Today I wish to recognize and thank Alderin Mirzaardeshahi, Maintenance/ Housekeeping, for exceptional Service. I had a persistent plumbing issue that required 3 visits to solve and while he was in the Apartment, on the last visit, he noticed the ceiling light in the kitchen needed repair and he fixed this as well. He was gracious and patient throughout all of this. I have experienced these traits in all of the Folks on this Service that I have interacted with and I am grateful. My Dad has been living at Merrill Gardens in Campbell for a few years, and our family has been so impressed with the level of care and attention my Dad receives from the staff. They have great activities to keep residents engaged, and my Dad has a great community of other residents that have made his living there a positive experience. The facility is clean and all the staff are very friendly. With the level of care and attention my Dad needs 24/7, I have been really impressed with Sarum, Senior Resident Care Director, in particular. She keeps us informed when things come up that my Dad needs, and is always such a pleasure to work with. Sarum is responsive, kind and always has my Dad's health and happiness in mind. Her upbeat attitude and ability to listen to our families needs ensured the proper placement and supports were in place from day one. Merrill Gardens is an Assisted Living Facility located in Campbell. The staff there are very easy to work with, friendly and helpful. Making visiting the facility very comfortable. Due to COVID, they have restrictions to protect their staff. But with a phone call you can get any of your questions answered. I highly recommend this facility for your loved ones. My father moved in to the Garden House (the memory care unit) at Merrill Gardens about 4 months ago. It was a hard change for our family but necessary. And I can't say enough about how the staff at MG have supported us all along the way. Felicia found the perfect room for my father and never pressured us. She was considerate of our budget and very transparent about the facility. Then, I worked with Alex Den, the General Manager. She again was professional, understanding and supportive. I am grateful for the relationship we have built. She and Sarum, Senior Resident Care Director, approach decisions for my father together with me as a team. The staff in the Garden House truly care about all the residents and care for them like family. And they are SO PATIENT, gently and kind. The med techs are angels and I am so grateful for the support and gentle guidance they all provide. Especially as I learn to navigate this new phase in our father's life, and how it overlaps with ours. My father is the healthiest he has been in YEARS. He has no bruises, no sores, no scrapes, bumps or stitches. He has no diaper rash. His beard is trimmed. He no longer has a fungal infection on his head (similar to dandruff but BAD). He no longer itches. He is hydrated! He is clean, safe, fed and cared for. His room is lovely, and the food is really good! And last but not least, Coleen is THE BEST. As the Inspire Connections Program Director, my father is always with his friends, engaged in perfectly curated, fun, stimulating activities. There is no way I could do for him what Coleen and team provide him. My father is a bridge master. And Coleen worked so hard and scheduled him a weekly bridge game. He is so happy, and I am so happy. I know one could pay more for care, but I don't think you can find a better team to take care of your loved one, or to support you as you navigate moving to an assisted living home. Even the maintenance staff is incredible! They even programed my dad's remote and do tech support when he has trouble with his TV. Merrill Gardens is a fantastic home.

My 93 year old mother has struggled living alone. While she is still fairly alert, her dexterity and ability to cook for herself, etc is becoming increasingly difficult. Never thought we would get to this point. She has always been fiercely independent. We started searching for a solution she would like. After having seen some very interesting options we came across Merrill Gardens. My brothers neighbor recommended this location to us. His dad apparently had similar challenges as our mother and is doing so much better having moved into Merrill Gardens. For us, the difference was definitely the administration of the location. Everything good or bad starts with the people at the top and how much they care or don’t care. In the case of Merrill Gardens it’s clear from our experience that this place is well run. Immediately we noticed how Fresh and Clean everything is compared to the other products we have seen. We also noticed how engaged the staff was with the residents. Seems there is a light hearted atmosphere here we had not noticed at other locations/homes. Our tour was with Alex who was especially knowledgeable about our situation. She stated she was the administrator which made my mom a lot happier. She is a bit of a snob about who she listens to. Alex was absolutely a treat to my ears. My mother has been difficult during this whole process. Thankfully Alex was super knowledgeable and helpful. Which put my mother at ease. She even commented that she could definitely feel comfortable at Merrill Gardens. My brother remarked how different mom’s attitude was after this tour. Fingers crossed.

My mother has been at the Merrill Gardens in Campbell for a couple of years now. It is a really well-run and well-managed place!! Hands-down better than any I have ever seen. The facilities are beautiful and clean, and all the staff there are caring and professional. My mother has had some ups and downs with her health and strength, and Sarum and the med-techs are excellent and always responsive! Merrill Gardens was an excellent fit for my mother who lived there for 4 years. The staff is very patient and caring, especially Sarum who directs all the medical related care for residents. The facility had several different GMs during my mom's stay there, but for the most part they did a good job managing all the change in personnel. Also the staff did the best they could managing COVID restrictions during the pandemic. I highly recommend this location of Merrill Gardens!

My mom, myself and my five siblings could not have been more impressed with the facilities and the staff there! The facilities are lovely. The staff are so pleasant and helpful! The Resident Care Director, Sarum Talivaa, is a real gem! Sarum is such a professional, so kind, so caring, so compassionate! Her staff is just as wonderful! My mom’s afternoon/evening medtech (Brian) was fantastic - very proactive if he felt something might be off with my mom! It truly was a comfort to know my mom was in such good hands!

Our experience started with the very knowledgeable and compassionate community relations director Susan who helped us make a very important decision for my dad moving into memory care. She made the process so easy, answered all of our questions, and didn't put on any pressure. This particular senior living facility comprises of everything that a family desires for their own benefit most especially for their elderly family member, to wit: 1) caring, loving, honest, prudent, patient, helpful and hospitable staff, including the higher-ups, 2) safe, decent and inviting rooms, 3) delectable and savory meals, 4) fun and exciting activities, 5) amiable and kindhearted residents and 5) tolerable company rules though covid-19 protocol compliant. I'm very impressed with Merrill Gardens Campbell. The community is very clean and well-maintained. The management and entire care team is dedicate to provide excellent care and service to their residents.

Merrill Gardens has the best community in Campbell. I am a high school student who decided to go there to volunteer and I had a wonderful time. Ms. Calmerin and the staff were extremely kind to me and I really enjoyed my time there. I recommend students who need to get their service hours done to go to Merrill Gardens as they'll certainly not regret it.

All beautiful about this place and location. And that especially includes the staff in the memory unit led by the Head Nurse and Activities Director. My sweetheart of 66 years has dementia and been in their care for close to a year now, and I couldn't be more pleased with the loving care she receives.

Merrill Gardens at Campbell is the nicest community in Santa Clara County! Joyce and Susan have an an excellent team that cares about their residents. I highly recommend this community for anyone who may be looking at Independent Living, Assisted Living or Memory Care for themselves or their loved ones.
