This facility is amazing! My mom has lived here for a year and a half and we feel so blessed to have found Via Monticello. The caregivers are SO kind, treat all of the residents with respect, and the facility is always clean. The chef prepares amazing meals, they have cute little activities for the residents every day, and even have fun gatherings (like 4th of July BBQ) for families as well. The facility does a great job communicating with family, help with coordinating needs with doctors, and have people who come in to give residents haircuts/and nail trimmings. If you are looking for a wonderful home for a family member we absolutely recommend Via Monticello!

We placed our Mom and Dad at the Villa after touring numerous other facilities. The Villa was hands down the Best choice for our parents needs. The owners are wonderful, very caring and open. The staff could not have been better, they were excellent in everyway. There was always someone there to take care of all the needs of both of our parents. We were informed and kept up to date when it was necessary. We felt confident that they were cared for with love and compassion and we did not have to worry. The facility is beautiful and extremely clean. They have a chef who prepares healthy, fresh meals that all the guests seemed to enjoy. We highly recommend the Villa Monticello. Thank you for all your wonderful care and compassion during this difficult time.

My mother has Lewy Body Dementia and has been a resident at Villa Monticello since October 2023. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of care she receives and the excellent communication I receive from the caregivers. My mother was not an easy placement because of her type of dementia but the wonderful owners of this facility really know how to manage resident care, and they go the extra mile to try to work with the residents and their loved ones. If you are looking for a facility to care for your loved one(s), Villa Monticello should be at the top of your list.

We were there for 8 years, well actually our mom got in there at about when she was 90 years of age and made it to age almost 99. This is like a grape vineyard setting with the hacienda kind of a 2 section house on the top of the hill, the whole thing is like 10 acres. I mean that's the whole property and the residents are all inside the safety yard and it is very pleasant, I would visit my mom and sit with her on the outdoor patio and just look at the scenery. The staff was really good, we got to know them. I remember a few of them that have been there for years and years. They did give great care to my mom. Twice when I showed up there, the Indy 500 Race was on. The staff let my mom, my brother, and myself go to the building next door [part of Villa Monticello] and we watched the race with some other residents, those older folks and the staff had a blast watching the race. My Mother has been at Villa Monticello for almost two years . She is an Alzheimer's patient and had a history of getting out of her bed or chair and falling several times at the two assisted living facilities she stayed at prior to finding a home at Villa Monticello. When I talked to the owner, Orlando, prior to her moving in, he told me they used electronic alarms that attached to the residents clothing and the bed or chair they were in. When they move to stand or walk the alarm sounds and the caring staff are immediately on their way to assist. The alarms work well and are very effective. I couldn't be happier with the care and compassion my Mother receives at Villa Monticello. I highly recommend Villa Monticello to anyone looking for exceptional care for a loved one.

My cousin resided at Villa Monticello for 5 years and was very well cared for. The facility was well-maintained, clean, and felt like home for her & her visitors. The staff were all very friendly and always had quick response to any calls in addition to the usual care being prompt & thorough. In addition to all physical needs being so well met, they provided excellent entertainment in the form of intellectual games, fitness exercises, reading, & music. At the end stages, a huge burden was taken from my shoulders due to their increase in level of care & concern & attention to the many changing needs of my cousin. I am thankful that they were here for our family & recommend them to you.

Im not much of a review person as a matter of fact I think this is my first ever Google review! I wanted to take this time though to post this review of Villa Monticello. We moved my dad here January 1st 2019 not long after my mom passed and dads memory became worse and worse and it became very difficult to manage him at my sisters home. We struggled mightily to find a home for him where we felt he would be comfortable and well cared for AND a place we like too! Well hes been living at Monticello for nearly 1 1, 2 years now and we are so pleased. They take such good care of him AND us! He always tells us how comfortable and cared for he is. With the outbreak of Covid-19 we starting hearing of major outbreaks in nursing homes throughout the country and we naturally became concerned but the staff at The Villa were extremely proactive. They restricted visitation very early on (the beginning of March). At first we werent sure this was a good move for dad or us but looking at stories everyday in the news, we are so very grateful that The Villa took this pandemic seriously as all the residents and staff have remained healthy and unaffected by the virus and keep dad safe and happy. After a couple of months we can now have window visits and it has been great for us and dad. We love to see him so healthy and happy. Hes not entirely sure whats going on but he always ends our visits with dont worry about me, they take good care of me and Im fine. My entire family are so very grateful to the owners and all the staff at Villa Monticello for their commitment and dedication before, during and after this wretched pandemic. We dont know what we would do without you!

My mother is a resident at Monticello. I have found the staff to be very caring and attentive to the residents needs, in every way. I realize taking care of this population is a challenge, at best, and I know that the staff does their best. They do have on-going activities for the residents with Melissa, the activities director. They also provide high quality meals. The chef, Margaret, does an amazing job preparing everything from scratch, and she has a genuine concern for each residents meal preferences. Monticello is a good choice for any family looking for caring, personalized care for their loved ones.

This is a wonderful place of compassion and love. My husband was there for 15 months. He just passed away after suffering from Alzheimers Disease. He received such tender loving care. If you are looking for a small facility, I would say run,,dont walk to inquire if this is the right place for your loved one.

My Mom was with Ruby and Orlando Dy at Villa Monticello from January 2015 until her death in June of this year (2017). I cannot begin to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the care and love my mom received from the Dys and the staff at Villa Monticello. Mom received 24 hour care and our family was confident in the care she received. They worked with us as my moms memory declined and her needs changed. We were able to keep my Mom at Villa Monticello, during these changing times, until her recent death. Not having to move my Mom again, was a great relief to us as a family. Villa Monticello also coordinated her care with Hospice. A good friend of mine referred me to the Dys. They had cared for my friends Mom until she passed away. Im so glad that I took my friends advice and placed my Mom with Ruby and Orlando at Villa Monticello. The entire staff became like a family to my Mom and we are deeply grateful for them all as they came alongside us and my Mom. With heartfelt thanks.

In addition, the staff has many activities planned through the day to engage the residents to continue to be both physically and mentally active. I absolutely love Villa Monticello. My mom is 88 years old with dementia and in a wheel-chair. We have moved her 3 times in 2 years and finally have found the perfect fit. I have no complaints at all. The facility is very clean, homey, and in the most beautiful piece of property. Her room is perfect and has a door to the outside where we sit on a porch area with nice piped in music and look at the view. The staff is wonderful and very personable. They know what my mom likes and dislikes. The chef is great and makes the best meals and even plates it like you are in a 5 star restaurant. There is some kind of activity usually going on. They exercise in the morning, sometimes play games, singing, and there are always puzzles going on the tables. I always feel welcomed every time I am there. The staff have become friends. They show sincerity in the care they provide. I tell everyone I know what a wonderful place this is.
