This review is long overdue! My mom, who has advanced alzheimer's have been staying here since 4/25. I admit. I was little worried when I read the reviews here. However, after 2 weeks, I learned that this place has many, many, many good people with few bad but I'll take it bc anywhere you go, there will be those few bad. How they handle the few bad, makes the world of difference. They take actions here if you speak up. I go to this place almost everyday. They rarely smell bad. Most resident looks happy. Everyone does their job well, and with a smile on their faces. They give my mom a shower 3x a week, changes the bed sheet very often, checks on her diaper often, feeds her, and everything in between. Everyday I visit, I walk into a situation where a CNA is handling my mom gently and lovingly, even when my mom is looking at them with evil eyes because she is agitated. Sorry guys! I have to give some shout out here to specific people who's been outstanding: Patrick, the Administrator with compassion, has open door policy. His door is always open. He even eats his lunch with the door open! Anyone can just walk in and talk to him. He is easily accessible, which I took advantage of, way too much! Sorry Patrick! He will do everything he can to make things happen to keep my mom safe, and me, happy. Roj, the Director of Nursing. Wow... She is a busy busy gal but always make sure to say hi and she's got one eye on back of her head to see everything. It isn't her job but when she's in her office, she makes sure she keeps her eyes on my mom to make sure she doesn't fall. Thanks Roj... You are a sweetheart.... Irene, CNA. She goes above and beyond the call of duty, to keep my mom safe from falling. She is efficient, fast, compassionate, you name it, she's got it. When I show up and I see her, I almost feel like I could just go home and leave my mom in good hands. She knows each and everyone's weaknesses and needs, and she accommodates them. She is compassionate and is a gem. George, CNA. He also is a gem. I am not around to see what George does, but from my mom's roommate, I hear what he does to keep my mom safe from falling. He also goes above and beyond the call of duty. He is calm and compassionate and when I have a worried look because I have to leave, he always tells me, "Don't worry. I got your mom. I know what makes your mom happy - - Yogurt!" haha. Thank you George! CNAs Ranjeet, Letti, Kaylaila (CNA but recently became a nurse), Ivan, the physical therapist, and darn I forgot the speech therapist's name, and so many that I got to know who I forget their names, are so good at what they do and does it with a smile on their faces, even with difficult people like my mom, and she can be down right difficult when she gets agitated. Thank you all! I may have a chance to transfer my mom to memory care which may be the best thing for her; however, I'm hesitant, because everyone here pitches in to keep my mom safe, clean, and well fed and now, everyone who works here feels like they're my friend...

I have no complaints,so far my mom staff is great her physical therapy,CNA etc it is a nice place ,j give this place 4 thumbs up, the food is awesome and smells good my be like it's a lot you want some and my comon since saids no, but my stomach had said just get a little ‚‚‚,

My Mother in Law has been at Greenridge for two months now recovering from a severe stroke and receives excellent care by a caring staff. Jazdeep and Livingson, in particular, have always been helpful, upbeat, attentive, and professional in administering their nursing care. During this difficult period in our life, the support and assistance with nursing, therapy (thanks Ivan), and overall medical-related issues has been welcome and much appreciated.

Since my mom has been at Greenridge she has gotten excellent care! I have seen too many facility's in the past and they all have certain smells when walking in the building, not here. Here I have noticed the CNA's take great pride in keeping their patients well groomed and clean with frequent checks on the patients that can not use the bathroom on their own. My mom is completely incontanent and they make sure her diaper stays dry snd clean. I have been caring for my mom at home for many years and it has gotten so difficult. I could never imagine putting my mom anywhere except for home. I feel completely at ease having my mom here! There has been a couple of times issues have arisen because no place is perfect but when I brought the issue to the staff they immediately helped me to get it corrected. One day when I arrived the staff came up to me and thanked me for the nice things I said about them when on a random state inspection nice things were said about them when the inspector went into my moms room. They assumed I said them, the fact is my mom told the inspector how nice they treat her and that she likes it there! My mom has never wanted to go to a facility at all! Knowing she feels safe and at ease here makes me happy! She has had several strokes and is nearly stage 5 kidney disease caring for her has been very overwhelming and difficult I am Grateful to Greenridge!

I am very pleased with the care my dad received at Greenridge Nursing home. There are so many extraordinary people working there. True every day heros. Staff often went above and beyond. My dad enjoyed the meals and when he needed something extra from the kitchen they were always happy to Oblige. I have been moved by encouters I witnessed between the staff and patients. Nice location in the El Sobrante hills.

Have a close friend rehabbing there and so far the staff have been very nice, the location is quite nestled in lots of trees up in the hills.

Nice place to recuperate after bi-lateral knee surgery. Most all the staffers were friendly and went out of their way to help!! Got kinda tired of the same menu for breakfast, day after day!! My roommate, Anne B & her loving husband, John, were a delight. Couldn't have had better!! Had a wonderful time watching for the "wildlife" outside our window. Deers, Coyotes, wild Turkeys, Racoons, etc. Not a quiet place, but that's to be expected!!! Home now and glad to be, but sometimes it's just too, too quiet!!!!
