My father was placed in Jewel Lake Assisted Living Home after battling dementia for many years. It was such a stressful time to try and find a place where we felt he’d be well taken care of. He has been there over 2 years and we cannot say enough nice things. Grace, the owner, genuinely cares for the residents. Watching her treat the residents with such care, patience, and dignity is truly heart warming. She once referred to their time there as “helping them finish their journey.” Dementia is a terrible disease, but having him there has helped bring comfort and peace to our family, knowing he is comfortable and safe. We’d highly recommend!

I am consistently amazed by the level of care given to the residents living with Grace and her staff. Memory care homes are hard to keep calm and run smoothly, but they somehow do it consistently and make it look effortless. You usually have to settle for overmedicated or behavioral disturbances. When I go in you see a home where the residents are clean, happy and cared for. Instead of medication sedation the staff redirects behaviors into an activity the person would enjoy. Jewel Lake Assisted is an amazing facility, no an amazing home, for your loved one

As a licensed professional guardian who has seen many assisted living homes in the area, this one outshines all others. The staff is professional, conscientious and all residents are treated as beloved family. The nurse/owner Grace is exceptional with intuitive nursing skills, compassion and is on-site to provide medical care as needed. Outstanding!

Jewel Lake Assisted Living Home is a superb place for a loved one. My family member was a resident in the home for over two years. He received excellent care that included personal hygiene, administration of medication and tasty meals that he enjoyed. Grace and Arthur allow native food to be brought in by family so that it was available when my loved one asked for it. Transportation provided to and from medical facilities is provided. Family and friends can visit at decent hours every day of the week. Activities are provided daily and most residents engage in each one. The home is very clean. For every month where is a special holiday, the home is decorated with a theme. Residents are allowed to sit on the terrace and taken to the lake near the home for fresh air and enjoyment. I have visited many homes of this type and give Jewel Lake Assisted Living Home the greatest review in the world. Family will not have any regrets placing their loved one in the hands of all this outstanding care facility.

I feel my mom is getting the best care possible there! She’s is engaged more than she ever was at home because these people know how to do it. She goes outside now she’s coloring and talking to other people. The staff there is amazing always more than willing to work with the family talk with them they send videos of my mom talking to us and we send videos back even though we visit as well as pictures to help her stay engaged with who loved ones in her life. It is a Hard decision to put somebody that you love so much in a home but once you do and you realize how wonderful these people are and how much your mom is getting out of it it really is a sense of peace; because you know she’s getting the best care possible! I can’t say one thing negative about Jewel Lake Assested living!

The people and caregivers at this facility are wonderful. They took excellent care of my father when we could no longer physically care for him. The staff treated him with dignity and love. He was always cleaned and groomed we we visited with him... which was nearly daily. Dad had late stages of dementia. He still enjoyed the activities they did with him like singing and eating ice cream on the back deck. We were always informed on every aspect of his care which was welcomed. We chose this facility for dad as it was close by. When we visited it, we saw how friendly the staff was, which made us feel welcome. The residents there were happy. It was a home environment where residents interacted with each other. They also had the proper equipment to care for the residents. It was also under the direction of a nurse unlike a lot of places we had checked out. They also did end of life care. It was a great fit for dad and the family. I highly recommend them.

My mother has been a resident here and we have found the staff very conscientious and the environment very warm and friendly. They are an end of care facility - which means residents will not be asked to leave as their condition progresses. THey have special training in caring for alzheimer's and dementia patients but care for all kinds of issues.

This community is great with a wonderful staff members. The food is really great and he likes enough for seconds. He is very happy with the activities that are offered. I would recommend this community to others for good care.
