I have had a great day today with the staff at Monarch Estates in Auburn Alabama. What I thought would be a difficult day for securing a place for my adult brothers to live together and not be separated was an easy process because of the staff there. They were very professional, personal, knowledgeable, and enjoyable for my brothers and me and my husband. They answered all our questions and made us feel welcome. All of the staff we encountered were very nice and spoke to all of us. Just a great place! Can't wait to see my brothers happy there.

We were invited to come in for a tour of the facility, today. My friend's cousin is looking for a place to live near her and I thought Holiday Monarch Estates would be a good for her because it's near family, a safe place, and from me being there before visiting two other residents, a place they like. Brian McCann, the Divisional Sales Specialist, met us at the door and gave us a full two-hour tour of the place - 5 different one-bedroom apartments and all the common rooms. The place has recently been totally renovated and is BEAUTIFUL! Brian is a great sales associate, he answered all of my friend's questions, he was very patient with all of us, and you can tell he believes in the goodness and quality of this facility. I don't know what my friend's cousin will do, but I know she very much appreciated the personal service and tour she received. If I was in the market for such a place, I know I would need to look no further. Thank you.

The quality has gone down since my parent first moved in here. Food is hit and miss, the garbage cans are left to sit and stink over the weekend, and transportation is poor. The administrator is a nice person but needs more help. The facility is being remodeled and should be very nice when done. Some of the support staff is kind, others are horrible.

Monarch Estates in Auburn is a very well run facility. The local management, Amanda and Amy are a well organized team visible to residents and guests all the time. They are actively watching, listening and intervening AS NEEDED to help when asked or needed. The residents universally like the facility and the management. It is a warm welcoming home. Safe, helpful, attentive but not swarming.

Food is getting better, but it is very disappointing at times. As an example, dinner tonight will be a grilled pimento cheese sandwich with potato chips. The chips were torilla chips, not potato chips as advertised on the menu. These chips were too hard for many of us residents to bite. The fruit cup listed for dessert was only watermelon. The melon.was under ripe as revealled by its white color. Several residents refused to eat it. The lack of dark green vegetables continues to be a disappointment. Dark green vegetables are often cited as helping to ward off dementia and other cognitive difficulties. Many residents need more dark greens for this reason. Some of the entrees have improved, but not at all meals. Weekend meals are particularly short on their nutritional value.

Wonderful retirement community. The atmosphere, staff, food and all are outstanding. As soon as you walk in the door, you are greeted by a Monarch employee with a beautiful smile. Monarch provides the support and services to keep our parent independent, safe and entertained. My husband and I visit often and find the Monarch staff extremely helpful, kind, professional, caring and so much more. Thank you for all that you do, Monarch!

Although short, my mothers stay at Monarch was a blessing. The staff went above and beyond to take care of her needs and sometimes that was a lot of extra work! She quickly made friends with other residents and staff, especially Abby, who I cant thank enough. Thank you all for taking care of my mother.

My initial visit was so impressive, I went back today and rented a place. Well kept, friendly staff, extra welcoming residents....made me feel right at home and welcomed.Highly recommend.

Great place to live and work. Very clean and organized. My client has lived here for 6 months and shes adjusting well. The grounds are nicely kept and the staff is friendly. I would rate it five stars but some of the seniors that live in this facility need 24 hour assistance which Monarch does not provide.
