I've been living here for 7.5 years, and being a Vietnam veteran, I find the tranquility very relaxing. The community is very active and with a myriad of activities. There are potlucks (just like at a church social) twice a month, card games, cookouts during the summer months, bingo, bible studies. Exercise classes for seniors are weekly, morning and afternoon. Some things are weekly, other activities are once a month. It has a very quiet atmosphere during the day and nighttime. If you want a quiet place to live and enjoy meeting your neighbors, then this is the place to be!

A great place to live, but some things in this ad are wrong. There are NO meals and NO assistance. Plenty of activities, but you are on your own. Very friendly and after 5 yrs. we are staying.

The Lodge is a wonderful place to live. Its a neighborhood of friends who enjoy many activities together or privately, as their needs and desires dictate. It is very clean and secure and feels like home.

My family held our annual Alumni Weekend Festival at the VBC and potluck after church Services and evening lunch at The Lodge. It was very nice ! The cleansinest facility than some of our local restaurants. I definitely recommend this place to reside as your golden years develop and security is always at its best. Gwen, my Auntie, as usual your work appears effortless, however, we all know when we see your name on it, a reflection of Gods grace abundantly surrounds the event and quality is what you ask of us and quality is what you serve. Again, Mother Gwen, we thank and love you so very much. I know next years will be topped with another drop of Gods goodness and his everlasting love ! Thanks , Diane Derek L.

I met Amber at this property, and she was awesome to work with. She gave me a tour of the property and it is gorgeous inside and out. They offer fantastic amenities for independent living. I was new to the independent living concept, but being able to live in a secure facility with like minded people and be apart of a community environment sounds perfect for people who want to simplify their living.
