I’m very happy I made the call and came here. Nobody forced me. I called on a Tuesday and then I called my daughter and I said I called Cogir and she said they’re gonna be bothering you and I said we have an appointment to go see them tomorrow on Wednesday. We were here on Wednesday. We were here on Friday & the following Friday I moved in & unpacked. Everything fell into place. I’m very happy I came and I’m not a burden to my daughter. Everyone here is really happy and nice.

My mother recently fell and will unfortunately not be able to go back home safely. I have spent the last month trying to find the right place for her to call "home" and have toured more communities than I care to remember. Cogir of Brentwood is an absolute gem and Edrienne, specifically, is truly a Godsend. The community is so warm and inviting and offers spacious rooms and wonderful amenities. Edrienne helped me navigate the touring process and was an incredible resource, never once pressuring us to move forward with a contract. Her empathy and kindness made the whole process so much better; I am so, so grateful. I was thrilled when my mother selected Cogir of her own accord as the community where she wanted to move. Thank you again for all of your kindness and help!

All the people who work here are excellent, they’re nice & easy to be around. They’re always here for us & it’s easy to get information. Honestly, I’m surprised at how well it works. It’s also very clean. I’ve found the people who come here/live here are so caring. It’s nice to have made friends right away. When my husband got sick, everyone was so caring. There’s a strong sense of community that I didn’t expect. It’s been better than we expected. We also have really good entertainment-really good quality and again pleasantly surprised at how good things are.

Such a warm and comfortable vibe in this community. My mother was happily surprised when she walked into the spacious one-bedroom unit, as she calls it her condominium. She has a full kitchen and washer/dryer. Cogir of Brentwood is a wonderful place to call home. Everyone we encountered was helpful and friendly. We have finally found our home at Cogir after living at 4 other senior living communities. Management & staff are wonderful, thoughtful, warm & they listen to our needs and act on them unlike the other senior communities we've lived at. The food is the best we've ever had; it is excellent. Finally, we've found a place where we feel nurtured & nourished. Damika is the best chef ever & her staff. Lastly, the place is beautiful & clean. We absolutely enjoy living here!

I think Cogir has been a very good choice . It has surpassed all my needs. I lost my partner to death in December. I was happy that I had made the decision to come here before this death happened. The group of friends that I have made have been very supportive. They also offer hospice grief counseling which has been wonderful.

When I fell & broke my hip, it became necessary for my husband & me to promptly find a senior living community. We were pleased with several places but decided on Cogir because the management staff was extremely caring & attentive to our needs. They wanted to know our interests & what activities brought us joy & fulfillment and how it could continue at Cogir. Twenty years ago I founded Kaleidoscope, a non profit 501C3 organization whose mission is to offer connection to people in the community living with cancer. Being a cancer survivor myself & having to give up my teaching career, helping others became my passion. I am pleased to say we LOVE Cogir. I work with a lot of senior assisted living facilities in marketing, My uncle is in this one and I went to visit him. To my surprise the room was spacious and well setup as well as very clean. The facilities themselves were immaculate on the grounds and very clean inside. The surrounding patient demeanor with cheery and all smiles. My mother moved into Cogir in January and tells her friends and family how much she loves living there. She moved there after a short stay in a rehab facility for several broken bones. She needed assistance for about one month and is now on her own. She is self sufficient yet she knows people are around in case she might need help. My mother loves that she can eat whenever she wants although she does enjoy meeting a group of people at the same time every day. I highly recommend Cogir.

Recently had the pleasure of touring Cortona Park in Brentwood. What a beautiful facility! From the beautifully manicured grounds as you drive in, to the impeccably maintained common areas as you enter, it feels more like a high-end resort than an independent or assisted living facility. It was refreshing to see that the staff continues to follow stringent safety protocols for its visitors, while still offering a very warm welcome upon both arrival and departure. Edrienne patiently took the time to answer all of my questions and point out the many features and highlights that make Cortona Park stand out. It was my observation that the residents there are very happy and well taken care of. The apartment homes there are immaculate and well-appointed and the staff is very friendly. It is clearly apparent that there is a wonderful sense of community and cohesiveness shared between employees and residents. If you're looking for a comfortable alternative to living alone for either yourself or a loved one, it would be my recommendation to consider Cortona Park.

I can't say enough about how great this place is. I was surprised at how spacious the apartments are. I have never seen a place with so much room. I met with Edrienne and she was so kind, gave me all the info I needed during my tour and answered every question I had. She mentioned that some staff members have been there for a long time, which for me makes the place even better. Some as long as 13 years! That says a lot. If you're looking for a home that feels like a resort, nice staff and big rooms, then this is your new home!!

I have been involved with Cortona Park over the past 4-5 years, my Mother-in-law was a resident for about 3 years and I recently did a walk through with Edrienne as my Dad was trying to decide to either move to Cortona Park or in with my family at our home. Cortona Park is a great place for seniors, it covers all the basic needs and so many of the enjoyable options anyone would want. There are many activities available and the facility is beautiful and well cared for. The staff is friendly and caring to the residents. If I were at the point of moving into an assisted living facility Cortona Park would be on my list for sure!

When I first checked out Cortona Place I was impressed with how its layout with what seemed to offer a calming atmosphere. Overall, in the two-plus years I have lived here it offers a calming atmosphere, while at the same time allowing me to participate in writing and production of its newsletter, which as sort of an extension of a decades-long journalistic career has become my therapy. As important is that I am in a relationship with a woman whose loving companionship has made getting by during the present pandemic possible.

After communicating with her for several days I understand why she was so highly praised! Edrienne has been exceedingly helpful in helping our family select a new residence for our mother. Her concern for our mother and for all of our wishes was heartwarming and made us feel extremely comfortable. My mother was a resident of Cortona Park for 7 years 3 months. She entered Cortona as independent living and enjoyed her beautiful apartment, staff, food, and the friends she made along the way. Things changed after she lived there just about a year when she fell in the bathroom and severely shattered her leg. Upon her return after 3 months in skilled nursing rehabilitation she required max point care giving which moved her her from independent to assisted living. In the 7 years she was in Cortona the facility had excessive staff turnover; 3 executive directors came and went, at least 250 caregivers and kitchen workers, and a half dozen Chefs. In that period the one constant has been the LVN medical director, which I believe has been the driver of constant attrition of caregivers who are underpaid, overextended, poorly trained and mis managed . The sad part is that Cortona has hired some really excellent people along the way, most unfortunately don't stay. After 7 years we had to move my 95 year old mother into skilled nursing because 2 new & inexperienced Cortona caregivers dropped my mother on the floor while attempting to get her into the shower, breaking her good leg and reinjuring the leg she broke 6 years earlier; two broken legs. She will be in bed the reminder of her lifetime because of our experience at Cortona Park. My observations are based on my daily presence in Cortona over the 7 years.

My mom lived at Cortona Park for several years. She loved every moment of it. She was active in the community from bowling, games, the knitting group, crafts and many more activities. She went on the outings sponsored by Cortina and enjoyed her weekly shopping trips to her favorite store on the Cortina Bus. She had a full 1 bedroom with her own kitchen to prepare meals but most often ate with friends she made there for lunch and dinner. She moved out of state but cherishes her memories of living at Cortina Park. I appreciated each employee who cared for her as needed and kept me informed of her progresses as needed. Everyone was so kind and friendly.
