Pinewood Glen is devoted to providing independent living in a warm, homelike environment that our residents appreciate.
The residents staying with us love the support and help they get while also enjoying their privacy. Seniors have their choice of studio, 1 or 2 bedroom units. Apartments with private baths and kitchenettes are also available. We are incredibly proud of our Bakersfield staff members. The employees here are 100% committed to the care and well-being of our residents. Pinewood Glen meal plans that are prepared with fresh ingredients daily from specially designed menus. We also offer snacks between meal times. Private dining, family style, cookouts, picnics are all available for every style of meal that could be desired. We can accommodate for nearly every type of diet.

Not counting last sunday's murder, a lot of people here don't follow the rules. Their are a certain amount of people smoking in their rooms, and if they should fall asleep, they endanger others. P:eople speeding by lobby and dining room full speed on their scooters, people leaving the outside doors open so they can go in and out, food service can be slow because people, starting half an hour before meals, visit the staff trying to get breakfasts ready, wanting coffee and water before meal time, etc, People that let their dogs run loose outside, and or don't pick up there poo, etc. There is more to it, but we tell Grace, she tells the people, and they flat out ignore her, which to me, is like giving Grace a slap in the fast, disrespecting the rules. Also Grace has friday thru monday off, so we are basically on our own if something happens--and a lot of theft of our personal property by "fellow" tenants. Thank YOu--------------#207
