After our first year, we are pleased to tell the world that Brookdale Brea turned out to be a fantastic place to live. The staff are great and cordial. We find any request is answered quickly and thoroughly with a smile. Our apartment is roomy and almost like our old home. The chef is very responsive to request and we have always enjoyed every meal. Housekeeping is cordial and competent. We certainly recommend Brookdale Brea to anyone no matter how fastidious they might be. On premises hairdresser and manicurist provides excellent services at a reasonable cost. We feel our life is complete here. -Dick and Peggy Dixon

I recently toured Brookdale Brea as I’m helping my dad transition into assisted living, and I was so impressed by everything I saw. From the moment we walked in, the community felt warm, welcoming, and incredibly well cared for. The entire place was spotless, bright, and inviting, which immediately gave me peace of mind. The dining area stood out as well”the menu options looked delicious, and the residents we saw seemed to truly enjoy their meals. It’s clear that a lot of thought goes into both the quality and variety of food offered. What really made the biggest impression, though, was the kindness of the management and staff. Everyone we spoke with was not only professional but genuinely caring and attentive. They took the time to answer all our questions, explain the services available, and reassure us that my dad would be supported in every way. Overall, I left feeling very confident that Brookdale Brea would be a wonderful place for my dad to live, with a safe, clean environment, great food, and a compassionate team that truly cares about their residents.

Brookdale was top notch. The studio apart was amazing. It didn’t look old like other places I had visited. Mr father is independent so the services were just right for him that were included in the monthly rent. Meals, laundry and linen service and meals were included. Staff were professional and friendly. It didn’t matter what day or time I was visiting my dad everyone was friendly. I had complete peace of mind that my father was in a safe environment and all his needs were taken care of.

Our mom has been living at Brookdale in Brea for almost one year. The staff there are beyond excellent. From the front desk through the executive director every staff member we have come in contact with have treated us like family. Brookdale is truly home. Mom is happier than ever, she loves her apartment and enjoys having so many activities available to every resident. The meals are wonderful. We were treated to a special lunch with mom on her birthday, Chef Sylvester did an amazing job and the dining room staff were so professional and kind. Great community! Genuine Staff! Great leadership! Chrissy the Sales Manager, Sarah the Executive Director, and Amber the Wellness Director have done such a great job with me and my family. I know my family can be a pain because there are 6 of us siblings but they are always so respectful and responsive. The staff have become an extension of my own family. Great work to all of you! 🙂

Brookdale Brea was a wonderful decision for my dad. He is so happy with the food, activities and the staff. It was a hard decision for us to place dad in a community. He had lived with us for 3 years and we were used to him being with us but we realize a community with friends allowed us to focus on our relationship with him and not his care. We are very happy we found Brea for him.

My dad has been at Brookdale Brea for about 5 years. The staff here are just wonderful.He recently lost his sweet little dog and the staff were so supportive and kind. They are really helping him get thru this difficult time. We are very happy to have my dad in such a place where people genuinely do care. I highly recommend this assisted living home. I am a Registered Nurse and have a specialty in Geriatrics. My Mom has been at Brookdale Brea for over 6 years. I find the staff and management to go above and beyond the minimum job requirements. They are awesome, knowledgeable and show such care for the residents.

Wonderful place where my mother is. Many activity’s to choose from that go on daily. Staff is wonderful and very attentive to our love ones. Visiting doctors and physical therapist attend there daily to see patients. You’ve made the right decision if your love ones are here.

Dear Sarah and Brookdale Staff, Thank you for the outstanding care you extended to my mother during her years at your facility and especially during her final struggle with cancer. You did a great job of keeping COVID out, and isolating other residents when they brought it in from the outside. My family especially appreciates your sensitivity in assisting my Mom in video chatting with relatives, and allowing carefully screened visits so that her daughter, my sister, was able to be with her when she passed. I was very impressed with the staff's helpfulness and attention to detail, which showed genuine caring and love for my Mom. Your cooperation with the hospice workers was exemplary. We were all impressed with the exceptional friendliness, conscientiousness, knowledge and commitment of the staff to the residents. One of the LVN's even came to visit my Mom on her own time when my Mom was in the hospital for a short stay. We found the facility clean and enjoyable and the food tasty. You made her life as enjoyable as possible and greatly eased our minds. Should I need assisted services I hope Brookdale Brea will be available to help me. Thank you!

My father has lived at the Brookdale Brea location for about four years now and I have to say that it is a wonderful community. Three meals a day, 24/7 care and special events and activities are just some of the amenities provided for residents at Brookdale. The staff members that I have met all seem to be extremely caring people who are highly dedicated to what they do and have really helped improve my father’s overall well being. His fear of injuring himself at home had him, as well as his loved ones, really scared for his safety. At Brookdale, we know that he is somewhere he is comfortable and care is always available. The community is very clean and efficiently run by management who, in addition to being very accommodating to my father’s specific needs, worked to make him feel right at home. I would highly recommend moving a parent into this community to anyone considering assisted living as an option for their loved one!
