My name is Anna and I provide a service for Avista. I have witnessed on several occasions where the residents make a concerted effort to welcome new residents and staff. The staff is genuinely happy and the residents are a reflection of how well the facility is managed. The camaraderie between staff and residents makes for a healthy atmosphere as well.

My mom has been at Avista for 10 months and I can't say enough about the amazing staff. My mom initially agreed to go to Avista for 3 months. Well, 3 months came and went and she doesn't ever want to leave. She loves the staff, food, activities and her "apartment." She said it feels like she is on a cruise. Jake, the activities director is such a blessing to all the residents. He is an amazing talent and really goes all out to give the residents an awesome experience. All of the staff are amazing, from the chefs, to the kitchen staff, the director, sales, receptionist, Regina - in laundry, the housekeeping staff, I wish I could name them all, and the volunteers who host entertainment on Wednesday. This place is amazing.

Avista is always very accommodating and do everything they can to fix any issue you may have! I feel they genuinely care about their residents and treat everyone as family. They have great activities including, happy hour on Wednesday and shopping Friday's. I would recommend anyone looking for assistant living to give Avista a visit.

In my career, I have worked in many communities such as Avista, and I can tell you this place is special. The staff clearly care a lot about the residents and put in . Jake the Activties Director is amazing, he always has something going on that enriches the body, mind, and spirit. It's very evident that he tries to have an activities planned for ALL residents and keeps them constantly engaged. It has been such a pleasure working with The Avista Team! I can't recommend this place enough, if you are on the fence come by and take a tour.

Avista is a community when you walk in you get a warm greeting from our residents. Residents at Avista are one of the spotlights of our community. Our community has an engaging monthly program filled with events such as happy hours, trivia fun, daily exercise, afternoon movies in our movie theatre, poker club and such more. Our resident programs has their hands full with ideas and engaging activities for all residents. The care of our residents is great. The caregivers and med techs are their when our residents are in need of any assistance. The Directors of our community are very helpful and care for our residents. Overall Avista has been an great community and recommend the community for your loved ones.

The environment at Avista Senior Living is quite unique to say the least. The staff here goes above and beyond for its residents and are all very attentive and caring. You can immediately tell that the residents have a very special relationship with everyone that works here as soon as you walk through the front door. Management and staff always put the residents needs first, no matter what. During the pandemic they did an excellent job at keeping everyone safe and healthy, dining services accommodated everything so that residents could enjoy every meal in the comfort of their homes as well as trying to keep them connected with loved ones by providing frequent facetime calls and socially distanced visitations. My Avista family takes great care of me. The activities are well-thought-out. We start out our days with exercise then move to games, small-group discussions, music, singing, dancing, movie viewing, cooking demos and more. Life Enrichment Director, Jake Gutierrez, and his assistant, Cindy Martus, pull out all stops to give us productive activities. A senior living facility, like Avista requires a nursing staff that is knowledgeable, kind, available and serious about their job. Blasia Lee-Lole our Health and Wellness Director, has been known to make doctor calls for residents who were unable to reach doctors on their own- That is going above and beyond, in my opinion. Feeding seasoned seniors can be a major challenge, and ours are no different. We had a menu chat last week and our residents came loaded for bear. Chef Arlene graciously and professionally answered every comment and question. One male resident summed up the meeting this way: We came in ‘charged up with negative attitudes; we left with positive opinions. Chef Arlene quietly and calmly turned everything around. It was great!

Avista Senior Living is such an amazing environment! The culture here is great and very ordinary. The employees are very sweet, motivated, patient, and positive. The residents always have activities to do here whether its being creative, spiritual, or even just being out and about. Every Wednesday our activities director sets up social hour to where the residents have access to open mic, dance floor, and a drink! The employees also have access to dancing with the residents and to sing! The staff including the management team are always puts the residents first. Asking how our staff kept our residents safe during the covid 19 pandemic? Our staff would go to residents apartment to do activities and it was there choice of activity. Keeping the residents satisfied and happy as possible.

My grandma lives here and I'm impressed. The room is really nice, spacious enough to fit a full or queen sized bed, dining table, tv/dresser, recliner. she has a small kitchenette (fridge and sink) with storage and counters, a walk in closet, bathroom, and second closet. she's on the first floor and has a little patio and can have pets for extra $. She raves about the food. and they organize outings.

This community has been everything we expected and more. They are providing my sister and I with everything we need and they treat us like queens. The whole facility just feels warm, comfy, and like were at home. The food is good, the menu is good, and they have an excellent chef. You can even request a special meal and they will give it to you. For activities, they offer things like live entertainment, a lot of get-togethers, bingo, poker, and bible study. I would definitely recommend this facility. They give us everything that we could want.

After 5 weeks in rehab i feel like i,am in heaven my home for the last 7 years. Rehab was O.K. what do you do for 23 hours,.fighting for help or med,s poorly trained,had me feeling sorry for the few good employees. Love it here. Hugh F.
