I am a resident of CCV since July 2023. Great Location. Walking distance to many restaurants, churches, antique stores. Safe, downtown location with park nearby and tourist attractions. Amenities are first class and staff is friendly, and efficient. Food is good. Resident's needs and concerns are addressed promptly. I liked CCV when I first toured it after the untimely death of my wife. I was sold when I learned that I could live here, write one check per month at a savings of more than $750 per month versus the cost of living alone and lonely in our residence in SW Decatur.. I write one check monthly and everything is covered: electricity, sewer, water, food, housekeeping, laundry, phone, multichannel cable TV, fiber optic internet service, local transportation to shopping and medical appointments as well as a variety of group entertainment options, There is an excellent haircare salon in-house. There's also a pool and exercise room. Rates are affordable, particularly when compared to the few similar but less nice choices I considered before finding CCV. Had I known what the deal was here, my late wife and I would have moved here 4 years ago. This is independent living, not a nursing home. RT

I like following this assisted living home. Seems like there is always fun activities going on and residents are extremely involved in all of the activities and staff getting dressed up for the holidays are a bonus. Like for Halloween!
