We just toured Ivy at Cerritos with our parents and were so impressed with the personnel and facility! Olga was so attentive and caring through the whole process. She heard our concerns and helped us all feel comfortable. Our parents ultimately decided that they wanted to remain in their home and start with caregivers but as things change in the future Ivy at Cerritos is at the top of the list!

Our experience at Ivy Park has been very positive. From day one I met Marketing Director, Olga Mejia. Her professionalism, knowledge and support has led me to choose Ivey Park at Cerritos for my mother's next chapter in life. Olga guided me through all the necessary paper work with ease. All of my questions and concerns were addressed and she always makes me feel welcome. Getting into Ivy Park at Cerritos was a breeze and my mother likes it here. My mother uses the SCAN Healthplan at Ivy Park at Cerritos and it's great because the nurse and doctors come to her. The community is amazing and the food is great. From Olga and Kris to Mary and Chelsea, as well as the rest of the staff, are amazing. Everyone is cheerful and supportive. Thank you Ivy Park at Cerritos!

My mom moved into Ivy three months ago and I've already seen such a difference in her. She's doing exercise classes in the morning and finally eating three healthy meals a day. My husband and I eat there with her about once a week and the service is great. Martha the care director is amazing and so responsive whenever we have a question and great on advising us on her needs.

My Aunt has been living at Ivy Park at Cerritos for almost a year now and we could not be more grateful to the staff for taking such good care of her. We did a lot of research when we were looking for a retirement community for her and right away we were impressed with the warmth from the staff and how happy the residents there looked. Any time we have had a problem it gets fixed right away. My Aunt loves the food they serve in the dining room and that she has a menu to choose whatever she wants to eat. She has her group of friends there now where at home she was just by herself all day. They also have a nice big park where they have different bands that come and play.

They are understaffed which leads to not being helped quickly for all needs. The food tastes great for my mom. Mom is safe and that's most important. Lily the Executive Director is never available and not helpful in resolving issues. Not good at her job based on my experience with her only. The housecleaning and laundry do a good job. Activities are fun and mom is happy with them when she remembers to go. Med tech needs more training at speaking with people with dementia, no baby talk. Overall satisfied but the lack of organization and lack of leadership causes stress.

My mom was a resident at the facility originally called The Grove at Cerritos from 2017 to 2023. At first she did not want to move from her home but soon after she got there she was very happy living there. She made many good friends, went to the social activities, liked the food, liked having her apartment cleaned and her laundry done for her. She spent a lot of time in the rose garden or in the lobby talking with friends. She had her favorite staffers like Mary at the front desk, and the many caring caregivers and med techs that took great care of her. The community was always kept very very clean and never smelled like a senior living facility. A few negatives were her dr that was supposed to see her on a weekly basis had not been going for 3 months that we were unaware of. There needs to be better communication regarding medical care. And the closest hospital in an emergency is one of the worst hospitals I've ever seen. My mom had been taken there a couple of times and we had requested our mom not to ever be taken there again but she was. If you are having a true emergency you're better off taking a chance of driving a little further to Los Al or LB Memorial.

Thank you so much Brittney for your kind thoughts. It was a pleasure meeting you and thank you for all your help and understanding during this difficult time. While everyone was respectful, a couple of people stood out that I would like you to know about. L'a Keisha was there immediately to help us with what to do. Rodel was GREAT, thank you for assigning him to Fred the last couple of weeks. Also, Annabeth, his med nurse who called me to let me know of his passing. She was one of Dad's favorites and she was very helpful and sincerely sad at his passing. Leticia in the dining room was also very helpful as we tried to get him to eat. Megan at the front desk is definitely a winner. She recognized each of us by name everyday she was there. A bright smile in a difficult time! The maintenance crew also was very helpful during our move. I am so grateful my Dad was able to stay at The Grove. Thank you again for all your assistance. Blessings to all!
