My dad moved into The Victorian about a month ago after a long hospital stay. We were looking for a place that offered both independence and a little additional support, and The Victorian has been a good fit. Melissa and Norman were especially welcoming and made the transition smooth and relatively stress-free for my dad and our family. Their care and responsiveness made a real difference. Having three meals available and weekly housekeeping is just the right fit for my Dad. The lovely garden stands out from many other residences we visited, and we also love that the building is pet-friendly.

A friend of mine moved to The Victorian on Feltham Road a couple of weeks ago. The experience has been wonderful from the very first moment we booked our appointment to tour the place. The staff is incredibly helpful, warm, and kind. They made the entire process very easy for my friend. She is having a great time living at The Victorian. The grounds are stunning, the building is well maintained, the food is amazing, and the residents are welcoming. It stands out that the staff calls everyone by name. The community environment has exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great independent living community.

Beautiful grounds, super friendly staff, very quiet with all the extra care that may be required available inside the building. Norman & Melissa were fantastic helping my mom get settled & providing support through her first week there. We highly recommend the Victorian!

My Mom Moira lived at The Victorian for 5 years and was very happy to call this lovely place home. The grounds are wonderful, the suites clean and roomy and comfortable. Mom always felt supported and safe. She enjoyed the gardens, the view and many of the activities as well as her privacy and independence within this retirement community. I am writing this review in regards to my 90 year old Father. He has been residing at the Victorian since February 2025 after my Mum passed away. He has no short term memory due to age related dementia but is functional with his personal care and is mobile with his cane and walker. It has been a difficult journey for my siblings and I in transitioning our Father to living in a new and different environment. To this day, it is still a work in progress due to his dementia BUT because of the incredible Victorian staff and Chris (manager), their patience and understanding of our situation has made the transition less stressful. If I could, I would give The Victorian 10 stars!

My dad has been living at the Victorian for just over a year since the passing of my mom. Chris the general manager along with his team members have made my dad’s living transition from his family home to his new home at The Victorian much better and easier than we expected, as English is not my dads first language. Whenever I go visit, the staff are always pleasant and welcoming. A shout out to Satina who usually works in the evenings, as she looks out for my dad when he wonders out of his room and looks confused. I am very grateful that he is very well taken care of by everyone that works there. I have an elderly friend who we moved into the Victorian on Feltham Road almost 3 years ago and both he and I have been thoroughly pleased with all the amenities and wonderful staff who we have dealt with ever since. The food is superb and the cleanliness is exceptional. The residence is peaceful and the amenities well presented. My friend enjoys the mutual interaction he has with his meal companions and the never ending response he receives from the staff at the residence. I would not hesitate to recommend The Victorian on Feltham to a family seeking a place for a loved one to enjoy their elder-years.

Take Cover Band Victoria

Mom is having the best time here at the Victorian after less than 2 weeks! Super friendly and helpful staff, 3 meals a day and lots of activities including bus trips. Felicity on housekeeping! She's great too. There is a beautiful outdoor area with chairs and cover......Great to sit with friends and family. It already feels like home. Thanks to Andre, John (Joao) and Chris for the smooth transition. The staff here are always 'on'. Spend the first few meals with your loved one and show them around the place.....They'll love it. Tha building is great and very well taken care of. I especially enjoy the garden, which is awesome, and the pond is lovely. The location is very convenient with lots of stores nearby, amd since I am still driving this helps a lot. The housekeeping is mostly acceptable and Cindi, my regular housekeeper, does a good job. There are enough activities to keep me engaged and I am happy with them. I also really appreciate that the hot water works very well, almost instantaneously. Oberall, i feel comfotable here and I value how well the community is maintained.

The building is lovely and always very well cleaned, and I also find the garden to be beautiful. The location is convenient, which makes day to day life easier. Housekeeping has its days, but for the most part is okay, and I want to mention that Felicity, my housekeeper, is doing more than okay. The activities are nice, although I enjoy them most when the people I like are there. Overall, it is a pleasant place to live.

I really like it here. I have no complaints at all. Housekeeping is great, and the food is varied and enjoyable. I just wish wine was serve more regularly. The garden and flowers are always imoressive, and I love how close we are to Lambrick Park and the Gordon Head Rec Centre. I love my apartment, it’s the right size for my furnishings, quiet, and it really feels like home. It’s a great place to display my artwork and enjoy gardening. The food is mostly positive, with a varied and diverse menu that brings flavors from many countries, almost like living in a League of Nations where everyone gets along. The location is peaceful with no noise, and the gardens and pathways are lovely. Sometimes I feel the housekeeping could be a little better, but overall I’m very happy here.

The building cleanliness is very good, the location is fantastic, and the activities are nice to have available. My mother has resided here for just over a month now. She and the rest of the family feel extremely fortunate to have arrived! A home-like environment, unbelievably quiet in the room and in the neighborhood and meals which she positively looks forward to receiving. Standout personnel have been Andre and Carol who adeptly and responsively guided us through the settling-in process, Felicity who cheers the mood as she cleans, and Gil always smiling and upbeat with the meal delivery. I'd move in now myself if I could....... but I'll have to wait 15 years.

I've been here a few weeks only, but it already feels like home. The building is comfortable and well-kept, with cozy carpeted floors and spotless common areas thanks to Felicity (my regular housekeeper), who does a excellent job. The ground are very well maintained, perfect for walking or sitting outside to enjoy nature. The food is great, the pet-friendly atmosphere adds joy eith dogs around, and the residents are always happy, polite and friendly.

This building is lovely and has a warm, old-fashioned charm. I love the garden, the walks, the flowering bushes, and how beautifully everything is kept. I've also made great friends here, and the staff and management team are always very friendly. The food is good, and I specially want to mention Cindi, my regular server at my table, who goes above and beyond, even watering my plants, and Andy, the handyman, who does a great job and is always available when needed.

Earlier this year I had a fall and ended up at Victoria General Jubilee Hospital. When I was finally released in the early hours of the morning, the doctors arranged a cab to take me back to The Victorian even though I didn’t have money with me. When I arrived, Andre and Joao welcomed me warmly, told me not to worry about the bill, and escorted me back to my apartment. That’s what I call real service and care.

I really like the building and absolutely love the gardens. The location is perfect, I go to Tim Hortons nearby all the time, and I also enjoy playing football at Lambrick Park. The food is mostly okay, and not having to cook is a big plus. The staff are always nice and helpful, and I get along well with everyone here.

This is a good place to be. The housekeeping is good, the gardens are well looked after, and the pathways make it easy to get outside for a walk. Santina, the porter, is always very friendly. The food is fine, the building is quiet, and the location is great with Thrifty’s, Starbucks, restaurants, and the Farmers Market at Lambrick Park nearby. I also enjoy the bus rides and going to the pubs with the other residents.

I have been a resident at the Victorian for 4 years. I am generally happy with the layout of my studio suite and find the space adequate and comfortable. The weekly housecleaning service is very good, although the staff is often pressed for time to do a thorough job. The Atria management and staff are friendly, caring and thoughtful, always willing to deal with concerns. and offer support. The chef, kitchen staff and dining room servers are pleasant, hard-working and well organized. I feel that the service is very good. I take part in some of the activities and especially enjoy walks around the beautiful grounds. I feel safe and comfortable. and am fortunate to have such a lovely place to call home.

"Coming home to a beautiful home!" - The Victorian "Independent senior living at its finest, when I moved into The Victorian." Appealing to me were the spaciously, well planned living quarters to meet residents' preferences, be it a Studio or a one or two-bedroom unit. I have found the diverse staff is stellar and second to none in their caring of and availability to the needs and interests of every individual living here. Services include health, fitness, art and culture, spirituality, as well as full-service dining, housekeeping, maintenance, driving to medical appointments and shopping, with the addition of drives to scenic outings. All amenities made for a seamless transition from my former home to now, my new home. My days are filled with activities, be it inside or out. I'm so grateful that The Victorian has such well groomed gardens that flourish with bountiful florals, trees, shrubs and hanging baskets along with a goldfish pond to be envied. The strolling walkways offer residents a calmness as part of our seniors' way of life. Here at The Victorian, we play, we sing, we connect with amazing people with fascinating, richly rewarded backgrounds. To live at The Victorian is to live a very good life!

My brother has been living here for the past 5 months and we have been so impressed by the level of care he’s received. He was very hesitant to leave his home but the staff have made the transition seamless for him and he’s very much enjoying living here. The staff has made him feel very safe and included. A big thank you to the amazing team at the Victorian! My father moved there a year ago and this past year has been one of his happiest years. The grounds are beautiful the rooms are clean and the people who work there go above and beyond. I always feel welcome there myself. My dad had so many good things to say about the Victorian. He raved about the food and how wonderful all the staff are and he made some good friends there. My father recently passed away and I am so grateful to Chris and his team who always treated my dad and me like family and accepted all my dads quirks and provided amazing care. Many thanks! The Victorian is a lovely place. I have personally known a few different people who have lived there in the past and more recently. The staff are friendly, kind and always willing to help or answer questions. I find everyone pitches in. The place is clean and the gardens and sitting areas outside are tended to nicely. There are a good amount of activities for those who care to join and the monthly event calendar allows for planning ahead. Plenty of free parking which is wonderful. I am overall very happy with the Victorian and am glad my loved one is there. Thank you to every one of the staff who make it the happy place that it is.

My mother is an extremely strong, proud, independent person. Due to some major life changes, she moved to The Victorian over 2 years ago. It took some time for her to accept and settle into this new arrangement. The staff have been patient and kind, offering support to my mother and us, her family. My mom is settled and happy there. Recently, my mom, sister, and I required some extra help with an issue. Jake, the manager, is an extremely competent, compassionate person, and a great advocate for my mom. I must also commend Nicole and Neva for their additional care and assistance. You're a lovely bunch - thanks for keeping your sense of humour!
