We (my wife and I) have lived in Valencia Terrace for 4 years now. There are many activities available - including exercise classes, art classes, and lectures on interesting topics. The meals are delicious and VT offers a nice selection of food options. The staff is very professional, kind, and courteous - they always strive to be both helpful and polite. VT is suitable for a wide range of folks - from highly dependent seniors who require a high level of care to folks that are independent and do not require any assistance beyond meals and house cleaning. The facility is well cared for and the landscaping and pool area are especially attractive and inviting to both the residents and also their guests. We are extremely pleased with our casita, the friends we have made, and the caring community we have found at Valencia Terrace.

iF you're looking for a nice place for senior living, you must stop by and see Valencia Terrace in Corona. It's a nice area, with great people working and living there, and so much to do. I've been living here less than a year, and certainly glad I picked Valencia Terrace. You can certainly keep busy with entertainment, c;lasses. exercise. swimming, putting, plenty of places to go to, and a nice van to take you. Their highly trained staff is friendly and great at helping you. Come and see for youself. I give it 5 stars.

I have lived here at Valencia Terrace about 12 years and I have always been happy here. The staff is exceptional and the apartments are comfortable and secure. It's a wonderful place to make new friends. The whole community is clean and has much to offer in the way of entertainment and exercise programs. Also transportation is always available. I would recommend Valencia Terrace to anymore looking for a great place to retire.

When my mom needed to move out of her house, we researched assisted living homes in the Inland Empire. We saw that Valencia Terrace had the best reviews in the area. We reviewed their inspection information on the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) website and were happy with everything we saw. We decided to visit all of the best reviewed homes in the area, but told my mom that in the end we would most likely want to choose Valencia Terrace based on everything we had read. After looking at several other places and speaking with their staff, we agreed that Valencia Terrace was by far the best choice. My mom has lived there for several months now and it is everything we could have hoped for. It is often referred to as a “cruise on land,” and that is an apt description. They have many activities, including exercise and art classes, as well as lectures and entertainment. We have eaten in the dining room with my mom many times, and the food is always very good, with a variety of choices. They even offer a full-blown Sunday brunch with an omelet station, waffles, appetizers (shrimp cocktail, anyone?), and two meat/fish entrees with potatoes and veggies. Incredible. All of the staff members have been helpful and friendly, and the aides respond quickly when my mom pushes the assistance button on her pendant. I think that the positive attitude of the staff translates to a positive attitude in the residents, as they are usually very friendly, also. Everyone eagerly looks at all passers-by to say hi. The facility is kept up very well, and they did everything they promised they would to prepare my mom’s apartment for her occupancy. People who visit can’t believe this is what assisted living looks like today. The staff does her laundry once a week, changes her sheets, cleans her apartment, and tracks her down wherever she happens to be, several times per day, to give her her medication. We are beyond impressed! Don’t hesitate to consider VT for your own parents. It is lovely, fun, and friendly. The residents are in great hands.

My Mothers last five years were spent at the Assisted Living section of Valencia Terrace. She received wonderful care and her apartment was all that she needed. She was never at need for most everything she needed. When she ran low on something that they did not supply, and I had not noticed from my last visit, they would give me a call so that she would not go without. Housekeeping does a great job of keeping the rooms and general areas spotless. The staff is just great. Thank you for taking such good care of my Mom right up to and after her death.

Our family searched very carefully before choosing Valencia Terrace. We chose it because it’s not only a beautiful and well-kept facility, but the staff and caregivers are warm and caring and the residents seemed happy. Now that my parents have been there over three years, I would highly recommend VT for the same reasons. My parents have been happy and well-cared for.

My grandmother lives at Valencia Terrace. We are so happy she is surrounded by such wonderful and caring individuals. Even with the challenges of Covid-19 the employees have bent over backwards to hand deliver packages , help residents set up virtual visits, maintain small and safe group activities and so much more. Thank you Valencia Terrace for all that you do for the community!

I cant say enough of Valencia Terrace and its staff! If I could give them a 6 star rating, I would! My husband and I were looking for an assisted living facility for my mother in law. This facility is beautiful and well managed. The staff is incredible! They are professional, knowledgeable and friendly! Special thanks to Stephen Pratt, Jennifer Machado, and Dyan Summerell, who went above and beyond to assist us!

Our search for housing for my dad started in the spring of 2018. He had simple criteria: he did not want to cook every day, he wanted weekly housekeeping and he was looking for small square footage, as he had previously owned several large homes over the years and truly wanted to downsize. We narrowed our search to a few communities in Corona. My wife and I wanted to be close but still give him privacy and freedom. Valencia Terrace was our first choice and, after our initial visit, we were anxious to get the ball rolling. Stephen Pratt was our contact person and made the process seem easy and right. Stephen demonstrated all the features and benefits of living the lifestyle offered at Valencia Terrace. There was never any pressure and Stephen stayed in contact with us when a few issues arose that prevented us from moving forward at that time. When the timing worked for us, Stephen was gracious and understanding, with compassion demonstrated by a person beyond his years. Just as a side note, my dad is very particular about his meals, and after a complimentary lunch and conversations with residents, he feels that he will be living in a resort with a five star menu! The staff and Stephen are all top tier professionals. My wife and I are proud to endorse Valencia Terrace for families who desire that their loved ones enjoy the best living experience after entering the rose garden of their live

First things first. Valencia Terrace has very beautiful grounds and is indeed a resort like community. However I feel they fall short in the real reason why folks come to an assisted living facility in the 1st place - and that is because they need lots of help, care and support and can no longer mange on their own. Valencia Terrace is most suitable for folks who are mostly independent and there is no anticipation that they will deteriorate or need more help in the next 3-5 years. Ive done my research and Valencia Terrace is doing exactly what is required by licensing - WHICH IS VERY LITTLE. And to be honest, most ALFs provide the bare minimum in terms of overall care and health management. There are ALFs that go above and beyond what licensing requires but they are far and few in between. I work in caregiving industry so I have more knowledge than most so I just want to share some insight and offer some suggestions so you can save yourself from hardships and aggravation down the road. The decision to move into an ALF is a difficult one and compounded by the fact that many seniors dont want to leave their home in the 1st place so tackling that is a chore in itself. First - assess your situation honestly based on what YOU see, in your parents (or loved ones) not what your loved one wants, If you see that they can no longer walk well, are even slightly unstable, have difficulty with memory, having trouble taking their medicines, bathing dressing or showering themselves SAFELY than its definitely time for an assisted living facility. Look for an ALF that has nurses, Valencia Terrace only has med techs and only 1 LVN who is the ALF director. Some of the med techs are young, very young and inexperienced. Also if your loved one starts or needs too much help, like needing 2 people to assist them, then they will have to leave Valencia Terrace. My grandmother has been at VT for almost a year now and the residents come and go a lot, they have a high resident turnover and this is because they miss the mark in really meeting the overall health care needs of their residents. The environment is beautiful and comforting and they have a lot of activities too. But our family feels that we will need to move nana to ALF that provides better healthcare oversight ( FYI - all assisted living facilities are beautiful) - LOOK FOR AN ALF THAT PROVIDES GREAT OR COMPREHENSIVE HEALTHCARE OVERSIGHT!!! This very important aspect of assisted living but unfortunately is not a licensing requirement, so youll have to really look, but theyre out there! Good luck and hope this helps.

Valencia Terrace is friendly and caring - a great place to live when you no longer can live on your own. The caregivers really do care, the administrative staff is professional, the food is good and the facilities are beautifully maintained. There are a myriad of activities for the residents.

Along with our adult children, we have been checking out facilities in the vicinity of Corona, California for some months. We chose the home we visited first: Valencia Terrace. The facility and its grounds are beautiful, and beautifully cared for. The meals are varied and delicious -- and served with grace. The staff are warm. Quick to learn each name. Quick to help when we need them. What perhaps has surprised us most, the residents are as a whole very relaxed and happy, friendly and welcoming. We are loving it.

I came here under duress but very soon discovered this place to be more of a resort area than a facility of seniors. Each and every day here I am blessed by a staff that is equally as loving as my own children. Life dont get any better!
