My Mom has been treated with the utmost respect!!! I live locally and I visit my Mom at least weekly and constantly see the staff and management giving the residents and family members the best care. Activities are fun and interesting and the dinning room has delicious and nutritional food. Management staff Juan and Angel care are always available to answer my questions and meet my needs.

Volunteering at Oakmont of Mariner Point was truly a heartwarming and enriching experience. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by friendly staff who were more than happy to guide and support me throughout my time there. The community is beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintained just walking through the halls gave me a sense of comfort. What stood out the most was the genuine care and attention the team gives to the residents. Every interaction I witnessed was filled with kindness, patience, and respect. I had the opportunity to assist with activities and spend time with the residents, who were incredibly sweet and full of wisdom. Their stories and smiles made my day every time. The leadership at Oakmont is also worth praising. They are organized, compassionate, and clearly value both their team and the residents. I’m grateful for the chance to be a part of such a positive environment, even briefly. I’d gladly volunteer again anytime

We loved our experience at Oakmont and are so grateful for their highest quality service, location, and care. Our mom was not able to move there from her apartment across town until her last month of life, which we did not know at the time. She loved Alameda, and she loved her apartment and time at Oakmont, however brief. She adored the views from her window, the stellar views from the dining and activity rooms, and the entire five star facility. The staff were amazing and deserve our highest praise. Though Mom did not get to enjoy the full facilities often due to her health issues, my sister and I were there for a full month every day with her until the end and we felt at home and taken care of 100%. We can attest to the utter compassion that everyone on the staff had for our mom, for us and our situation, and we did not have to worry about anything except taking care of Mom. She even had her beloved cat there with her and he loved it too! From the caregiving staff to the reception to management to the dining staff to the activity staff to the med techs, every single person we came in contact with was so compassionate, loving, friendly, helpful. It's a real gift that someone can enjoy their last month of life in such comfort, care, and joy. It was a fantastic place for friends to come and visit and spend time with her. We even had meals in the dining room with visitors, as well as getting much needed nourishment for ourselves during that month. And the food is delicious! Thank you Oakmont for making our mom's time with you so wonderful, safe, and with such style. She always loved living independently, and Oakmont gave her the opportunity to do so even as she received medical care in hospice. Thank you, thank you thank you and the people of Oakmont are always in our prayers.

Hi - I had a chance to spend a few days with mom at Oakmont this week I was very impressed with your teams’ care staff, and the great job they do with all of their varied responsibilities. Though there are many competent staff on day and night teams, ***** (workers name withheld for privacy), showed love for mom and others, that was heartfelt and genuine. She also took time to connect with our family in many little, but sincere ways. She could write a book on loving the elderly’ in her care, but a 2 minute video of her doing her thing’ would tell the whole story!! As you can see from the pictures, this Oakmont is a lovely place at the Marina. The living arrangements are like that of a five-star hotel. The staff is so friendly and helpful. When I visited my friend, I was pleased to see he was eating good food, the best of care from staff and it is easy to get to Oakmont. The community is thriving with plenty of stores to shop from: Safeway, Target, and a plethora of dining areas.
