We were looking at moving my dad and his wife into Oakmont's memory care community as a couple in which one spouse required the memory care services while the other did not. We worked closely with Marci to find a way to make that happen. She and her staff were amazing. They were warm, caring, responsive, and went out of their way to help us with logistics. In the end, we could not make it work due to other health issues, but we are sincerely grateful for Marci and would highly recommend Oakmont for the care of their loved ones.

Memory care is never easy, and situations can arise in any community when residents have varying cognitive abilities and care needs. What truly matters is how a community responds when challenges occur. I recently had the opportunity to participate in a meeting with the leadership team at Oakmont after a concern was raised by a family I had referred. I was extremely impressed with Executive Director San Sor and the entire team. They listened carefully, communicated openly, followed all applicable Title 22 regulations, and implemented additional safety measures along with a thoughtful care plan. Most importantly, the family left the meeting feeling heard, respected, and supported. Rather than becoming defensive, the team approached the situation with professionalism, compassion, and a genuine commitment to finding solutions. As a Senior Living Advisor, I know families often share negative experiences, but it's equally important to recognize communities that demonstrate integrity, accountability, and exceptional leadership. Thank you to San Sor and the Oakmont team for going above and beyond to support both residents and their families. I have confidence in this team's dedication to providing quality memory care.

I had the opportunity to visit Oakmont , and I was immediately impressed by how beautiful and well-maintained the building is; the environment feels welcoming, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed for the residents. What stood out the most to me, however, was the exceptional work of the Activities Director, Jewels, who has a natural ability to connect with the residents in a genuine and meaningful way, clearly showing how much she cares about their well-being, happiness, and overall quality of life. She is attentive, compassionate, and highly responsive to the needs of each resident, engaging with them in a way that makes them feel seen, heard, and valued, while her positive energy and dedication bring a sense of warmth and vibrancy to the community. I am currently exploring options for my aunt, as I would like to find a location closer to my home, but this community is definitely on my radar; my aunt truly enjoys activities and staying engaged, so having a strong activities program is very important to both of us, and based on what I’ve seen, this Oakmont property stands out as an excellent choice. Overall, my experience was very positive, and I would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a place where residents are truly cared for.

Every senior living community has its own energy, and you usually feel it the moment you walk through the doors. In my line of work, I visit many assisted living communities, and Oakmont of Concord really shines. Beyond the beautifully maintained property, there is a sense of calm and care here. The community feels (and smells) fresh, welcoming, and well run. But what really makes Oakmont special are the people. The Executive Director San is exceptional. He is warm, approachable, and a great communicator. When he’s not out on the floor supporting residents and staff, he can easily be found in his office often with the door wide open ready to greet any pop-in guest with a smile. Leadership like that is a RARE find! The other directors and coordinators, including Marci, Kammy, Jewell, and Julia Anne, are also wonderful and easy to get to know. Their themed events and holiday celebrations are so well done, the staff gets all dressed up, and you can tell they're engaged and enjoy working together bringing all the fun to the residents. We’ve worked with several families whose loved ones live at Oakmont, and their feedback consistently reflects trust, satisfaction, and appreciation for the care their loved ones receive. Running an assisted living community is not easy. It takes a tremendous amount of team effort which requires not only coordination and dedication but also incredible compassion. Oakmont is filled with people who show up with these qualities day in and day out. Every time I come here, I feel like I am a welcomed guest in someone's beautiful home. I can honestly say this place has masted the art of hospitality. Keep up the great work Oakmont!

I’ve worked with San Sor and the team at Oakmont of Concord for the past two years, and my experience has been consistently positive. I visit many senior living communities, and under San’s leadership, this is one of the best. He’s present, engaged, and clearly sets the tone for the culture there. The community is clean, well maintained, and every time I visit I’m greeted warmly by staff throughout the building. We’ve also collaborated on dementia training and conversations around senior isolation, and the team has always been professional and thoughtful. If my own mom ever needed this level of care, I would feel comfortable having her at Oakmont of Concord.

Oakmont of Concord is a gorgeous, pristine assisted living community. Staff members are attentive and the directors conduct themselves in a professional manner. Importantly, the residents are very engaged in activities, and likely to greet passersby with genuine warmth and politeness.

What really makes Oakmont of Concord stand out from other assisted living facilities is the staff. Our mother was treated like a much loved family member and it made such a difference in the quality of her life during the years she lived at Oakmont. It was truly a home for her and our family took great comfort in knowing she was happy and well cared for. We’re very grateful to have found this particular assisted living facility.

Oakmont of Concord was our mom's home for almost 7 yrs. We appreciate the clean, bright and welcoming atmosphere. While it is a lovely building, its most attractive part is the consistently personal care from staff, who supported her both physically and emotionally. Mom was 101 when she passed, and as her health declined, she was able to remain in her apartment and receive increasing levels of gentile, positive care. Oakmont is an outstanding assisted living facility.

Everything I've seen so far indicates that this is a very clean and desirable location for assisted living. Cannot vouch for it on a personal knowledge basis, but personal visits to investigate would seem to indicate this establishment is above-average.

My mother lived in Traditions at Oakmont from June 2020 until she passed away in February. I cannot speak more highly of the leadership, the staff, and the care my mom received while there. We transitioned her in the middle of covid, and that was incredibly challenging. Susana is amazing - she hires excellent staff and trains them to be loving, empathetic and nurturing. She trains them to not "just do a job", but to truly care for the residents. She understands the issues at hand, and works hard to make life work for each individual resident with their unique needs and personalities. The best thing of all, my mom wasn't just cared for, she was truly loved.
