Yes, my mother in law has been there for 6 months now. We have been extremely happy with the whole staff. Very caring at all times. We have never walked into a bad experience She has a wonderful supportive group. She was very hesitant about staying there but now seems that the Whispering Winds staff has become her extended family. We are very comfortable about having her there. Yes absolutely we recommend Whispering Winds.

The people that live here are able to maintain their independence but able to receive assistance if needed. It's a wonderful little community of people that all have similar problems. The staff here really work to make sure all they can do to make their lives comfortable. There are always things to do so they stay busy and make friends. The staff is always very helpful and nice. The property is well kept. Having your loved one here would be a breath of fresh air and a weight off your shoulders

A message from Bonnie Pless Because of my vast experience in working with this type of facility and its residents I have observed nothing but good with the higher ups and the staff.Theyve shown courtesy and kindness.In particular I would like to mention the executive director, Laurie, who runs a tight ship but Ive also noticed sweat running down her face wearing an apron doing clean up. My mom and my family im not be more pleased with this facility! My mother is flourishing more than she has in 8 months . I visit my mom every day and I am 100% satisfied with the service and care. I hope this place is here when Im retired:) I posted a picture of us dining in the family room and a picture of my mom painted in one of the art classes here!!!

This facility is absolutely amazing. The staff and office staff are so friendly and helpful. The facility itself is beautiful and well maintained The food for residents is fabulous. After visiting other locations, Whispering Winds was beyond all of them. My sister-in-law has thrived and seems so content. I couldnt ask for a better place.

The employees, Director, and administrator that we dealt with at Whispering Winds were so kind and compassionate and caring.You really dont find this kind of personal care at many places these days. The facility was clean the residents were happy.

This home for our 90 yrs. young Mom is a blessing. Shes NEVER been on her own and she is so excited about her new adventure! The place is beautiful, its warm, homey and most important is the staff. They ALL have the 3 Es ...excitement, energy and enthusiasm. They know the residents by name and are so kind to them and their families!! I can see how hard they work yet still smile! There are so many activities for the residents. Cards, puzzles, music, crafts, exercise, gardening, bingo (my Moms favorite) walks, Holiday parties, and a dining area comparable to a high end restaurant! The food is delicious and Senior Healthy! Theres a beauty salon and they made mom feel and look beautiful and cared for. They even have a pet pot bellied pig out in the garden area! The apartments are spacious and clean and the services are met to each residents individual needs! I am so grateful that we found this place for Mom! She says its her Little piece of heaven! My Brother made a sign for her and hung it in her apt. If any Families out there are looking for a place for an elderly parent, please check out Whispering Winds!

This place is wonderful! The staff is friendly and helpful; as well as the residents. There are several food selections for each meal, and the food tastes great. Each week we receive a newsletter with the activities and menus for the week. I am so grateful to have been able to move into this complex. I feel safe and couldnt ask for a better location.

Whispering Winds is the best Senior Living place! If you or your loved ones are looking for a place to live, this is the place you should check out! Every one of the staff, from the office people, receptionists, nurse, attendants, cleaning people, cooks, servers, maintenance workers and any others I cant think of right now, are very nice and attentive to all residents and visitors. They know all residents by name and go out of their way to help them at all times when needed. The place is spotless and so homey and cozy. My mom was not happy she had to leave her home but now loves it and looks forward to eating and visiting with her friends.

Went to go visit my grandmother while I was in the area. Had a little bit of trouble working my way around but super glad Kristine was there that day. She took really good care of both me and my grandmother on this visit ??

My mom lived at Brookdale for a little over one year until she developed dementia and needed memory care. The people at Brookdale Apple Valley are top notch! They not only treated my mom like family, but they treated me that way as well when I called and when I visited. The residents are top notch as well, taking my mom in the fold when she moved in and continuing to be her friend during her time there. I will miss everyone at Brookdale Apple Valley very much. If you have a loved one who needs some extra help, check this place out. You won't be disappointed!

I toured this facility while looking for a place for my Mother. This is a nice community but not as nice as some of the others I toured. The reason why I liked this facility is that its smaller and my mom wouldnt have gotten lost. However, it just wasnt the perfect fit for her. The building is well kept and the rooms have a kitchenette in them. All of the residents I saw seemed to be really happy but they didnt have very many activities to do. The person who gave me the tour was very nice and knew everyone by name. I would recommend this facility to other families.

I lived here at Brookdale for 5 years. It is a nice place. They had good caregivers and they work hard. I had a lot of friends here. It was always nice and clean. I would recommend this community. It just got to expensive for me so I had to go elsewhere.
