My mother was moved to Vista Del Lago about a month ago now, from start to finish it has been an absolutely wonderful experience! The entire team of administrators, Med Techs, Nurses, Care Givers ,kitchen staff, maintenance and housekeeping, laundry, and front reception have been knowledgeable, kind, caring, accountable, and always actively caring for all of the residents at the facility. I visit several times a week and at various hours of the day and I am always so pleased to see every single staff member actively participating with seniors and extremely responsive to any and all requests. I cannot give this Memory Care Facility enough praise! I am so incredibly thankful my mother is here. I work in the medical and healthcare field myself, I understand how hard everyone has to work to make things run smooth, and even when they don't, I can tell the staff jumps in and helps residents first and for most, I am so thankful for everyone's hard work and quality care to my mom and all the residents! Top tier level of care, keep up the amazing care!

I was referred to this facility in July of last year for my father who is 91 years old. Interacting with all of the staff both in the front and back office has been extremely easy to ensure my father's needs are met. In particular, Maria Marquez has always assisted our family with the simplest of requests. Every time our family arrives to visit and she is working the front desk or we see her on her way throughout the Facility, she makes time to stop and say hi. We've developed a great relationship with her along with some of the residents of the facility as well. I feel that Vista Del Lago is the best place for my father during this time of his life. We are very fortunate and well assured that he is receiving the appropriate type of care and never have to worry about his safety.

My dad is at Vista Del Lago Memory care. This hav been a good experience for him. My dad has always been a picky eater but he says the home made bread is the best!!! Keep it coming he says. The staff and administration have been kind, helpful, respectful and responsive to all of my father's needs. We had a small issue with my dads insurance, they patiently helped us through the fiasco. I'm grateful for Marie the executive director, Kelsey at the front desk and Maria, who is Marie's admin asst. and Eric the med text. I can depend on them to help me with most things about my dad. They have always been kind, and generous with their time and compassion towards my family!

This is a 5 star facility. My daughter spent the last couple of weeks of her life at Vista Del Lago. The staff treated her with respect and compassion. They always took my calls and answered any questions that I had. When it was time for hospice to be called in they sat me down and explained what to expect. My daughter never suffered. I will forever be grateful that my daughter was able to spend her last days at Vista Del Lago, it made her passing from this life to her next life in heaven more bearable. Thank you to Hilda and all the staff.

Mom looks great when I and my wife visited her on Mothers Day. We liked the way her hair looks, her eyes looks great( no more sleepy looking ) and she’s more attentive to her new environment. She likes the way she was treated by the staff also she said food is way way better than the other place. We appreciate everything you do. We will give you two thumbs in addition to those 5 stars. Definitely recommend to caregivers looking for a clean, skilled, understanding, well-staffed place of residence for their family member with moderate to advanced Alzheimer’s/Dementia. Care of people with Alzheimer’s/Dementia and behavioral issues is extremely difficult- I know, my dad lived with me for 6 months and it was the most stressful situation I’ve ever been in. Vista Del Lago was my dad’s second memory care home since then, and he was there 11 months before his passing. VDL was such a blessing-in a big way! The staff got to know and understand my sometimes funny, sometimes hard-headed dad. They handled behavior issues that came up quickly and appropriately; he got involved in the daily activities much more than I thought he would. The staff are easy to reach, friendly, and communicate any changes or updates in a timely manner. It’s always clean there, they have a long spacious patio with plenty of seating and opportunities for sunshine; also the residents have the freedom to walk, while still being secure. When my dad had to go out to the hospital for health issues, and returned back to VDL, he recovered amazingly well. He would go from bedridden to wheelchair to walking again in days, and I think that is a testament to their care. I would definitely recommend Vista Del Lago to others in need of such a home. (4.5 stars as it isn’t perfect, particularly Covid restrictions made family participation in memory care facilities almost non existent, which reduces the potential cooperation between family, staff, and the patient.)

My parents were at Vista Del Lago Memory Care for a year and a half. After dad passed, we moved mom to Felicitas memory care. Both places did a great job with my parents. The caregivers were great at both Vista Del Lago and Felicita!! I think Felicita was a little nicer. The food is better and the facility is nicer. Felicita has both memory care and assisted living. It was nice to be able to take mom from memory care to the assisted living cafeteria and have a meal with family and friends. We even had moms 90th at Felicita. I hope this helps you decide on the care for your parents. Its not an easy job and both Vista Del Lago and Felicita Vida were great help when we needed assistance.

I moved Mom here after it became obviously apparent that she needed to be in a place that specialized in quality care for people that have Alzheimers or another form of Dementia. The wonderful care givers were just awesome. It didnt take long before I truly had no worries about mom. Mom is able to roam around as she pleases; inside and out. Visiting hours are 24-7 365. The Activity Room is where the fun is. Singing led by professionals is often. The staff really is encouraging to residents to get involved but also know when quiet time back in ones room is best. Every one is well fed. And for those that are a little picky there is always a staff person there to help the process along. They keep mom clean and well dressed always. When my mother reached the point of needing more care than we could give her, we found Vista Del Lago and couldnt have been happier. She made friends and actually gained weight when she was refusing to eat for us. When she began nearing the end, the wonderful people at her new home kept us informed of her changes and helped us all during a very difficult time in her life. These people have one of the hardest , most unenviable jobs in the world and they do it with a smile and love. We are so grateful for all the support they gave mom and the rest of the family.

I am so amazed with how much Vista Del Lago takes care of my mom. My mom was in a bad situation which caused a decrease in her level of life quickly and Vista Del Lago came to the rescue. A therapist came to visit my mom in her home and noticed that she was not being taken care of and that she could not take care of herself. They expedited a doctor to visit her in her home and he saw the situation that was at hand and saw she needed care. When she became a resident of Vista Del Lago, she was put on a good diet, her pills were monitored well, and activities were used to help promote her wellbeing while she was in serious need of care. As I visit Vista Del Lago, I have found that the nursing are well attentive to moms needs. When she is not doing well, they find the answer quickly and take steps immediately to help her be herself. The administration staff is all attentive to moms needs and care, the activities staff are also focused on her wellbeing. There have been some changes from the beginning of moms care to now and incorporated teams named, Guardian Angel and Otter Crew. I love that they assign someone in charge in each area for moms wellbeing. I email staff and receive emails. It doesnt stop there. I text and call for ANYTHING and there is a response. And much to my surprise, I receive texts and phone calls when I dont even check in. They are there for every aspect of moms needs and I so appreciate what Vista Del Lago has done to transform my mom back to who she is and make sure she is happy. There is also a protection aspect that is phenomenal for the care of mom. Who does that? Vista Del Lago does! Thank you Vista Del Lago for saving my moms life and enhancing her stay with you the best she could ever have.

My father is a resident at Vista Del Lago. The staff is professional, caring and very hands on. They keep the residents busy with fun activities and events. Its hard to put someone you love is others hands but the people know what they are doing and do an excellent job. Hana, the assistant administrator and Christina, one of the care givers are just a couple of the examples of the great people working there. Thanks for the job everyone there does.

I wanted to share a few words about the amazing experience my family has had with Vista Del Largo. I recently moved my mom from another assisted facility and we couldnt be more happy about the move. The staff is warm and friendly and gets to know the residents and their interests. Channa, Maria, Beatrice, Claudia and Steve take the time to know the family and have a great email that comes out daily to show pictures of what theyve done that day, giving the family a sense of the community. The staff is always interested in knowing anything that can help them better to engage residents, for instance, they organize many activities to keep the residents engaged like fun outings, animals that come for them to pet, country fairs and nail painting Saturday for the ladies. What really made the transition process special was how they have helped me learn how to redirect my mom and deal with the process of adjustment. I feel very fortunate that my mom was accepted into this assisted living. Its like home. I know my mom is safe and well cared for, and really, what more could a family member want for their loved ones? Thank you Vista Del Largo!

Ive never written a review before but I felt that I needed to for Vista del Lago Senior Memory Care. I am so pleased about the care both my Mother and Father are receiving at this place. My parents were at another facility that just didnt seem to fit all of their needs. We moved my parents to Vista del Lago and we couldnt be more pleased. ALL of the staff from the Admin office to the caretakers, nurses, and food workers are dedicated, caring, and very supportive of my parents along with every other resident there. Myself and my siblings visit very often and everyone is always so positive and uplifting. They have really taken the time with my parents to find out what they like, what they can do, and who they are. They really care. The patients are treated with grace, respect, and dignity. I dont worry about my parents care. I know that they are being treated with love.

My father-in-law has been in this facility for a few months now and he has been receiving excellent care. My husband visits daily and sees the daily operation and has peace of mind knowing if he misses a visit his father will be cared for properly. The caregivers are always very sweet with the residents and are available whenever we need assistance during our visits. Daily he is taken out for activities and I appreciate that he isnt left in his room alone all day. The staff is great and the director is always available and present for any of our needs.

My uncle moved in several months ago from another place and boy, what a difference!! I usaully dont write reviews, but in this case I feel so grateful that I want to let people know. The director, Channa is a first glass person, so genuine and caring. The caregivers actually CARE!!! I go there very frequently and I never get let down, My Uncle is always clean and out of his room interacting with everybody and by the way the room is always spotless! so different than the other place. I totally would recommend this place to anybody that cares for there family
