I moved my father into Brookdale Folsom a little over one month ago and absolutely love Brookdale Folsom and so does my father! The people that work here are absolutely the best employees I have ever met in my whole entire life! Kimberly the sales manager was absolutely the most pleasant, cheerful, intelligent and caring sales person who genuinely cared about placing my father in the best possible facility with the best care! The rest of the staff that works there are truly extremely loving and caring people, from the kind caring cheerful nurses, sweet happy caregivers, the welcoming friendly smiling receptionists, friendly and concerned managers, smiling happy wait staff, cheerful fun loving bus driver and anyone else I didn't mention. Their service is wonderful and the food is delicious! God blessed me so much, more than you will ever know, by introducing me to Brookdale Folsom!

This is my first experience working in Assisted Living. When I came for my interview, I knew this is where I wanted to be. The atmosphere and appearance is very home like and caring. You immediately feel like family. The amount of quality training I am receiving shows Brookdale cares about the success of their staff and the happiness of their residents.

It is fake.just want you in for money. Staff is negligent. Day time somewhat ok. Leaving my dads down to his ankles easier to change him. Wrong billing procedures. Had to keep on that big time.cell phones going down the toilet. No proper transit from bed to wheelchair. Fractured wrist because of that. Urinary tract infections all the time. I found one of my father's pill.on the floor. You have to watch these people like a hawk. Not to mention how expensive to care for your father. There is no empathy there. All our bills were paid for rent etcetera but that didn't matter. Elder abuse across the board .directors ignored the complaints. Looks lovely on the outside but turmoil on the inside.

My grandfather is a resident here in the Memory Care facility. Due to my line of work as an EMT working for both private transport agencies as well as 911 response, I have visited numerous nursing homes of all types, and I have never been to one as superb as here. Brookdale is truly the best. I was pleasantly surprised and relieved to see how good of a job they are doing and how well they are taking care of my grandfather in his final days. Extremely clean, welcoming, safe, and healthy environment. I was brought to tears with how great this place is, knowing that my grandfather is being treated how he deserves to be, by the very best. There is warmth, love, and genuine care for well being and comfort of residents radiating all throughout this facility.

The staff treat my mother well, but the manager Melissa is not responsive to billing adjustments. My mother had to go into rehab and didnt receive personal service during that time. I dont think an adjusted should take over 6 months.

My mom was so used to living on her own in a big house with a lot of land and this transition wasnt easy but she felt right at home the minute she got there. I really like that there is a hospital right across the street. When my Mother fell, the community was wonderful. They called the ambulance right away and they were there within minutes. If this fall would have happened at home, it would have been a lot worse. The staff is fabulous and they communicate very well with me. She loves the food and the activities like crafts and games. She loves that she has the ability to go outside and get fresh air. They leave the doors open for the sun to come through and get fresh air. The last time my mom was there they had construction going on to update the building. But they did do a good job in cornering it off and keeping it clean. My mom looked great when she was there and you could tell it made a difference for her to feel like she was at home. I really recommend them.

The meals they have been serving have been great. The chef is very good at making adjustments to the meals to make sure the residents are satisfied with there dinning experience. There is a variety of different activities throughout the week including my mothers favorite bingo. I would recommend this community to family members and friends.

My parents moved in to this faciity during the transition from Emeritus to Brookdale ownership last year. My inlaws were both residents when it was Emeritus. The caregivers by far are wonderful, warm and loving. The food is tasty and there is a plethera of activities that would please most anyone. There were some massive growing pains this past year with administrative and staff turnover with the new ownership. It takes time to work these things through. However, it is clear that they tried to make the transition invisible (though that wasn't possible) to the residents. Despite losing my dad earlier this year, my mom is doing far better than she had been for many years before. Communication with family members and staff to collaborate is the key to stay appraised of what is going on at any facility.

Our experience with Brookdale Folsom has been a good one, overall. The staff is friendly and professional, and I really appreciate the degree of communication they maintain with families. They've always gotten in touch with us immediately if issue comes up. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and I think they take good care of the people who live here.

The people at Brookdale Folsom have been great. They have all been very nice and friendly, and the facility itself is very clean and well kept. I am still trying to get my mother used to the idea that this is her new home and it has been a little challenging at times, but as far as Brookdale Folsom themselves are concerned, they are doing an excellent job.
