The staff very good manager for the smart and sweet ladies, in special care is Shawntel Sousa who is the first contact with the client and the senior for care. Also we have to Jessica who is managing to cover the shift with the staff. The key have different kinds the patient, mental illness, dementia, paralysis, anxiety, depression and companionship, assisted living and home care. I enjoyed working with the nice and sweet seniors in a retirement home, assisted living centre or in the owner house. I really recommend the company for your lovely family care.

Home Care Assistance Calgary was a life saver! My Mom got shingles, unexpectedly of course. She lives on her own and all of her children live in different cities and countries making it extremely difficult to provide in-person care, especially during COVID-19. HCAC to the rescue! They were incredibly responsive, caring, and professional. While my Mom's friend helped her initially getting to the ER, we couldn't have given her the care she so desperately needed to recover from this very painful condition, without their help. I would very much recommend you consider HCAC if you have someone needing in-home care.

I thought I had time to look into help for my parents but my father took a turn for the worst and my mom needed help right away. I had to have home care services for a family member three weeks ago on short notice so I contacted Home Care Services on Wednesday afternoon and asked Chuck if he could have someone for me tomorrow (Thursday). I did not think it would be possible but he had someone come in to assess the situation within an hour of my call and he was able to fill the role in less than 36 hours. Chuck and his staff were able to provide services at 5:30 AM Friday morning on such short notice to someone who has major mobility issues and needed help in getting ready every morning for the next 3 weeks. The staff he had come in were reliable dependable very friendly and helped make the morning extremely easy and created a comfortable and relaxed environment that allowed for the job to be easy, and less stressful. The staff were flexible, willing and able to provide services needed. They were well trained, either being nursing students or having worked in the health care field. They dealt with the family member with care, kindness and were extremely polite and were wonderful. They were willing to cook breakfast, help with helping with exercises, and get them ready with ease and get them off to work without panic and stress. I highly recommend Chuck and Home Care to any of you who has a loved one they need to help or take care of and need that little bit of extra support or respite that makes life easier for you. Chuck was extremely accommodating, understanding, supportive and wonderful to deal with and I would not hesitate to use him and his Home Care services again. He and his staff were amazing, trained, and great with the individual and they were extremely comfortable and confident with the staff who came out to help. Thank you Chuck. It made my life so much easier for the 2.5 weeks that I was gone. JT

My 94 year mother's health have been declining recently. So we seek help from Home Care Assistance Calgary on a friend's recommendation. They sent a caregiver to look after my mom between 10 pm and 6 am. Their services far exceed my expectations. The care givers are professional, caring, attentive to details, and stayed up all night (as my mom would wake up 3-6 times a night to pee). Each morning they provide a detailed report on the events that happened during the night. From reading the reports, I gained an in depth knowledge of my mother's situations. Our family greatly appreciate their services as we cannot look after my mother as good as they have been. If anyone has difficulties looking after their aging parents, I highly recommend they seek help from Home Care Assistance. My mother speaks Cantonese only, so we were worried about the language barrier. However, after a couple of days, we learn that care givers from Home Care Assistance work so well that language is no issues at all. My mom feel very comfortable with the care givers. Our experience with Home Care Assistance Calagary has been nothing less than exceptional. Our mother had had a couple of falls this spring, resulting in surgery and many months stay in a rehabilitation hospital. Upon her discharge we found that we as a family were at quite a loss as to how to care for her by ourselves. We contacted Chuck and he and his team immediately went to work to design Moms care plan and to match the best caregivers to meet her specific needs.
