Unfortunately this place is overwhelmed with Fix-It problems this old building is on its last legs they trying but not good enough the building is not secure anybody can come in side the building off the streets or wherever and they do sleeping in stairwells squatting other people's apartments without paying rent lots of drugs and illegal activity and weapons This place looks like the city dump in the front only cosmetically they take care of it I wouldn't recommend this to anybody everybody feeds the cats that's an issue lots of people don't clean up behind a dogs lots of smoking in the hallways this place is not secure at all need the main management headquarters come down here and take a tour and see for yourself this is ridiculous!!!

I have been living here almost 3 years The Manager Lillian and her office staff is doing an amazing job. Also the maintenance team is doing an amazing job as well. They have been very helpful.

UPDATE! If your looking for a senior APT.... I recommend the Orchard Senior 10/5/2021 I'm still giving a 5 stars! The "Team Veronica" has gone above and beyond to try and get this property to its full potential. The dedication this team has shown has touched my heart. The clean up in ALL aspects of managing this property is monumental and will take time. It's already a huge improvement. Still love my APT! I love my APT! Christie is doing an excellent job... Finally security cameras and hopefully as soon as parking is fixed.. Her team is working on it Yay! Update # 2 September 2022 Lillian came back and built her team. Yay! Yay! Yay! With a normal ran business office, we hadn't had that for some time. All are super helpful and always pleasant. There is a monthly calendar with activities that the staff hosts. Improvements continue throughout the property. Great for seniors. Parking needs improvements

My mother has been living here for the past 3 years. The new manager, Lillian, and new office team is doing an amazing job. She has calendar with activities for the residents, something that had not been done by any previous managers. Lillian knows the majority of the residents by name which is quite impressive since she has so many. Her office staff is great too! Liz and Grace have helped my mom on several occassions and do not hesitate to go above and beyond for her or others. The maintenance team is great and their new porter is doing a great job keeping the property clean. I've only spoken to Michael a few times, but he has been so helpful with my questions regarding parking and other things going on in the community. I am excited to finally see a team that cares for their residents!

I would love to give my positive review ever since we got our new team in here the place has been so much more quiet and kept really clean Veronica is always on top of everything and is doing such an amazing job keeping everything clean and ONTOP of everything. me and my mom are in building 8181 and we love it here so much now that we have a new team in the office

The young lady in the office "Courtney Smith" is the best ..... she's very professional and efficient. Whenever anyone has a problem in the apartment or whatever situation.....she's on it.....No long waiting days or weeks to get the situation/issue with the apartment or paper work needed. I and others was sorry to learn that she will be leaving this month ..... GOOD LUCK COURTNEY!! . GOD BLESS YOU AND THANK YOU

We been here 2 years this property has recently changed hands. The new owners have abolished assigned parking and my husband along with many other tenants are handicapped with difficulty walk. We are required to pay $35.00 to park on the lot with no assigned parking. We feel like this is and injustice and just plain wrong. God is looking at all the wrong being done.

We keep getting steep rent hikes! My first one was $130 after the first year. The second was only $65. Last year was $65 again and now this year is $75...so I will be (if I stay) paying $1200-mo for 460sq.ft. Even the police say this is a ghetto. There are more drugs dealt here than at the local Walgreens. Last December 23, 2018 I was sitting with my dog in the doorway of our lobby when a thug came up to me, looked me right in my eyes and tore my necklace right off. I would not encourage anyone to move here. Youll only regret it as so many of us do.

Staff is so friendly sweet and polite lillian and rachel are so helpful the maintenance ernesto javier and Phillip are amazing always take care of any issues everyone has a great can do attitude i love it here Ive been here going on 2yrs plan to be here many more with the new ownership and staff i have seen this property change like all great things slowly but surely for the better

My 80 year old mom has lived here since 2012. We had decided to move her out when her lease was up this year until Rachel Washington became the new manager. I can not begin to tell you what she has done since she recently came on board. For 8 years, my mom (and I) dealt with many unresolved issues, horrible customer service, and ongoing problems with her apartment that were just swept under the rug. No one took her seriously Im assuming because of her age and physical limitations. I worried for her. I hated that she was treated so poorly. But in the past few weeks of having Rachel as the new manager, things have completely turned around. Not only does she go ABOVE and BEYOND to help, she does it with a smile and with such patience. She is kind and knowledgeable. She genuinely cares. I am so thankful for what she has done for my mom. I am so thankful my mom is treated her like a human being and not as a nuisance. It means more to our family than she will ever know. I know if you decide to move to this complex, you will be in great hands and will be treated fairly. Not to mention all the positive changes that are continuing to be made for the residents is a big plus!

I have gone there 2 times lately to visit a friend and I believe its a nice place, very clean. Ofcourse right now with covid 19 many common places are closed for gatherings, but other than that they have many siting areas outdoors and even a cute dog park. I saw people sitting and talking outside and thought it was nice. I would definetly live here some day when I reach my 55 years of age. .

I like the pool,it is very clean the pool is accommodated for elderly people 4ft being the deepest. And it has a gate for security! They have trash cans everywhere which is convenient to keep the place clean,hallways smell very clean! Stores,Restaurants and pharmacys all within walking distance or a short drive,Wal-Mart right across the street! Overall really nice place to live.

The new staff is great. The new manager Myra has done a good job here and shes very friendly. Susane alwyas is helpful and friendly. The old managers didnt do anything for this place like the new ones. They recently did a raffle contest here and I was the winner! If your looking for a nice place to stay come rent here
