My grandmother spent the last year of her life at The Windham, and I cannot say enough about the care and compassion she received there. The Executive Director (John) and Staff went far beyond simply doing their jobs - several of them truly became family to her, and that kind of genuine connection means everything when your loved one can no longer be at home. The facility itself in addition to my Grandmothers apartment there was always immaculate and well-maintained, which speaks to how seriously The Windham takes the comfort and dignity of its residents. Most importantly, because of the environment and the people there, my grandmother’s final year was so much brighter and more peaceful than it would have been otherwise. Our family is deeply grateful for everything The Windham did for her. If you are searching for a place where your loved one will be truly seen and cared for, look no further.

I highly recommend the Windham for independent and assisted living. My mom has been there for 3 years and I have observed first hand the highest level of quality, care and professionalism in Fresno. Living out of state it was important to know that my mom was in good hands. The strutture is beautiful, clean and cared for down to the smallest detail with a vibrant atmosphere. In my opinion the restaurant has some of the best burgers and pancakes in town. The staff is professional, friendly, patient considerate and ready to help in any way. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a smile. Starting with the Executive Director I've witnessed first hand the importance of treating each resident with respect, love and dignity while helping family members deal with the care challenges of an aging parent. I knew I wasn't alone.

It's a lovely property. My only issue is the parking. When I come to visit, there's not a single parking space available. EVER. This problem, sometimes, makes me not want to go there. I understand the employees park out front. I suggest employee parking be made available elsewhere so that visitors have a place to park. Thank you.

Where do I start! First off, Melanie is amazing and made sure that all my questions were answered. She facilitated a quick and seamless move in process for my dad. Secondly, the director John is very caring and professional. He helped us navigate some difficulties with my father and was very patient and understanding. Everyone I have interacted with at the Windham has been beyond kind.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. Although the hotel is a little dated the service they offer is great. The first time we came on a weekend for my husband to take his CHP test he mentioned the bartender was cool AND my Bloody Mary was pretty good, better than I’ve had at some bars. Additionally the staff was very helpful and the price to stay here isn’t bad at all for what they offer. We’ve stayed at hotels that charge twice the price with way less to offer.

Fantastic facility with incredibly friendly staff. I am always greeted by happy clients who are enjoying themselves. Often when visiting there are special events with music, singing, guests dancing, and especially delicious food. Friday's are just fun at The Windham. The wellness care staff are exceptional!! It's always been a pleasure to work with such caring people. I highly recommend The Windham Fresno.

When looking for an assisted living place for mom, Windham had a warm welcome feeling. After I had a tour of the facility, I said hello to one of the residents that I did not know, and she asked me if my mom was a resident. I responded that I just had a walk-thru. The resident proceeded to tell me that Windham is the 'best place' for mom, and further explained how happy she was to live there. She was right! From the first day, everyone knew mom by name, and mom was treated with kindness and respect. The director, care and wellness staff, activities and dining staff, front desk and maintenance - everyone is friendly and caring, and many have a special gift of tender compassion care that will bring you a tear or two because you know your family member is well cared for. Thank you Windham - we are grateful to be a part of your family.

Visited here when my grandparents were considering a move, the staff here is great! Very friendly and caring, and are not afraid to go above and beyond. Community is very nice, clean and has a lot of outdoor space as well. My grandparents ended up staying in their home but I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a great place for their parents!

I helped my mother, Emilie Hayden, move into the Windham in 2021, and she asked me, Why didn’t we do this sooner? The staff treated her like family. The food was good, and my mom felt treated like royalty. You might be able to find more expensive and slightly newer places, but if you want your loved one to be at home, The Windham is the right place. When my Mom first said she wanted to look into Assisted Living, I worried that we were in for a long difficult process. To the contrary, we started with the Windham and she loved it immediately. Melanie was the perfect host and tour guide. Our Mom felt 100% comfortable with her. Could not have had a better experience. 7 months later, we are thrilled with this decision. John Earley and the staff constantly show their caring for their residents and family members. We have new family now. At the The Windham.

My Aunt has been living at the Windham for a few years now. She was diligent in selecting it for the next stage in her life of retirement. She chose an Independent Living apartment, with its own parking space. I heard about the various activities she did that kept her social calendar filled (which she loves!) At the beginning of the year, she had a massive stroke that severely impacted her speech. I flew in to see how she was doing with her new apartment in the main building, as well as how she was being cared for. My eyes well up with tears, just thinking about how the staff treat her. Hugs, words of encouragement, love and support are constantly given to her. They are her biggest cheerleaders & supporters in her recovery. I no longer worry about her care, I know they go above and beyond & treat her like family. They are truly Angels Incarnate.

The Windham is the most amazing place! I have had 4 different family members live there over the years. They continually go above and beyond in order to make sure the residents are happy, healthy and well cared for. John has been right there while my mom has been admitted to the hospital in order to assist us with anything we need. Kelly has been a mainstay and constant source of help and support, Erik, Miguel, Robert...too many to name. Everyone is amazing. I have no words to express my gratitude for all that they have done and continue to do for my family.

My mother has been a resident of the Windham Community for 3 years. I use the word "community" intentionally because it is an accurate description. The beautiful park-like grounds drew us to the Windham and the staff kept us there. After a tour Mom said, "I don't need to see any other places." That was high praise because at that time she did not want to move ANYWHERE. One aspect of this community is the friendships between residents. There are numerous opportunities to form connections, and that is crucial for seniors. The staff is not just friendly on a superficial level, they care on a deep level. They know their residents, they welcome family, and they provide plenty of activities for both residents and family. The Windham apartments and common areas are always very clean. One more thing, the food is excellent! If The Windham isn't on your list, make sure to add it and check it out.

The Windham is a lovely community that takes wonderful care of there residents and staff. The grounds are beautiful and it feels like home. Erica the Marketing Director is such a joy.
