I have lived in the cottages at the Terrace at Grove Park about 4 1/2 years and will be moving to be closer to family. Sheila, Vicky and the entire staff are attentive and provide excellent service! Living here has removed lots of stress from owning a home. It is a great place to live.

Just moved my 91 yr. old father into asst. living here. We have both been very impressed with everything so far. All of the staff is excellent, friendly and helpful, and the kitchen and dining room staff are truly wonderful. The meals are varied and very delicious. He loves taking walks on the sidewalk in the shaded park-like setting around the building, and there are lots of activities going on during the day, like Bible study and Bingo, morning exercise programs and coffee/hot chocolate at 10 every morning. My dad lived alone for 10 yrs until a fall, and was not totally on board with the move, but he's enjoying the new routine and has already made friends with two other men on his hall. I feel confident that he's safe and in good hands at The Terrace at Grove Park. Highly recommend!

The caretakers at The Terrace are so much more than that. They are like family members to their clients. They have always gone above and beyond to make sure our loved one is happy, healthy and comfortable. We are so very pleased with every aspect of this facility. We are ever indebted to them, especially through these last couple of trying years with Covid. We refer to them as our angels and are so very grateful for all of them.

My parents recently moved into a cottage here. Vicky Turner was wonderful to work with and really helped us in every step of the move in process. We live in Texas and feel so good about our parents living here. All the people we have had contact with are very friendly. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained. Desiring exceptional care for her parents during a challenge season in their life, my wife researched facilities in the Dothan area and they selected a Cottage at The Terrace at Grove Park. Their decision was made easier because of the reputation of The Terrace and the fact they've had friends live there in the past, with great satisfaction of the love and care they've received. My wife's contact was Vicky, who was fantastic in every way. She explained all the living options, provided tours, and patiently navigated my wife thorough application process. In addition to Vicky, everyone on staff has been courteous and quick to help when called upon. Only a week into the home away from home stay, it is reassuring to know our parent's decision to Iive at the Terrace at Grove Park has been a great one!

I moved my mother in the Terrace just over a year ago. She is very happy in the Independent Living Apartments, she loves the location. I can't say enough good things about the staff, Vicki, Brandon, also the ladies that deliver her lunch and dinner, cleaning crew, they always are so helpful if she needs anything.

The Terrace could not have done more for our family. My parents were displaced after Hurricane Michael. They were willing to set them up immediately with a furnished cottage. They were always so attentive to any need that arose, from maintenance to delivering packages. It is also a very clean facility. The food was also very, very good. Like a 5-star restaurant would be. And the grounds were kept so beautiful. The common area in the middle of the cottages is a great meeting place for friends and to be able to walk around it on safe sidewalks. I would love to be placed in a facility like the Terrace when I age. If you are searching for a home or room in assisted living, quit looking and get over there!

The Terrace has been such a blessing to my uncle and all of our family as we were searching for a place for him that would feel like home. Vicky and all of the staff at The Terrace made the process of applying and moving so easy. Since he has moved in, he has really enjoyed the facility, the food and the amazing care. Everyone truly goes above and beyond in providing quality care and safety for the residents!

I have had a great experience at this facility. Everyone is nice and I am always greeted by everyone. The facility is always a clean and pleasant environment. I feel at home when I am there.. I highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a nice and peaceful place to live.

My mom was admiited just 2 weeks ago to the assisted living section. She has acclimated very well and is very happy with The Terrace. She can no longer drive and thus her social interactions at home were curtailed. The Terrace at Grovepark has been a godsend. She has developed a new circle of friends and is very busy during the day with the many activities offered at The Terrace. We are so fortunate to have this facility.

From the start, the good people at The Terraces at Grove Park did everything to make my mothers short stay at their facility as comfortable as possible. Mom enjoyed the food, the care and the cleanliness of being in a top-rated assisted living.

We have recently moved my mom into one of the cottages in the Terrace at Grove Park. Her unit is very well laid out, very spacious, and comfortable. The staff has been friendly, accommodating, and quick to respond to any of my moms needs. The food is tasty and the dining staff have been just wonderful. My favorite included perk so far has been the emptying of her garage garbage can twice a week. They think of everything!

My Mother-in-law just loved living at The Terrace! (she had to move from her home in north Alabama) It was not like a nursing care facility. It was a wonderful community of seniors. She was allowed her independence and that was something that she would not have had if she had stayed in her own home. The dining room (tablecloths on table) and food was great as was chef and staff. My husband and I were welcome to eat with them ANY time. The administrative staff (Sheila and Vicki) so sincerely wanted her stay there to be good. Jerri and Lynn (nurses) were so wonderful in helping us as she declined. They were willing to take her back to the Terrace with Hospice if that was what we wanted. Not many places do that! Her little helpers(bath, cleaning, laundry) were also SO sweet always! Thank you Grove Park Terrace for the care you gave to Ann. We love you all. I certainly cannot forget Keeri (as Ann pronounced it) who greeted you with a wonderful smile every time you came in the door!

Everyone has been so helpful in my dads transition to the Terrace. He was reluctant at first but the staff and residents made him feel welcome and valuable. The independent living duplex housing is so private and home-like. We could not be happier with the Terrace!

We moved my parents into the cottages about 1 year ago. The staff at The Terrace were great helping us to get credentialed and moved in within a short timeframe. Vickie and Sheila both spent time talking to us and hearing our needs and concerns. Even though this time in my parents lives can be emotional and challenging, the staff made the transition into the community very easy and acceptable. Everyone you come in contact with is helpful and friendly; from the waite staff, the maintenance man, the person answering the phones, and administrative people. I highly recommend The Terrace.

My mother is a dementia patient who has lived at The Terrace for nearly three years. During this time, I see my mothers condition slowly declining, but the level of care has never wavered ! The administration, nurses, and staff members are first rate in their attention to my mothers needs.The facility is beautiful,! There are fun activities planned each day that stimulate her cognitive, physical, and social needs. My mother is very happy at The Terrace and I highly recommend it!
