This week I hosted a large birthday party for my father who is a resident at Valencia Terrace. The chef, Jared, plus the supportive staff, and administrators were very helpful and provided a 5 star experience throughout the entire process! My father and his wife have resided here for 9 months and Valencia Terrace is a beautiful, safe, and friendly facility. The staff is warm and friendly (even to the "difficult-to-love" residents) and the administrators know and greet each resident by name. Jared, the Dining Services Director, did an incredible catering event for my dad's 100th birthday celebration! Each item at the buffet was delicious! The beef brisket was bursting with flavor, tender, and cooked to perfection.The barbecued chicken thighs were moist and very tasty, too. Every food item was presented well and arrived at the proper time. Jared's hard work, culinary expertise, and attention to detail was greatly appreciated! He was also easy to work with and very pleasant at each of our meetings. To Jared and his support team, thank you immensely for providing outstanding service!

My mother has been living in independent living at Valencia Terrace for about six months and it has changed her life! She's become super active and enjoys all the social events and exercise classes. She's made so many friends and talks about how wonderful the entire staff is to everyone who lives there. She also loves the food options! I can't recommend Valencia Terrace more. Your home is a very nice one. The staff takes good care of my friends. The only improvement I can see needed is with your food. Teach your cook how to cut the meats properly and buy a better quality of ground round. The fat content in your current providers makes it hard to eat as there is grissle in it and then hard to digest. A cooked vegetable (soft) daily would also improve your menu. It is hard to customize for everyone but your residents with ostomy bags diets must be addressed. I have been a caregiver since the 1980's and as far as residential care goes yours is one of the better I have seen. Thank you for your time. Lisa Brewer

We had to make the decision to move our mother to assisted living, We have lived in Corona for 20 years and wanted mom close to us. We explored a few options. Once mom saw the grounds with the individual homes and American flags it peaked her interest. She talked about how similar it is to her 55 and older community. As we explored the facility (on paper due to COVID) we were impressed. Every employee we came in came in contact with was knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. The variety of apartments and homes are unmatched to other facilities. The list of activities and amenities is well rounded to accommodate the many different interest of the residents. The staff is informative and sincere. Starting with desk clerks they have been courteous and have directed us the the right person, The Assistant Director answered questions and provided reassurances to our concerns about navigating the property. The nurse has made numerous calls and spoken to us in person, The marketing person was positive, upbeat and sincere. We were informed of the many various living accommodations and pricing was transparent. Our lease agreement was personally handled by the Director who answered our many questions and took time for us. We are looking forward to many years of visiting mom and enjoying having her so close . We are emphasizing that she is just downsizing from her 55 and over community to a smaller more intimate setting with the support of the amazing staff.

My mom moved into Valencia terrace a year and a half ago. We were looking for community and we found it and so much more there. My moms health improved, she has found wonderful friends in the other tenants there as well as the staff. She is closer to needed medical care and is in a safe comfortable place in Valencia terrace and has all that she may need there from socializing thru their many events to the meals prepared in the dining room or bistro to the housekeepers and maintenance that make sure her apartment is what she needs it to be. I miss my mom living in our hometown but am so thankful she has found Valencia Terrace it is a huge blessing not only to her but to me as her daughter who lives 2 1/2 hours away. Living here at VT actually was a surprise to me. At first this has been a surreal experience. In the back of my mind I thought I would be visiting. Then when reality hit I came to the conclusion that this was it. My wife was hospitalized and then our daughters took her to a home. I was vaulted to Corona and then I was in VT. I honestly think without actually seeing another facility that this was a great choice. Listening to others about there reviews of other facilities. My daughter made the right decision. I have visited Valencia Terrace a few times over the years. My mom is getting closer to a move from her mobile home and Valencia Terrace is definitely my number 1 pick for her. I'm always impressed with how nice the staff are (they greet you while walking around the community). It's great to see such passionate people working here! You'll see if you go for a tour. The rooms are very spacious and the biggest apartments in any community in town. I love that each room has their own patio or balcony. I would highly recommend visiting this community if you or a loved one is looking for an active Senior community.

I've toured all of the senior living communities in Corona and this one is by far the best and only option to consider. Every staff member is friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely enjoys being there. Similarly, every person who lives there is vivacious and lively. It's exactly the environment I want for my mother that makes family excited to visit and participate with her. The living accomodations, activities, and services are all amazing and offered at an incredibly reasonable price considering everything that is included. I was recently invited to attend a Casino Night event at Valencia Terrace, and it was nothing short of impressive. I'd heard of Valencia Terrace, but hadn't had the opportunity to walk the grounds in person. I must say that it's a very beautiful community, with a very welcoming staff. When I came in, I was immediately welcomed by the front desk, and ushered to another group of smiling faces who were there to hand us our tickets. The residents all had huge smiles as they gambled, the food and drinks were all delicious. At the end of the night, we were asked to turn in our tickets for a raffle and I even won a prize! The best part about this whole event, was that all of their profits went to charity. This is definitely a community that not only cares for its residents, but cares about the greater Corona community as well.

About two months ago, I attended a casino night fundraiser at Valencia Terrace. I had the opportunity to play casino games next to some of the residents and they seemed to happy and well cared for. The community was very nice and full of fun amenities for the residents to enjoy throughout the day. The staff were super accommodating throughout the entire event. A must see if you're looking for a loved one to move into a beautiful community!

I toured Valencia Terrace with my mom as we are looking for a great place for my grandfather. He's not ready yet, but we know where we would love for him to live. He toured and thought the place was way better than what he was imagining. The staff told us that seems to be what a lot of people thing- a nursing home with shared rooms. This community has private apartments better than most apartments I have ever seen out there. They are spacious, full kitchens with all the appliances, large balconies and upgrades. The community had an entertainer singing and there were 30+ residents having a great time. As we walked around there were so many smiles and you can tell the residents are happy and the staff. We were greeted by staff as we walked by which made us feel they are happy to work there. You should check out Valencia Terrace for your loved one!

We (my wife and I) have lived in Valencia Terrace for 4 years now. There are many activities available - including exercise classes, art classes, and lectures on interesting topics. The meals are delicious and VT offers a nice selection of food options. The staff is very professional, kind, and courteous - they always strive to be both helpful and polite. VT is suitable for a wide range of folks - from highly dependent seniors who require a high level of care to folks that are independent and do not require any assistance beyond meals and house cleaning. The facility is well cared for and the landscaping and pool area are especially attractive and inviting to both the residents and also their guests. We are extremely pleased with our casita, the friends we have made, and the caring community we have found at Valencia Terrace.

iF you're looking for a nice place for senior living, you must stop by and see Valencia Terrace in Corona. It's a nice area, with great people working and living there, and so much to do. I've been living here less than a year, and certainly glad I picked Valencia Terrace. Valencia Terrace had their Casino night fundraiser. This was my first time going to Valencia Terrace,the front entrance so beautiful well maintained and serene. Inside the Terrace lobby people having fun playing blackjack, roulette and craps playing with the house chips. The staff had beverages and delicious treats. The beef Wellington was fantastic. The fundraiser provided nonprofit gifts with special items, if your tickets were picked from the drawing. I had a fun time meeting with other members and would enjoy doing that again.

It is definitely difficult when it's time that a parent needs help with daily routines. After researching the area and personality visiting the facility, my brothers and myself felt VT was the best fit. Tara made it that much more easy and we certainly missed her during maturity leave. Granted there will always be challenges when we as the "kids" are now responsible for our Dad's well being, and yes, this facility is a business as much as a home for my Dad; but they seem to have their heart in the right place.

My mother, Evelyn Arundel (or for those of you who know her at Valencia Terrace, Waldi), has been living there for over 10 years. She thoroughly enjoys her spacious apartment and balcony, and absolutely loves to spend time admiring the roses in all the well-kept gardens. As her daughter, and frequent visitor, I'm always impressed with the very friendly and caring staff, the overall positive atmosphere of the community, and the lovely landscaped grounds. I have been here for a year and 7months. I keep waiting for disappointment to set in . Instead it just gets better and better! It is lovely here, comfortable, and lots to do. Lots of excursions to different places, movies, shopping, restaurants, concerts, casinos to name some. Also in house activities, crafts, bing, card games, exercise, chair volleyball, movies, entertainment from the community, karaoke. After much searching after my mom passed, my Dad and I decided to move him into Valencia Terrace about 9 months ago. At first I was worried about how he would adjust, but it needn't have ever been an issue as he is thriving! His apartment is bright and homey, he's met several new people and he's attended several events, especially the musical concerts which he really enjoys. As he said, if you can't find something to do it's because you're not looking hard enough. But what makes it so great, and is a HUGE relief for me is the staff. They truly care and go out of their way to get to know the residents. This is probably the main thing that makes Valencia Terrace so special. I've yet to visit a community quite like it. My Dad and I are both thankful and blessed to have found it.

I looked at a quite a few retirement homes before I choose the place I wanted to call home. It's very important because a move of this nature is quite a big undertaking. When I walked in the front door it felt warm and welcoming. I was greeted pleasantly by some residents who even smiled and said hello! My daughter and I were shown around on a lovely tour by one of the Sales Directors. She showed us different apartment sizes and layouts with views from the balconies. We also saw all the common spaces. We were quite pleased but still had a few more communities that we wanted to check out. When we decided this was the place (MY NEW HOME) the staff were very helpful and even helped pick out a moving van and with all the questions I had. The main question was, "Am I happy?" That is a big YES! There are quite a variety of activities ranging from chair volleyball (being my favorite), games, crafts, choir, outings, guest speakers, music performances, huge pool and spa, social hours- just to name a few. I also serve on the resident council, food committee and I'm an ambassador of the community. There are two dining rooms, which are open from 6:30AM to 6:30PM. One of my happy things... not having to cook for myself! Come on in and see it for yourself. I love my home and I do recommend Valencia Terrace highly. Carol D

Valencia Terrace is a wonderful place to live! My husband and I have been here almost 4 1/2 years in the casitas (smaller homes just outside of the main building that are 1750 Sq ft 2 bed/2bath/den). The pool and spa are a plus! We are allowed to install a customized backyard to our casita and we enjoy it greatly with our dog. The green trees and plants are all beautiful and peaceful. The other residents who live here are amazing and wonderful people!!! Chair volleyball is one our favorite activities- we play 3 times a week! I enjoy teaching crafts once a week and there are so many games and activities offered everyday. I serve on the food committee and I'm the Lead Ambassador welcoming new residents around and helping them integrate into the community. I am also head Librarian. I spent 3 nights in the guest appartment when visiting my aunt , who is in assisted living . The minute I walk in I greeted with smiles and nothing was too much trouble to explain to me . The guest accommodation was spotless , large and airy , an appartment with every kind equipment that you would need to make my visit very comfortable . We're here 3 months already, yet it's a process of slow and easy adaptation . I'm feeling happy and peaceful in my new home. There are many pluses such as beautiful exterior and interior, friendly residents, wonderful good and concerned staff, good food and endless amenities and activities for all. As a clinician and a former Assisted Living Director for over a decade, I highly recommend Valencia Terrace for you or your loved ones. The facility is very inviting and homey. It has a lot of amenities and offers multiple activities all day long. The staff is warm, respectful, knowledgeable, considerate and accommodating. I've had multiple interactions with their staff and you can sense their energy of how much they enjoy working there. The residents always looked well groomed and well taken care of. I especially want to recognize Stephen Pratt, Executive Director and Matthew Molano, Assisted Living Director, for all that they do, not just for the residents, but for their staff. Both are very hands on when it comes to their clients and staffs' needs. It's an honor to be able to take care of our seniors along side these special leaders. Rose A.

My father has lived at (VT) Valencia Terrace for over 5 years. He and my mother started their journey at VT in the (IL) Independent Living side of the community. My mother passed away, my father moved to the (AL) Assisted Living side of the community. For the last 5 plus years dad has been able to call VT home. I would like to acknowledge that Gloria and Adriana in AL are always there to help my dad. Lastly, Dovie THANK YOU for addressing anything that is brought to your attention.

I work in the senior living industry and my loved one lives in a memory care currently. I had the chance to visit Valencia Terrace recently and attended a fundraiser they did for a non profit. I was impressed with the community! I have seen many communities over the years and I think Valencia Terrace is one of my favorites in terms of the accommodations for the apartments. Huge plus to offer full kitchens with a washer and dryer in the independent living section. Assisted living has larger units, too! Needless to say I was impressed overall of all the amenities offered.

I had visited 3 senior living places before coming to Valencia terrace. Walking into Valencia terrace was everything I had wanted for my dad and step Mom. Clean , open , beautiful scenery and The residents were delightful. During my visit they were having a concert by the pool . Everyday there's a list of an activities posted along with happy hour . Food is wonderful and staff is fantastic!!

When my mom needed to move out of her house, we researched assisted living homes in the Inland Empire. We saw that Valencia Terrace had the best reviews in the area. We reviewed their inspection information on the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) website and were happy with everything we saw. We decided to visit all of the best reviewed homes in the area, but told my mom that in the end we would most likely want to choose Valencia Terrace based on everything we had read. After looking at several other places and speaking with their staff, we agreed that Valencia Terrace was by far the best choice. My mom has lived there for several months now and it is everything we could have hoped for. It is often referred to as a “cruise on land,” and that is an apt description. They have many activities, including exercise and art classes, as well as lectures and entertainment. We have eaten in the dining room with my mom many times, and the food is always very good, with a variety of choices. They even offer a full-blown Sunday brunch with an omelet station, waffles, appetizers (shrimp cocktail, anyone?), and two meat/fish entrees with potatoes and veggies. Incredible. All of the staff members have been helpful and friendly, and the aides respond quickly when my mom pushes the assistance button on her pendant. I think that the positive attitude of the staff translates to a positive attitude in the residents, as they are usually very friendly, also. Everyone eagerly looks at all passers-by to say hi. The facility is kept up very well, and they did everything they promised they would to prepare my mom’s apartment for her occupancy. People who visit can’t believe this is what assisted living looks like today. The staff does her laundry once a week, changes her sheets, cleans her apartment, and tracks her down wherever she happens to be, several times per day, to give her her medication. We are beyond impressed! Don’t hesitate to consider VT for your own parents. It is lovely, fun, and friendly. The residents are in great hands.

My Mothers last five years were spent at the Assisted Living section of Valencia Terrace. She received wonderful care and her apartment was all that she needed. She was never at need for most everything she needed. When she ran low on something that they did not supply, and I had not noticed from my last visit, they would give me a call so that she would not go without. Housekeeping does a great job of keeping the rooms and general areas spotless. The staff is just great. Thank you for taking such good care of my Mom right up to and after her death.

Our family searched very carefully before choosing Valencia Terrace. We chose it because it’s not only a beautiful and well-kept facility, but the staff and caregivers are warm and caring and the residents seemed happy. Now that my parents have been there over three years, I would highly recommend VT for the same reasons. My parents have been happy and well-cared for.
