We moved my mom in during Covid which made things a little more "interesting" but Merrill and Lisa were so helpful and supportive thru the whole process.

My dad has been in memory care since May 2021. We choose Merrill Garden mainly because my daughter was a previous employee in the memory care unit, so we were comfortable with the quality of care. He requires a level of care that we are unable to provide at home. My dad is happy, clean, well fed, and well cared for. His dementia is advanced and it really takes a professional to understand and assist with the care. We are very pleased.

Can’t say enough good things about Merrill Gardens. The staff is amazing & very caring. They are always willing to help & provide service with a smile and the facility is kept very clean. The care provided to Mom is such that we are at peace that she is being well cared for & is being provided all that she needs there. She loves the staff that cares for her, her medications are given on time, her appetite has improved greatly, she has met new friends & engages in activities. For her 95th Birthday they made it special by gathering staff from the dining room who sing; they brought out the microphones & sang happy birthday to her in Spanish & just made her day a special one. A special shout out to Diane who works in the dining room. She is simply amazing & a very hard worker who always makes our experience a great one whenever we dine in there. Additionally Chantel has been there for us in many ways even if it pertains to something outside of her own duties; these two ladies are “AMAZING”! The service we have been provided by all staff has been great & we are so glad we could find placement for our Mom in a facility with such caring & compassionate people.

My mom has been at Merrill Gardens for almost 4 months now and we could not have found a better place! Her apartment is just the right size with a beautiful view! The staff could not be more friendly or helpful. The food is very good, my mom never complains about anything! They have a variety of engaging activities and outings. Having experiences with other Assisted Living communities I would say Merrill Gardens is the best, hands down!

My Dad has been a resident for a few months in the memory care area. I was concerned about him fitting in as he wanted to remain in his own home. Im relieved to say the transition has been great. Everyone greets you with a smile, are very patient and professional.Family members have remarked what a nice place Merrill Gardens is.

Grandma would love this place. It's clean, they have anytime eating from 7-7. Early bird breakfast on the 3rd level. Has a little bit of a 'cleaning product odor'. Many Giants fans which Grandma would love. It's inviting. Includes laundry and if you want to do your own detergent is provided. Puzzle room is beautiful. Priced well.

The one thing that I am most concerned about, since my mom is very high functioning I feel that they are not as attentive to her as I wish they were. I do like the staff in general. They are friendly both with the residents and their families. I really like the security of the facility. Overall I am pleased with Village Green.
