I moved my loved one into assisted living and the staff worked hard to help me with all the paperwork. When I ran into a problem they had it worked out and solved in 30 minutes. Her apartment is cozy and bright, and the dining is outstanding. I feel that I can finally breathe easy about her care. I highly recommend this facility. Edited, May 2026 Now that my LO is settled into assisted living, I'd like to add to my positive review. The nurse on staff, Victoria, is simply amazing, as is the entire care team at Vitality. Working closely with Dr. Roudachevski and his nurse, Jamie, the Vitality care team has turned things around for her. The team is always available for my many questions; each time a schedule change is needed for medications; and to simply help me understand the process of my LO's condition. If you are facing the tough decision of placing a loved one in an assisted living facility, I encourage you to tour Vitality and meet with their management and care teams. They will honestly tell you if their facility is a good fit for what you need, and help you every step of the way on this journey. They are, quite literally, life savers!

Vitality did an awesome job honoring and celebrating their veteran's on Wednesday not to interfere with the national hoilday. It was truly heart warm and tears were shed at the gesture that out Veterans have not been forgotten! The decorations were fitting with the residents being recognized with certificates. A poem was read "l Am a Veterans, made us cry with honor. Thanks to Deborah McLane especially for helping pull this together Day to honored them officially in our presence. God bless America. My parents moved in over a week ago and i can't say enough about this place. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The food is very good. They have done everything to make my parents feel at home. The staff is great but a special shoutout to Tawanna. She has gone above the call of duty to make our experience great. She is an angel.

Traditions of Smyrna offers a wide range of opportunities for growth by means of physical and occupational therapy as well as a variety of activities and entertainment that makes life more productive and enjoyable! All this is available under one roof no matter what the weather may be. Good food, comfortable living conditions, and fellowship with new friends! The residents and staff are what make this such a wonderful community. In the nine months since I’ve been a part of the Vitality community, I have made many new friendships here. I’ve seen every team”from admin, reception, maintenance, and custodial to kitchen, activities, wellness coordinators, therapists, and caregivers”go above and beyond for the residents. I especially want to mention Deborah and Tawanna. They’re always welcoming, take the time to get to know the residents and their families, and put great effort into special events like Wine Around the World, Veterans Day, the Thanksgiving Gratitude Luncheon, and holiday decorating that brightens everyone’s spirits.

My Loved Ones & I are so grateful for the dedicated staff at Traditions of Smyrna . Each staff member continues to provide excellent care and consideration to Joann every day in every way. From housekeeping to the nursing staff, all of the personnel make it a point to learn about each resident’s needs and their likes & dislikes. We love Lyn so much as she listens! I have been so impressed with Vitality Senior Living, the programs, the apartments but most of all, the friendliness of the staff. Deborah McLane is so upbeat and always is presenting wonderful programs for the residents and the community. Most recently, the Veteran's Day luncheon, honoring the resident veterans, was very special.

I have recently placed clients at this facility that I visit every week. I am so impressed with the care provided to the clients, the friendliness of the staff, the Administrator who is DYNAMIC, the food staff and THE FOOD, and the facility is EXTREMELY clean. The environment is warm and inviting each time I have entered the building. When my client was asked about his experience of living at Vitality by the his Doctor, he responded, "I love it, and they treat me like a KING! That in itself was confirmation to what I have seen during each one of my visits there. Thank you Vitality staff!

We toured recently for a family member, The staff was patient and kind, very understanding, willing to commodore for future references, and had so many friendly and happy faces staying there! We were able to even eat lunch and the food was really good for the day! Catfish, a Grilled Cheese, some fries, Peas and Carrots, and a nice peach sort of dessert. Very clean and the tour was very informative!

Where do I begin. Omg Tawanna went above and beyond for my mom who is a potential resident at Vitality. She came to see my Mom for her initial visit and our power was out from the bad weather. She brought her food and battery powered lights and visited with her most of the afternoon. She is the kindest, most caring person you could ever meet. We went this past week for a tour and loved the facility. They had a popcorn wagon, drinks, and snacks set out for the resident and guests all the time. We rode in the golf cart to the building where my mom is potentially going to live, and looked at a model room that was absolutely adorable. Tawanna was so knowledgeable, kind, and patient and answered all of our questions. She knows all the residents and their pets names everything. Visiting with her will make you want to live here. I know my mom will be happy and safe here, which is huge. You just can’t put a price on knowing your loved ones are in good hands and having peace of mind. We love you Tawanna

I am going to be downsizing soon. This morning I took a tour of Vitality Living - Pleasant Hills. Twanna Love was the Sales Counselor who showed me the cottages. I love the cottages there and Twanna did an excellent job of determining my needs and trying to find the perfect fit for me. Very impressed.

Every time I visit I am pleased with the staff. Alexis, the Executive Director has been there a couple years and takes exceptional care of the residents and the families. Pre and post tornado, everyone goes above and beyond. When you visit you can see first hand the dedication to their residents.

You told me, "You don't have to worry this is not the Taj Mahal." I say to you now, "the Senior Residents are worth more than the Taj Mahal." You hired me, for I was a seasoned in security and you claimed that you "felt in your spirit" that my seasoned security experience was what Vitality Living - Pleasant Hills needed. Words are worthless if not followed up with action, right?. Your manipulating behavior, spoke otherwise and my security counsel was ignore. Why? You told me, give it till April, 2024 and then your security counsel will be considered. Perpetrators are opportunist and they will not wait 'till April, 2024 by your calculations. Your arrogance and false humility in regards to Little Rock being "Among the Most Dangerous US Metro Areas" per https://247wallst.com/city/little-rock-ar-is-among-the-most-dangerous-us-metro-areas/ Your Business Office director was made a aware of this in my interview, but you ignored my Security Counsel. Home to my Mother for almost 15 years. She is very happy and this is mostly because of the various activities offered and the multiple friends she has made over the years. She has a more active social calendar than most teens I know! She plays Bridge & Mahjong, regularly. Gets her hair done in-house every week, takes the bus to Kroger & Wal-Mart weekly if needed, and participates in the Council with the facility staff. I would have given 5 stars, but it annoys the heck out of me that the rent goes up every year even though most of the residents are on a fixed income with little or no increase. I wish Brookdale Corp. would put the extensive redecoration aside and put the saving towards the resident's rent. I understand that it's just business and other places do this, as well, but it seems like a niche market would make some adjustments to help. Get creative!!

My husband and I moved here 7 years ago, we lived in a cottage and found that all the personnel are very friendly and helpful any time we needed assistance it was provided to us. Most of the staff are the same ones that were here when we moved and they feel like my extended family. My husband died in June 2014 and the staff was very supportive. I have remained here as this is my home now. We have a very good chef and cooks that provide us good meals at breakfast and lunch at noon as well as dinner if we desire it. The dinning room staff is friendly, helpful and knows all our names. Our cottages or apartments are cleaned weekly. My children are very happy that I am here and they visit often. Dolores C

I teach customer service classes in my work, and one of the things that most people do not do is to use a person's name in greetings and conversations. When I moved my Mom to Pleasant Hills last September one of the first things that impressed me was that EVERYONE on the staff learns the names of their residents right away, and calls them by name when they see them. I think this is really a special and personal touch that you don't get very often! It goes a long way to make "newcomers" feel welcome and at home. Kudos!

We recently selected Brookdale Pleasant Hills Senior Living Community for my mother. The staff has been extremely helpful throughout the process of evaluating all aspects of the facility and moving in. The facility is clean, the meals are very good, transportation is provided and all staff members are very friendly and helpful. The management staff is focused on understanding the care needs of all residents.
