My parents have lived here since the beginning of COVID. It is an absolutely wonderful place with wonderful staff! They moved in because my mom needed help with my dad, who has dementia. They lived together in assisted living for awhile until they decided it was time to move Dad to Memory Care as he had become too much for her to care for. My mom moved to a studio in the assisted living and stayed as long as she could. She didn’t actually need assisted living, but stayed to be close to Dad. But recently had to move out as prices were going up and she couldn’t afford to stay any longer. But Dad is still there in Memory Care and since Mom has many friends there, I am taking her to visit as often as I can. It is truly a loving home with people who are super friendly and really care about the residents. We are so sad she couldn’t stay, but are very happy that we were able to keep my dad where he is loved and well cared for.

The minute you walk in to this beautiful place your are greeted with friendly faces. I love the atmosphere and the woodsy feel like you are somewhere special. Crystal is amazing with answering your questions and seems to really care about the residents there. It is always a treat to get invited to a family night dinner. The food is amazing and always a smile in the air. .

Had tour of facility. Seemed very welcoming and spacious. Pets are allowed. Nice apartments. Activities for residents. Had good atmosphere.

The staff is very friendly and attentive I wanted a place where my mother could have her own independence & feel like home and still have 24hour assistance & care in her own apartment, it took her alittle while to get used to the facility but now she's very comfortable with the residents and staff . They eat 3 meals daily in the Dining hall with friends & live music every Friday on patio with plenty of outings & activities I really love this place for my mom and I would refer anyone with elderly love ones to take a tour and check it out .

Our parents are very comfortable at Paintbrush and we are pleased with the staff...however, it has been difficult since Covid has hit and I would love to talk to someone...I know everyones busy, but I look forward to sharing some thoughts. Thank you staff for all you do...Linda Duncan

I dont feel like I can be at a safer place then at Paintbrush. Our Activty Director works hard at keeping us all busy. I can take my dog out to the dog park at anytime. Holly, my dog, likes it here too. I think the staff works really hard to keep us all safe. Overall Paintbrush is doing a good job.

This community is beautiful and filled with amazing staff who absolutely love the residents. They are well trained in all aspects of care. The facility is well kept and Gino is one of the nicest Maintenance Supervisors around who has high expectations for his community and staff who care for the residents...great guy. Great team at Paintbrush! Keep up the great work.

While the staff is pleasant in person our phone calls have not been returned timely in seven months, there is currently no one answering the phone, the voicemailbox is full and there is no after hours number provided. We need to speak to someone immediately. If a staff person sees this, please call Mike or Michele Hansen.

Our family and dearest friends witnessed a wonderful morning watching the staff and residents sit spaced apart while our mother enjoyed a car parade to celebrate her 100th Birthday. Staff went over the top to make sure everyone was able to see the cars while keeping everyone safe. Every effort was taken for a flawless event that we could not have done without good communication prior, during, and after the event. Our mother loves the staff and feels at home. We could not ask for a better place or staff to make our mother feel loved. She loves her BINGO

I recently attended a social event and met some of the residents and employees. There was live music and food provided. I was brought on to the dance floor by the dance instructor and had a good time. The residents in attendance really appreciated the music and the facilities were great.

Recently toured with my parents. They love the lodge feeling and the people they met were friendly and welcoming. The Chef even came out to say hello at lunch. Felt at home!

This place looks like a mountain Lodge, youd never know it wasnt a hotel. It can room 75 in assisted living & 25 in the secure memory care wing. Staff is friendly, hardworking, cheerful, some need more training. Meals are ok but small & usually bland. Always choices on menu in dining room. Chef is good but I think they must have him on a tight budget. The new director gave us a tour & was very patient with dads slow pace & need for breaks. There was no sales pitch. Private rooms are lrg. with high ceilings, self-furnished, kitchenette with microwave & minifridge. Studios, 1 & 2 bdrms. Pets allowed (fees), dog park, 2 courtyards, cinema & fitness rooms, game room. Raised Gardening Club in both sections. Memory care section is open family room, family style eating, seperate activity room with things to do all day to stimulate the senses, ease stress, stir memories, private rooms. Science, cooking, music, art & games. Everywhere I went the staff was relaxed, happy & engaged with the clients.

The first people you see at the front desk are Ive toured with a few familes and the sales people are always so caring, understanding and knowledgable. smiling and welcoming you to Paintbrush. I also run a home care and transport business and coordinating with their team is flawless. Great job!!!!

Facility and grounds kept clean and orderly. Staff very friendly and helpful. My concern is the facility is poorly understaffed. One night there was a person on staff for 80+ residents....alone! That wasnt the first time either. No RN on site? (I dont mean an LVN or NA). What happens in case of an emergency? Is staff trained to perform CPR? Medications such as OxyContin, hydrocodone, etc. not locked up properly (most facilities use the double lock and signature, verification process). What happens if a resident gets the medicine? Is it legal for unlicensed staff to handle, distribute that type of medication? What is the protocol for accountability of the medication? There have been numerous complaints reported to the State Board as well as locally as far as care is concerned. How is that OK? These issues need to be looked into on a serious level. Its difficult enough to watch our parent(s) live probably their last days there.

This past summer. I found a resident in a wheelchair outside in driveway a sleep. No staff around, had to go inside and tell receptionist. She went outside and woke him up and brought him back inside.
