doctor has prescribed. It’s kinda like if that person doesn’t care for you because you may have complained about waiting an hour for pain meds, then life will be rough for you during their shift every time. A couple of the lvns have a pretty strong pay back mentality. The others are wonderful though. Just don’t rub those couple of lvns the wrong way because they have their ways of making you pay for your complaints or concerns. Physical therapy and occupational therapy girls are phenomenal.

Amazing place! You will not find another nursing home with people who care as much as they do here. My grandma has been to other so called "5 Star" places but never had an experience like this. We were debating to take her home but the doctor highly recommended a nursing home to get stronger and avoid another trip to the hospital. We were nervous with our experiences at other nursing homes - not bad but not great - and especially now with COVID and not having normal visits, but a friend recommended Grand Terrace after they had a great experience with their grandpa. We are so glad they did. This place could not have been any better. Not sure where to begin. The staff went overboard to make sure my grandma was taken care of and still had safe visits with our family. The best part were the nurses - they were angels, all of them. There was one small request with a preference of my grandma at the beginning, and it was resolved right away. There are too many people to mention but some of my grandma's favorites were Erica, Destiny, Edwin, Flauren, Lori, Sandra, Nicole, Dominick, and Shandis. Kyle was a character and helped set up zoom with the family when we couldn't make it in. The staff did little things like tell a joke to make her smile, get her favorite snack, help get her in the right position to sleep, and more and more. These little things meant so much and we appreciate all of it. My grandma is a picky eater and she had no complaints about the food - says a lot. Kim was so kind and gave our family info we needed from the beginning. Any time my mom or uncle asked about her progress the nurses were quick to give an update. The head nurse Fabby was available to talk about her progress at any time. The doctor was hands on and fast to get back within an acceptable time frame. She did so well in physical therapy - she looked forward to it every day. Oh, and Nadia was very helpful to get her everything set up at home when she was ready. It put our family at ease from day one after seeing she was in good hands with people who really care. She was there for several weeks and didn't want to leave. lol! If you're looking for a nursing home, this one is the best, by far!

My husband, Kenneth, is a patient at this place because of medical conditions which needs physical theraphy so badly. He's been to therapy at other places, but this place is without a doubt, the best. All the staff were very friendly, compassionate, professional & caring.... they treat him with respect and truly care about his getting well. He did not mention any names but each staff member from the nurses to the housekeeping, therapists and the dietary staff were awesome and deeply appreciated. The therapists are knowledgeable, emphatic, patient and he always felt like he was getting the best physical theraphy. This Grand Terrace Health Care Center is highly recommended to others. 100 Stars!! Mom took a turn a few years ago and we've been to several rehab nursing homes and this one is the best. Mom can be a hard person to please but she loved it here. Everything is so clean and smells great, just like a five star hotel. The nurses are nice and very attentive. Therapists really worked to get mom strong and back on her feet. She loved the food, and that is saying a lot because she's such a picky eater. The activities guy was great and so helpful in setting up visits with the family. I can't say enough about everyone here. Mom is home and doing well because of all of you! THANK YOU!!

I've stayed here since December of 2017, the rehab department is WONDERFUL. I think a lot of other centers like this should visit here and take note. The staff as whole was GREAT!!!!! The admin director Deen was and is a very hands on good person not only professionally but personally. If I ever had to rehab again, I would return in a New York minute.

From the Hardest working Housekeeping Ms. Betty to CNA's , Maria Elena , Nancy R , Edwin & & Miss Aricellda , LVN's Erika !!! In the Shower & Spa , Ms Fatimah & Ms.Juana FABULOUS!! I cant name everyone!!! Food by Jose Much Better than Loma Linda ! The Best Physical Therapy Dept.Ms. Margo & company... My husband spent 5 weeks here and I must say, as far as skilled nursing facilities go, this one is very clean and the staff, for the most part, is extremely courteous and efficient. He was there for IV antibiotic therapy and wound care and his nurses were always caring and knowledgeable in the field. Of course, him being a "model patient ", always kind and friendly towards them, made their jobs easier, I'm sure. The only negative feedback I have is about the dietary department, which is a common complaint with most nursing homes. The food was always cold and very unappetizing... so much so that he lost 37 pounds while there because he couldn't stomach it. They told him he could request items off the menu, which he did, but then never got them. We were told that they had a new cook...well that cook needs to learn how to COOK! Maybe it's hard to cook in portable kitchens (located in the parking lot) because the kitchen caught on fire several months ago, but I really don't think that's an excuse for the kind of food that's being served. To be blunt and honest, 95% of it is disgusting. Overall, however, I always felt confident that he was receiving good care. I thank the staff members who treated him for doing a great job and treating him with dignity and respect. I would recommend this facility to anyone who might ask for my opinion. ~Georgia Greenside

Great experience! The staff is very friendly and attentive. In a matter of days we met several of the department heads and a couple of the administrators. They were very accessible to the patients and families and easy to talk to. The patients we met in the halls were happy and well cared for. The physical therapy staff were very encouraging and patient with my father. They have a well rounded program and really encourage the patients to participate in the activities. I would highly recommend this facility.
