I have a lot of respect for Westminster! They care so much about their patient's and when we get pt who reside there that come to Falkville for rehab you can just tell how loved they are and how much they mean to their facility. We always hate to let the patients go but knowing they are going to Westminster ease's my mind because I know they get taken care of greatly! I recommend this assisted living to anyone who is looking for a place for your loved one because they strive for excellence, and they will definitely make sure your family becomes a part of theirs.

MY Mom has resided at this facility for the last 6 months and I am very pleased with the care. The staff is well trained, very kind and has been a blessing to my mom and our family. I have also gotten to know several of the other residents as well. The size of the facility and occupancy level make for a nice home style setting.

I am the current Director of Resident Care and proud to say so! We have a beautiful & clean facility, that feels like home. It is filled with amazing caregivers who treat each and every resident as if they were their own family. My Dad is also a resident here. He loves it and what a blessing to be able to work where he lives and know the staff taking care of him! My co-workers are becoming family as well. No place is perfect, we would be kidding ourselves if we thought it was. We know that we will make mistakes, no matter how hard we try not to. If anyone has an issue, we only ask that they bring it to us, so that we can properly address it. One thing I know for sure, you will never meet staff that love your family as well as we do.

I took a tour with my brother in law. At westminster for my sister. I was very impressed with the staffing. The atmosphere of this assisted living facility. I felt like It was at a place like home Very clean ,love the way that the staffing was interacting with the patients and my sister Like a home away from home her room is set up like it was at her house I love the way she is treated with love and compassion and respect Thanks for your service and friendship Tracy Brooks

My mother was a resident here for several years and was always treated with respect and nothing but kindness. The staff became family to both of us and I never worried a single day she was in their care. I have highly recommended Westminster to many friends!

Out of the other assisted living facilities in Decatur this one is more than I expected it to be. Very clean, everyone from administrative to the grounds keeper was exceptional. My mother was very well taken care of but the best part was they loved her and showed it. Everyone was very good and professional at their job. If I had to do it again Westminster would be my choice. Friendly, loving, caring and good at what they do.

I have worked as the nursing director at Westminster for over a year! From the moment I walked in I felt at home. Covid was a trying time to start a new job, and was trying for our staff, residents and their families. Im proud to say I work day in and day out with caregivers and nurses who truly care about our residents and have endured this together as a family. Our facility is gorgeous and our staff works hard to keep it that way! We enjoy spending time with our residents and they love us too. I call them family. Not only do I love working here, its a place I would feel comfortable (and have actually tried to convince my own grandmother) having my own family there. Not only is the staff caring, but our management team is hands on with the residents and prides ourselves on always knowing whats going on within our community! Im proud to call Westminster my home away from home. Youll never work a day in your life if you love what you do.

I visited Westminster today and had a tour of their facility. I am so impressed with the beauty of it and the care that they provide for their guests. It is a very new facility and it is very obvious that they take great pride in it. Thank you so much Cynthia, for the wonderful tour and explanations. I really enjoyed it.

The facility is clean and professionally run from the Director down to the cleaning personnel. There is constant kind and loving interaction between all of the staff and all of the residents. There are plenty of activities to keep the residents busy and entertained. The administrative staff does more that just run the place like a well oiled machine, they know all of the residents by name and speak to them every day. Kudos to Cynthia Hill and Kim Hood.
