In my experience this place is wonderful and such a nice place. It is a little on the pricey side though like a lot that I can’t personally justify but if you have the money it’s a really great place to be at but other then that everything is excellent. Everyone tries to go above and beyond for the residents the best of their ability any how. They have amazing food and they generally try to have a lot of activities/events for the residents to do so no one gets too board or lonely. Everyone is so kind and encouraging about anything and everything. I would recommend it to people who are looking for a retirement home for sure!!!

My mother loves living at Southern Meadows. She repeatedly tells me she feels safe, has plenty of activities, and the staff (nurses, aides, cafeteria, maintenance, everyone) take great care of her. She has lived there almost 2 years and still tells me regularly how much she loves her home. I can’t thank Southern Meadows enough for the peace of mind they’ve given me as mother’s caregiver.

From the very first inquiry about availability to the actual move-in day and beyond, we have been shown kindness, compassion, and genuine care. They have been so patient and encouraging and it is such a reflection of the entire Southern Meadows community. The director, Amanda Stevens, has exceeded our expectations. She has been available any time we have questions and answers us promptly. Her dedication, professionalism, and personal attention to residents and families is evident and I think it truly sets Southern Meadows apart. She is clearly deeply committed to creating a warm, supportive, and safe environment for all the residents that call Southern Meadows home. If she can find a way to help you in any way, she does it immediately or finds the person that can help you and arranges it! Mealtimes are something residents look forward to and the dining experience is made to feel special and just adds to the welcoming atmosphere. They have a new Dietary Director and she actually introduced herself to our family and was so kind and lovely. Moreover, the meal we had was delicious! The outdoor spaces are so beautiful. The community courtyards have the most beautiful flowers and plants and are a bird watcher’s dream! Covered patio areas with nice plush outdoor furniture make going outside and connecting with nature such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. What truly makes Southern Meadows so special is that it feels like a family. There is a sense of community and belonging that is not always easy to find. We are so very thankful to have found such a wonderful place that our mom will, not only be safe and cared for, but also thrive! The joy and peace of mind that gives us is priceless.

I wroet a review already and i see it was took down. I would not put a loved one here. The staff is not good. My Mom was pinched and told to shut up by a red head nurse naned [name removed]. We had items missing so i installed a camera and sure enough we founf the person. Thats how we was rewarded. Mom was pinched and as soon as I did a review after moving Mom of course.Itwas took down.Had a friend check last week lady still works there heard she was fired for the same stuff at her last job. Sure it will be deleted but i hope it helps someone before that. I will keep checking and as long as she works there I will keep coming back to try and save somene the same problem.

My Aunt lives here. The nurses and aids are wonderful. However, a lot of people still complain about the food. Don’t know who makes the menus but they are things that really don’t go together. They have had meat they can’t chew and seem to get a lot of wraps( most here take them apart and eat what is inside). Too many sandwiches. Weekends seem to be the worst.

Just visited, but while I was there, I noticed a very clean, safe environment. The cooks did a remarkable job with a savory pot roast for dinner that was very, very tasty. All staff were very polite and were like a huge family there. David keeps all residents informed of all upcoming activities as he books them. I also witnessed his creative side for the residents activities. As sweet a she is Mrs Annie runs a tight ship when it comes to her employees...loved my visit. Thank you, David and Annette, for inviting me. You guys are awesome!!!

Southern Meadows has been nothing but wonderful to our family for the entire process of moving our loved one into a memory care facility. Each meeting with the Director Lisa was informative and caring to make sure the facility could accommodate the needs and wants of our family member. She even arranged FaceTime meetings to help the process along. From the moment we arrived to start the intake process Lisa and the entire staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. They served us family dinner as they introduced us to all the staff who would be helping with our Aunt’s daily needs. Everyone was so kind and empathetic to show their support to our family. All the nurses and staff are prompt in helping with daily medicines, and meals, and tending to our Aunt’s basic needs. The facility and grounds are beautiful and well kept, organized, and clean. The garden was a favorite place to visit and we can rest easier knowing there is a beautiful and loving new home for our Aunt to enjoy.

It was my first time to visit Southern Meadows Assisted Living. Oh my, was I impressed. Everyone was so friendly and the facility was very clean. My mother-in-law is at Southern Meadows and I am impressed by every aspect of the facility and the personnel. The care they give their residents is first rate. The food is outstanding and all of the staff go out of their way to help. The building and Grounds are well cared for. It is a relaxed comfortable place to be!

We wanted to start gathering information before it was necessary to move into an assisted care living facility. I was so impressed with the tour and the staff. They showed me how they track, on a computer, all of the tasks necessary for each patient’s daily care. For example, there are tracked tasks like emptying the trash, ensuring the resident had showered, vacuuming had been completed. The amazing life experiences of residents while at this facility are proudly on display throughout the hallways making this place a very uplifting place for the people that make this their home. The amazing Lady, Kit, that gave us the tour was so thorough and caring. Her genuine care was seen as she took all the time my loved one needed to answer all questions. She took notes and followed up with a call about a week later and not putting pressure on us to make a decision. Bottom line is that this is the place where you want your loved one to be. They will ensure that they are safe, healthy, and happy.

My family could not be more pleased with Elmcroft Assisted Living in Mountain Home, Ar. Outstanding care and cleanliness is what made the decision to let Elmcroft care for our aging relatives easier. Our initial contact was a young lady, Kit Mason, who let us tour the faculty, assessed our needs and provided a plan of care. Caring for aging loved ones is hard but I trust Elmcroft in Mountain Home with their care.

My dad had a major stroke in March. He has always lived very independently up until then, but when I realized that he could no longer live at home alone, I contacted several assisted living facilities. Elmcroft was the only one who went out of their way to answer my questions etc. When my dad moved in, they went out of their way to make his adjustment as seamless as possible. I live out of state, and not only has the staff kept me updated on how he is doing, but the director himself has called me several times to give me a report. I know I chose the right facility for my dad, because all the staff is genuinely loving and caring towards my dad and our family. I definitely have peace of mind knowing he is in their care.

My mom has been a resident at Elmcroft for 16 months and calls it HOME. There has been numerous times when the caregivers went out of their way to make my mom feel comfortable; even in the middle of the night. We could not possibly count the number of times that everyone from the caregivers, nurses and even the director were available for our mom and our family. We could not have chosen a better assisted living for Mom than Elmcroft.
