It has been a couple of months since my sister and I started the "actual on-site tours" of Assisted Living and Memory Care options in the Northwest Arkansas area for our sister...and our brother-in-law...both unfortunately diagnosed with Alzheimer's. The "remote" search and inquiries started nearly a year ago. My sister and I both live 8 and 10 hours away from Fayetteville which made the search more of a challenge but after extreme due diligence and visiting about 8 different options, our decision was easy. We chose Village On The Park Bentonville driven by the impeccable, kind follow-up from Johnee Freeland, Director of Sales/Mktg from the very beginning, then the warm welcome(s) we received with every visit we made to the Village (about 5) before committing. Every staff member we have met, before and after committing, has been so kind, patient, caring and passionate about creating a personalized, loving pathway of care for our sister (Assisted Living) and our brother-in-law (Memory Care). Kitchen staff (Brendan and others), Activities Director for residents (Rickie), Administration (Kacy), Director of Nursing (Amber), Memory Care Lead Nurse (Tasha), CNAs (Ethan and Brenda & others)...everyone...awesome. So it was the thoroughness and responsiveness early on from Johnee that had us focused on Village On The Park, but the culture of caring, the culture of teamwork and the physical structure and cleanliness in the building has us so thankful that we were able to find a home for our sister in Assisted Living and a home in Memory Care for our brother-in-law. What a wonderful place. My parents live in one of their lovely cottages. Everything is so beautifully maintained. They love it there. Carol Montelione -the activity director, keeps everyone busy with outing’s, parties & cultural experiences. They felt welcomed from the day they moved in. What a team!! Our family's needs were quite challenging given both spouses had ALZ and were at different levels of care. When we toured, we were so impressed by the brightness, cleanliness, and spaciousness of the facility. But then we met the team - and wow! As beautiful as the building is, it's the hearts and hands of the people inside who truly make it extraordinary. They are always ready to do whatever it takes to help our loved ones thrive! We looked at several other assisted living facilities near by and in Fayetteville and the Village on the Park in Bentonville was hands down the only place we would want our loved ones to be in! I would absolutely recommend the Village On the Park Bentonville!!.

My mother moved to Village on the Park in June 2023. She had vascular dementia, so she lived in the memory care unit. We as a family were fortunate, she knew she was challenged and would say, "my memory is bad, that's why I live here and have wonderful people helping me." She loved living at Village on the Park. The staff made her a hamburger...every single day. She participated in activities. She loved to walk and would walk the hallways as well as the beautiful courtyard. I have already written privately to leadership at this facility to name individuals, but suffice to say, we could NOT have been more pleased with the care provided by the CNAs, nurses, food service director, activity director, etc. My mom passed away a week ago, the staff at Village on the Park worked so well with hospice, and my mom was able to stay in her small apartment, surrounded by the caretakers who loved her. If you are considering a facility for your loved one, I cannot recommend Village on the Park highly enough.

While Visiting my friend that is on the memory care at village on the park bentonville.The Cna and the activity director could answer any questions I had at that time.They was so helpful and knew how to calm my friend from being scared of everything at the moment she didnt want to be alone at any time during the visit.The director of memory care very polite with us since we had not seen our friend in this condition.She explained everything to us and showed compassion to every other resident in the area.

Village on the Park Bentonville was absolutely wonderful the entire time my father-in-law called this home ” until he received his angel wings! The management staff made it a priority to make certain the residents were happy and adjusted. They took time to get to know who lived there as well. The nursing staff was fabulous and very attentive to their patients and showed them love. The dining staff was fun and meals were very good! Our family member was not a man to sit idle, and they had great activities and outings all the time. If you got bored, it’s because you wanted to. Thank you VOP for loving our entire family while our Pops lived with you!!

This is a beautiful facility with very nice amenities. My mother was in the Memory Care unit for almost three years. The staff is either very committed or could care less, it's about 50/50. The management over the facility did not communicate rules/procedures to the staff in a consistent manner. I could ask the management, nurse and aide the same question and get three totally different answers. The Director of Wellness was often rude, condescending and evasive. I asked for a list of rules and regulations many, many times from the facility Director and the Director of Wellness and never received them. And they would often come up with new rules out of thin air. When I asked when they started the "new" rule I was always told it was always there they had just started enforcing it. That list of rules and regulations I kept asking for would have come in handy! On three different occasions my mother had mold in her room: first in the bedroom closet, second around then bedroom window and lastly in the bathroom closet. Each time it took over a month for them to resolve the mold issue. I could go on but I think you get the jist of the situation.

My experience with Village on the Park was amazing. While looking for assisted living facilities for my mother we came across Village on the Park, and I couldn't be more impressed. Leigh Ann was so kind, patient, warm, friendly and had a wealth of knowledge. She was also very quick to help us with touring the facility and so sweet and compassionate while showing us what Village on the Park has to offer. As for the facility by the end of the tour I wanted to move in. The staff was friendly, it was clean and felt more like a luxury hotel and not a clinical assisted living facility. The apartments were beautiful!!! Tons of space with big windows to let in natural light, and the closets!!! HUGE!! Village on the Park will give you the peace of mind you are looking for if you are thinking of having your loved one enter into a more concentrated senior care. Amazing place!

My dad moved into Village on the Park Bentonville in April 2021. It is the 3rd assisted living facility he's lived in. He consistently tells me it is his favorite, by far. As his daughter, I can't recommend VoP Bentonville enough!! All of the staff that I've encountered in his 2.5 years have been phenomenal! They all truly care about their residents. They try really hard to have fun activities - happy hour, games, outings, cook outs, parties. Dad says the food is good too, which is big thing in my opinion.

My mother entered the Village in Jan 2020 right before all this COVID mess started. They have kept her safe and well cared for with no positive cases in the whole facility! She loves the staff and enjoys the varied menus. She has made friends and is doing better there than when she was back at home doing nothing. Great job!

Village on the Park Bentonville was the absolute Best Place for my mom. We visited every assisted living place in Rogers and Bentonville and Village on the Park was heads above every place else. We first visited places unannounced to get the Real Picture. Both Roger's and Bentonvile Village on the Park, were clean, had professional and caring people, excellent nutritious meals, and a nice assortment of programs and social activities . They even make sure my mom and dad get to their doctors appointments in their wheelchair accessible bus. Village on the Park Bentonville has an outstanding staff that truly care about their residents. After caring for my parents for 18 months, it gives my heart such peace to see them getting their emotional, physical, spiritual and social needs met by the amazing team at Village On the Park who work in unison from the top down to create a wonderful place to live.
