Each staff member has been pleasant and eager to help no matter what the problem. Members of the senior community have been very gracious and helpful from telling me where to locate carts to bring in groceries to showing me where emergency call buttons are in my apartment.

It is our privilege to offer a recommendation for Galleria Woods Senior Living. Leading up to our selection, we spent a year reviewing the options available to us to find a continuing care retirement community offering the multiple levels of care we anticipated we would need. We began our search in and around Nashville, TN where we resided and evaluated several facilities in that region. We found varying choices but none that were as complete and mostly with long waiting lists or new ones with promised move-in dates three and four years out. With a wider internet search, we found Galleria Woods and initiated a personal visit. From the first moment we entered the property we had a feeling of "welcome home." Every resident and member of staff we met in that first visit, following visits, all the way up to the point of now being a resident ourselves, was smiling and welcoming. We knew at that point, without a doubt, we had found our new home. You will find the professionalism of the staff, level of service here and the superior quality of the facilities will make you a "raving fan."

The residents of Galleria Woods are friendly and very helpful. Administration has been wonderful in helping make our move very pleasant. Maintenance is also definitely outstanding. It is nice to have someone available when we have situations that occur and need assistance. Galleria Woods is a beautiful place. We feel blessed to be here. Just want to share some good information for folks looking at moving to Galleria Woods Retirement Community. I like to call it Galleria Woods Resort as it has been a wonderful place for wife and I. The facilities, food, activities, people are all top notch and wonderful. Wife and I are so pleased we moved while we are in relatively good health. Don't wait too late. I call Galleria Woods a resort because it reminds me of a luxury cruise ship on land. If you are looking, make sure you check out Galleria Woods before you decide. I've lived here for about 3 months and can honestly say Galleria Woods has exceeded my expectations! Everyone, staff and residents, are sincerely friendly and very respectful. They make a point of calling you by name which means a lot -- you never feel like just one of many. I checked out many places in the Birmingham area and beyond and believe my decision to move here was the right one. Looking back I can honestly say the marketing people didn't exaggerate any of the features of Galleria Woods. If I were having to make this decision again, I'd move here! No place is perfect but Galleria Woods comes as close as you can get!

We've been here ten months, and have not looked back. We contemplated it for several years and made the decision based on it proving in monetarily and satisfactory. It has more than met expectations in both categories. Whereas, in our home, we had a few friends, but now we have a huge family.

It is such a blessing to find my "happy place" at the age of 75! I have a beautiful apartment that I have named "my loft." Located on the third floor there are trees out every window. Friendly staff, good friends, fun activities, safe environment, beautiful grounds, and delicious food. Definitely my "happy place!"

Ash Wednesday was on Valentine's Day. The young lady at the front desk is always so cheerful. I met Ms Suddeth who had heart tiaras in her hair. I wa there to give ashes in the Chapel. We did and we had 15 people show up and then we gave ashes to 3 others not able to attend. The entire staff seems so happy and kind. The music in the lobby was good. And it is always nice to see Jack there. In my opinion, the young lady at the front desk and Ms Suddeth are exceptional.

I went to visit a friend. I stayed for four days. I got there Thursday morning. Everything was fine. Friday the air conditioner went out. Programs were cancelled. Sunday they got the air conditioner working again. It was in the nineties for those two days. My friend really suffered. She is much older than me. The dining room was very nice. The staff was excellent. The food was processed food. Instant potatoes and Other process foods. But some people can handle food like that.. I can't. I still had a lovely visit with my friend.

My husband and I have been residents at Galleria Woods for 4 years and call it home. We are in Independent Living but have utilized Skilled Nursing twice after hip replacements. What a smooth transition! We have wonderful meals served in a beautiful dining room and numerous activities to choose from. My husband says this is the best decision we have ever made.

Great and serene environment. The staff are cordial and helpful both to residents and visitors. I have enjoyed visiting my family member there on the "Buffet meals" aka Thanksgiving and 4th of July in the dining room. Bistro on 1st floor offers the in/out quick options which I have done once or twice.
