My father-in-law lived at Arbour Lake atria for three years. He said those were the best three years of his life. He made friends and had a sense of belonging. The HRA has lots of entertainment and activities. It has festive decorations throughout the year. It has attentive and caring staff. The staff are quick to contact family at 911 in case of emergency.

My husband & I moved in to Arbour Lake Retirement Residence a few months ago. It has been a learning experience to be sure. Overall, the experience has been positive. We live in a spacious two bedroom two bathroom suite which as very clean & brightWe have both found the food quality & quantity to be good. My husband has medical issues & is grateful for the doctor who visits in the suite every other week. My husband's health has improved since moving here. I participate in some of the activities & give great credit to the Activities Director, Nancy for the energy & enthusiasm she puts into her job. She tries hard to keep us occupied. I am also very happy to not have to prepare meals three times a day everyday. And I have to credit the servers who are always cheerful & smiling. Community Living requires adjustment. It is very different in many aspects. But we are happy we came.

I took a lot of training and experience with me from here when I went on to work elsewhere. One thing that stood out was watching Nancy Stewart run her programming and how great she is with the residents! She really goes above and beyond for them and created such great relationships.

My dad moved to Arbour Lake Residence a little over a year ago. I have been very impressed with Arbour Lake's excellent management and organization. I feel that all staff are caring and trustworthy and do a great job of engaging residents.

My Mom moved in 4 years ago and it has been a fabulous experience. The Director and Recreation Manager are totally dialled into their roles, as are all the dedicated staff. My Mom has had several fun volunteer roles that keep her engaged and meeting new people. She toured 12 other locations before choosing Atria - the vibe was happy and uplifting. Things happen - but the team figure it out.
