I am a Registered Nurse and have a specialty in Geriatrics. My Mom has been at Brookdale Brea for over 6 years. I find the staff and management to go above and beyond the minimum job requirements. They are awesome, knowledgeable and show such care for the residents.

Wonderful place where my mother is. Many activitys to choose from that go on daily. Staff is wonderful and very attentive to our love ones. Visiting doctors and physical therapist attend there daily to see patients. Youve made the right decision if your love ones are here.

Dear Sarah and Brookdale Staff, Thank you for the outstanding care you extended to my mother during her years at your facility and especially during her final struggle with cancer. You did a great job of keeping COVID out, and isolating other residents when they brought it in from the outside. My family especially appreciates your sensitivity in assisting my Mom in video chatting with relatives, and allowing carefully screened visits so that her daughter, my sister, was able to be with her when she passed. I was very impressed with the staffs helpfulness and attention to detail, which showed genuine caring and love for my Mom. Your cooperation with the hospice workers was exemplary. We were all impressed with the exceptional friendliness, conscientiousness, knowledge and commitment of the staff to the residents. One of the LVNs even came to visit my Mom on her own time when my Mom was in the hospital for a short stay. We found the facility clean and enjoyable and the food tasty. You made her life as enjoyable as possible and greatly eased our minds. Should I need assisted services I hope Brookdale Brea will be available to help me. Thank you!

My father has lived at the Brookdale Brea location for about four years now and I have to say that it is a wonderful community. Three meals a day, 24-7 care and special events and activities are just some of the amenities provided for residents at Brookdale. The staff members that I have met all seem to be extremely caring people who are highly dedicated to what they do and have really helped improve my fathers overall well being. His fear of injuring himself at home had him, as well as his loved ones, really scared for his safety. At Brookdale, we know that he is somewhere he is comfortable and care is always available. The community is very clean and efficiently run by management who, in addition to being very accommodating to my fathers specific needs, worked to make him feel right at home. I would highly recommend moving a parent into this community to anyone considering assisted living as an option for their loved one!

I toured this facility and it was really nice. I liked it because it has a homey feel to it. However, it did feel a little closed in and my Mom has claustrophobia, so overall it wasnt ideal. The courtyard didnt have any cushiony seating available either but they said theyd be able to bring pillows out to make it more comfortable. I was able to take a look at the rooms and one of them had a lovely little balcony on it. The prices overall seemed good and I think it wouldve been a good choice for her if it werent for the narrow spaces.

Brookdale is absolutely wonderful. The staff is excellent. You asked them something, they give you a great answer and if they don't know, they call up someone who can help. The food is very good there. They just had a branch for the Thanksgiving holiday that was wonderful. Thy have activities going on every afternoon such as sing-alongs, live music, and games. It's also very clean here. They are always cleaning. This community is excellent, I'd definitely recommend it.
