We have stellar caregivers! K. is exceptional! She has helped us establish a system for managing our supplies, she is continually adjusting to our dad's needs as he changes, and she has a wealth of tricks and tips that help us keep our dad safe and happy! She has built a lovely, trusting relationship with our dad. She brightens his day! A. and F. are also wonderful caregivers! They bring quality care and humor to dad, and they enjoy playing cards with him and engaging him in fun activities! Our overnight caregivers J. and Y. are very caring and observant on their overnight shifts. They are gentle with their approach to changing him overnight, as it requires interacting with him while he is drowsy. They help us with light housework and laundry so family can spend their time with dad on engaging activities instead of so much housework! All of our caregivers communicate well with us and utilize the daily communication log that we implemented to keep the team in the loop about my dad. We appreciate all of them!

I would say that both Vincent and Tish are excellent. Vincent is here 4 days a week, and Tish is here 1 day a week. My father always tells me that they both are working all of the time. He likes both of them, and so do I. They leave me notes every day, and help him with meals. They even feed the cats!

The Visiting Angels have cared for my mom twice, this last time was during and up to her final day. From the very first phone call, Ashley assessed and coordinated with the hospital and ultimately the residential care facility quickly and efficiently. She communicated and made schedules and arrangements with all necessary persons at the hospital and the home. Both the hospital (Foothill Pres.) and residential home (San Dimas) praised the Visiting Angels. She made the whole process very smooth. She kept me informed and updated without fail. ALL the staff there were so nice and caring and did their jobs so professionally. The level of comfort care they showed my mom, helped me and my family knowing that if we were not there that the visiting angels (especially Reina) were caring for her, brought us so much peace at a very emotional time. I called Joan on a Monday morning to set up care for my mother June. Joan was able to meet with us Monday afternoon. She assured us she would have someone out beginning Tuesday evening when my mother returned from Respite Care. True to her word she assigned Sheree to work with my mom. Upon meeting Sheree for the first time we all knew what a special person she is. Sheree is kind and compassionate. Every time she was there she greeted my mom with that bright beautiful smile of hers. Sheree has a warmth that shines and radiates through her. I am forever grateful that she came into our lives at a time of sadness and helped make it a little easier. She took wonderful care of my mom and because of that we are truly blessed. Sheree became a part of our family and we greeted her with a hug and again at the end of her shift. My mother was called back home by God and will be forever missed. Visiting Angels is a professional orgranization, from top to bottom. I hired Visting Angels to provide a caregiver for my husband to come to our house a few days a week. For the first visit, both the caregiver and the case manager (Joan) came to our house. I had an opportunity to tell both of them exactly what I needed from the caregiver and it was great to have the case manager there as well so she also knew what I expected and needed. The pricing was easy to understand and reasonable. The caregiver did a great job and gave my husband the chance to continue living in our house. This avoided him being admitted to a care facility which saved us a lot of money. In addition, my husband really wanted to remain at home as opposed to having to live apart from me. Getting old sucks but the caregiver made my husband's life better as well as my own.

My handicapped wife has used Visiting Angels for several months and they have totally exceeded our expectations. They always send a reliable helper even on short notice. Our helpers have been consistently willing and cheerful and never complain. They assist with bathing and dressing my wife as well as do household chores, laundry, meals, running errands etc. If you are in need, don't hesitate to call them. You won't be disappointed!

My Mom is 95 years old and was very set against having a caregiver. I interviewed a couple of agencies but had heard many good things about Visiting Angels. I was very impressed with Joan Cady who came out for the interview. On the second day, they sent caregiver Tina Guerrero. I was immediately happy with her attention to detail. First few days were rough as my Mom was still against having someone in her home. After a week, she begin to open up to Tina. Now, their relationship is fantastic. The Glendora Visiting Angels office was there for my family when I needed them most in caring for my dad who is 97. I had been the primary caregiver for him for over a decade after my mother died. Dad was reluctant to bring anyone other than me or other family members in to provide care. He really loved the caregivers that he immediately became friends with. His dementia was progressing more and more and he struggled to be able to walk by himself without falling. We started with 9 hours of care per week, which was mostly companion to sit with him, watching TV, taking him for walks in his wheelchair, making sure he ate proper meals. This was the respite I needed to get away for a bit. Over the next year the caregivers from Visiting Angels supplied increased personal care for him. We added more hours per week and increase the requirements of care. Our last caregiver, Diane, became a part of our family. After he passed, she still checked in on me to let me know she was there for me if needed. Visiting Angels in Glendora sincerely cared for my father and my family. It isnt just a business for them, its a calling.

With my husbands rapid health change, I needed in-home care with short notice. Within 1-2 hour of my call, an intake staff member was in our home to take relevant information and 2 hours later, we had our first caregiver. We are now 6 months in, with 25-40 hours of caregiver support in our home each week, and are very pleased. Visiting Angel caregivers are well trained, attentive to changing needs, and provide great peace of mind. On the few occasions that a caregiver hasnt been the best interpersonal match, the scheduling staff have received well the request that we try another caregiver and we now have a favorites list from which they regularly draw up their schedule. We are grateful for Visiting Angels!
